It was a warm morning in Gotham City. The summer was coming to an end, so the air wasn’t dry or unpleasant and held the slightest chill to it, a sign of the oncoming autumn. Still she pulled at the school tie uncomfortably, gripping the strap of her bad a little tighter as she walked up to the large, very intimidating building. All around her students walked past her, happily chatting to their friends after summer break, completely oblivious to her feelings of being overwhelmed and way out of her depth. Now Summer was not a shy person, not by any measure of the word. Then again you couldn’t really be when you had to get up and perform in front of crowds every night for years of your life. As such, she was able to suppress those small butterflies of nervousness banging loudly against the walls of her stomach and offered every person she passed, and she passed a lot of people in those halls; a smile, a wave and a ‘good morning’. Needless to say this was probably an odder behaviour than if she’d simply kept quiet and not said anything to anyone and a lot of people were left confused by their encounter with her, wondering if they should have recognised her. It’s alright Summer. She assured herself as she started to notice the odd looks. It’s just like a performance. Smile and don’t let them see how much they scare you. Or how absolutely clueless she was. This place was huge and she spent a lot of that morning walking around feeling very lost and out of place. By some small miracle she managed to find her locker and put her bag inside, happy to be rid of the weight and extra bulk before taking out her schedule and trying to figure out where and what class she was actually supposed to be attending. She made it to the first class without too much drama, though this had mostly been due to good planning on her part, thinking to arrive early enough to give her the extra time she’d need in case she got lost. The school was big, but well designed, so it wasn’t that hard to find her classes as the day went on. Regardless she was more than happy when lunch rolled around and she was given a moment to just take a breath and not have to worry about being late to her next class because she was lost or being suffocated by the hoards of students.
Name: Summer Morre Age: ?? Appearance: (I tried looking for pictures but I couldn't find any I liked that weren't celebrities) Short in height, about 5'2" with an athletically lean body Summer has elbow length dark caramel brown hair with a light wave to it framing a round, childish face with large hazel eyes. History: Training in gymnastics from a young age Summer joined Haly's Circus when she was only seven, becoming part of the contortion act and using her gymnastic skills to perform difficult flips and tricks. Due to her small size she was also used in the acrobalance. She quickly began friends with Dick, due to their similar ages however after the death of his parents they were forced to separate as she continued to travel with the circus. However her mother beleived that the circus held no future for her and so insisted that she take a few years off to complete her schooling at a 'respectable institute' so she moved in with her Mother in Gotham City and is about to start attending Gotham Academy.

South looked at Cal for a long time as they walked, not sure if she exactly liked what he was telling her. However she smiled and decided to let it drop when he offered to help her with any more problems from North. “We’ll be fine.” She assured him. “To be honest it’s probably one of the first fights we’ve had in a long time… even before he left for the army.” She said, though there was this small hint of sadness in her voice, like there was more to the story of ‘before North left’ that she wasn’t going into. Wash’s question caught North off guard for a moment and a small blush could definitely be seen for a few seconds. “I um… well… you know what I don’t know honestly.” He said with an embarrassed laugh. “Whilst South and I aren’t twins we’ve always had an exceptionally close relationship. She got sick when she was very young, you see. So she wasn’t allowed to go outside much, so I was really the only friend she had. And when I wasn’t around she spent all her time on the computer, which is probably where the hacking started… anyway, it was a very expensive illness to treat.” “Curable… but we just didn’t have that kind of money. So as soon as I was able I joined the UNSC, hoping to be able to pay for her treatment.” He shrugged slightly, figuring it was just something anyone would have done for their family. “I’m not saying there isn’t a girl back where I’m from missing me… but honestly if there is she never said anything to me. Up until a few weeks ago I thought she was still back there.” He laughed. “You can imagine my surprise when I found out the UNSC had picked her up and already gone through with all of the treatment and thrown her into a secret program.” “What about all of you?” He asked suddenly. “I guess you all know my and South’s story about how we got here… what about you? And not why you were picked for this Freelancer stuff, I mean what drove you to join the UNSC?” South and Cal entered the Mess and she easily spotted her brother and the others and it brought a smile to her face, despite the fact they had parted on bad terms. South wasn’t sure if she’d ever be able to stay mad or upset with North honestly. Seeing him was just too much of a good memory in her mind and she waved happily at them.

At the sudden change in the boy’s demeanour Sabrina was sure she saw almost a physical change too, as if he almost looked like a different person. “See? I told you that you shouldn’t have done that.” She looked across the table and spoke to the wall again before looking back to the boy. Looking down at the paper before her before she picked up a pencil and began scribbling something down. After a few minutes, all of which she kept glancing at the boy now sitting on his own in the corner. Eventually she stood and walked over to him, holding the piece of paper out to him. On it she had drawn a little girl, probably meant to symbolise herself. Coming from the girl’s body was a small line that connected to a massive squiggle. Wordlessly she turned and walked back to her table and continued eating from the small bowl of fruit. Glancing over at him she wondered if he meant what he’d said before or was he just like the others and had no clue what her powers really were? Maybe he could help explain it to her, because even she didn’t know at this point. Stunned Raven stood from her chair and walked over to ‘Reaper’ the boy now in the corner. “What did she give you?” She asked, her interest clearly peeked. The girl had never seen Sabrina react to anyone else like that. So what was it about this guy that had gotten her to interact with him? She’d seen a few come and go with multiple-personality over the years; it seemed they had two in this group, though one could easily have just been aggression from hunger. It wasn’t something strange and he seemed to be in the more ‘placid’ state at the moment. She figured t was safe to approach him. If not… she was physically fit where as he was still a New-In, he’d be weak from the mutation process. She could probably overpower him.

He saw her coming long before she got close to him, and Ethan stood quickly, taking a few steps backwards before he turned and sprinted back into the forest, though the dark, dead trees did very little to hide his form. He didn’t go very far anyway, just enough that she wouldn’t try to approach him. Hopefully she was smart enough to stay away from the wall and didn’t try to follow. The further away from the town he got the thicker the trees began getting, making seeing too far ahead of yourself difficult. However it also made it harder for other things to see you. A fairly large winter rabbit came racing around the corner, Ethan realised quickly something must have been chasing it. However that thought occupied his mind for only a fraction of a second before he pounced, a long blade of some strange dark material flashing as he pounced on the creature. Listening he could hear more noises as the rabbits pursuer followed the creature’s trail. He quickly picked up the rabbit, backing away from where he’d killed it. It could have been a human hunter… though it was more likely a wolf or fox. Either way he wasn’t sharing.

The air was cold, soft flakes of snow drifted gently towards the ground, adding to the thick layer of soft powder already covering the ground. Twilight was upon the abandoned city beyond the Wall and although most still slept one walked the streets, surrounded by crumbling building and reminders of the past. Some of it was caused by natural deterioration of the stone; a lot of it was caused by fights between the inhabitants. For life to the south was hard; especially during the winter when food was so scarce. Feet padded silently through the snow as the horse sized creature moved slowly, four log legs kept the dark body out of the show. Its movements were reminiscent of a hunting cat, the way it seemed to stalk even when there was nothing around. Sensitive ears listened for the slightest of sounds, any kind of movement that could have been caused by something unlucky enough to become dinner. For daemons were up amongst the highest of apex predators. The same as the sharks installed fear in sea-farers and crocodiles and alligators terrorised the swamps and waterways the daemon was the fear of the south. There was no creature on land that they feared. Daylight was swiftly disappearing and the darkness was taking hold, their natural element as their bodies camouflaged perfectly with the night. However a crumbling city was hardly a place one would think to see creatures like this. Yet it had been the place the daemons had made their home. The city itself was surrounded by forest, though with the winter the trees were bare and offered no protection against the cold, wind or snow. Beyond the forest was a small stream, iced over now with the winter chill and partially covered in snow, a large stone bridge still managed to make a safe crossing point. Beyond that stream was the Wall; a high testimonial of stone easily taller than a house secluding them away from the rest of the world. Over the years small holes had appeared in it and some ever foolish or curious humans had crossed over for reasons unknown. Most were never heard from again. What actually lie beyond the wall was a mystery to him, however. For even though humans had thought to invite themselves into the daemon’s domain, no creature of darkness had ever crossed over to the human side. It remained a mystery to them. And they were content to leave it that way.
So I like to keep my character sheets fairly simple, since I like to discover a character's history and personality as the RP goes along. That being sad you're welcome to add more if you'd like. Name: Age: Appearance:
