Character Sheet:

[b]Name[b/]: Ruby
Age: Appears to be in mid teens but doesn't have a biological age due to being non-human.
Appearance (Dream Realm):

In the interest of fairness and preservation of the RP I'm not going to pick who gets in based on order of response. If anyone interested could please PM me a writing sample I'll be using that to pick, also note I will troll your profile to make sure you are active in RP's lol.
I think I'm trying to stay away from already existing heroes maybe you can base your mentor off one that already exists or they themselves could have been trained by that hero.
The world has always had heroes. But these heroes aren't going to be around forever. And so, a new generation of heroes emerges.

This RP will be about this new team of super heroes. They're all young, all still in training. Each player will need a young hero (between 13-17) and a mentor for their hero though the main focus will be on the young heroes, which will have their own team with their own missions on their own, without the adults.

I'm looking for about 4 other people to roleplay with me, but you can have more characters if you like, multiple students for one mentor is always allowed.

Please post here with any interst or questions. Once I have enough interest I'll start the OOC

The plot:
Your character is just a normal boy, who happened to have a very strange dream one night. It starts out in blackness, a voice calling out to him, and a strange purple cat. Soon enough he finds himself in a strange world, full of bizarre entities that inhabit the world, including a bizarre girl named Ruby. He soon discovers that this dream world of his is currently being controlled by some unseen ruler known as Stephan. At first he’s rather arrogant about the whole situation. He believes this is his dream and he is therefore completely safe, despite the fact Ruby continually tells him that he can indeed be hurt and if he dies here then that’s it. He’s never waking up.

She explains that he was brought here to be their saviour, but can she get him to take their plight seriously or will he continue to think that this is all just some elaborate dream? A figment of his imagination.

I have a very in depth plot for this RP, a very defined world and I’d love to share it with anyone interested :) Post lengths will probably be between 2-5 paragraphs. Your character is very flexible, they can be however you like, the only restriction I have is that he has to be about 16 have an older brother about 18.
Rebecca shrugged slightly at Adrian’s question and began wondering off. Splitting up had been his idea and he had certainly made it clear that this wasn’t a partnership. He was the boss and she was just… the mutant. What the hell Melissa had been thinking when they’d paired them together? They certainly weren’t a match. Maybe they’d just gotten desperate to get her out of there. They were pairing her with anyone they think would be able to control her. They want a pretty tamed bird. Shaking her head Rebecca almost missed it, the man sitting on the very end of one of the tables, looking stiff and staring directly at her.

The girl flinched back slightly and looked around for Adrian, but she couldn’t see him. Her eyes flashed back to where the man was sitting and he was still there. Rebecca couldn’t tell if it was the man they were after, it was too dark. Her eyes were a lot sharper than normal humans, but as a result her night vision was much poorer. She knew what she’d said. She said if she saw something she’d go get Adrian. But what if he got away in that time? Rebecca was torn. Eventually she shook her head and turned quickly, hurrying through the dim light as she looked for her partner.
At the sound of the voice Ashe moved instantly between the source of the noise and Ryder, feeling what little of her Magika remained flaring up protectively, despite the fact she probably wouldn’t have been able to do much. Her eyes watched Ryder’s dagger fall very short of his mark and she looked over towards the exhausted man. When he offered an escape for them Ashe jumped at the chance, despite feeling wary. She knew Ryder wouldn’t like the idea, but she also knew they didn’t have any other option at the moment. If they didn’t take his help then they had no other options at the moment.

If it turned out to be a trap… well then Alex was way too far ahead of them and there was only one option. Ashe took Ryder as Isabel sank into the hole before them and she helped him down to Isabel. She then turned to the cat as Blake followed the first two into the sewers. “I hope we can trust you.” She said softly, looking to him uncertainly. “If not…” She didn’t finish and jumped down into the sewers too. It was dark down here, dark and damp and smelly. Ashe took the chance to take a break for the first time in what felt like forever and she sank to the ground, cringing at the squelching noise.

She let her eyes close tiredly, her breathing slowing as she moved into a kind of semi-trance like state. She needed rest. She needed to concentrate. She needed to collect her thoughts and calm her emotions. Ashe suspected the others would want to press on, but she needed a minute, and she knew Ryder needed rest. “Just… give me a moment.” She asked softly, looking over to Isabel. “I just… need time to process.” Alex… how could he do this to them? To his own brother? She knew she wasn’t related to him by blood, but they were like family. He and Ryder were the closest thing she had. And he had betrayed them.
Looking at the strange creature, Krista reached out hesitantly, smiling softly. She didn’t touch it, but rather just tentatively hovered her fingers around it. She could feel heat coming from the small creature, whatever it was and had enough sense to realise it may burn her if she touched it. The sudden move caught her off guard as the lizard fled and she was about to rise to follow it when she saw Maggie shaking her head she sank back into the grass. It was strange to think s, but whenever she looked into the horse’s eyes she always saw so much understanding, she was sure the horse merely lacked the ability to speak, otherwise she would do so.

When she came over and sniffed at her Krista giggled softly as she reached up and rubbed the mare’s neck affectionately, looking over to the man as he stirred in his sleep. Smiling softly to herself Krista rose and moved away from him, making sure she didn’t rouse him from his sleep further. He, like most of her companions were quite unique, a kind of entity Krista had never imagined could exist. A man who could produce birds from his will, had the ability to create beautiful things, and was able to do amazing things. He didn’t, and sometimes she wondered why. She had heard Garrum often jab at him that ‘he had no magic left’ but it didn’t appear that way to her.

Garrum. Now that was someone she wasn’t sure what to think of. He was scary. He was clearly someone who had power, and he didn’t hesitate to use it, unlike Barral. Sometimes Krista wondered if maybe he should have a little more restraint over himself. But why should he? Why should he be denied of the things he can do? He was so strange though… sometimes it felt like he just wanted to eat her, other times to steal her away from Martin for whatever reason. Yet he was always so nice to her, he seemed to just want her favour over the knight for some reason. Whether he cared or not for the destruction of this world she wasn’t sure.

But Krista knew she could never betray Martin. He had saved her, she owed him everything. She would never be able to abandon him when he needed her. The knight never said it, he always saw her as something to be protected, but he needed her. And maybe not just to fulfil this prophecy. Gods knew she didn’t want this. The path she was on was not something she wanted. The only difference between here and her old world was that this one depended on her. How could she abandon him knowing that? Despite how tempting Garrum’s offer was? Hell how tempting Garrum himself was.

There was just something about him. He was the embodiment of temptation. Garrum was Temptation, Martin was reality and Barral… was wonder. He was everything her fantasies could imagine. And Krista… what was she? Perhaps it was different for everyone. For Martin she supposed he saw her as hope… or hopeless, either way. Something that was supposed to save his world but didn’t want to. For Garrum, her temptation, perhaps she was temptation for him. Maybe that predatory look in his eyes was a result of seeing her as a temptation.
