Oh how I love you, JJ. Haha, your post inspired me to sit down and work on several things concerning the play that I've been avoiding. That and Ex's reassuring words in the pad from the other day. The concept you found is absolutely enchanting! I've got all kinds of crazy ideas now. Just need some time to sort them all!

I’m not so sure if mankind is all that more sentient than animals. I’ve seen and hear about some really funky, insane stuff that some people do every weekend and it sounds a lot more like what animals do on the Discovery Channel rather than a sentient, intelligent species. The better these people look, the crazier the stories get. I might have a really morbid view of things, but the twenty some percent of humanity that are genetically attractive do nothing but indulge in lust and the other eighty percent kill and rape each other. This is one of the reasons why Humility is my favorite virtue.

I’ve imagined it to be similar to Square Enix’s film The Spirits Within, and Final Fantasy 7 of course, with the Gaia-thingy—some form of physical substance within the planet itself that recycles spirits to provide the world with life. I haven’t given it an awful lot of thought, but I have thought about it at some point, and I think Olivia briefly mentions it in the Ascalon Isles flashback with Aaron, but passes it for mumbo jumbo.

I suppose there is no harm in telling the ‘gag’ behind the Miranda Kerr avatar. I happened to mention to Ex that my real name is Miranda, upon which he revealed his obsession (?) with Miranda Kerr and repeatedly asked me to have her as my avatar. And being such a nice person (I hope), I changed it.

Speaking of animals and diseases... the girls in, well, where I'm from, are so god damn slutty. It makes me sick to my ass... excuse my French. Not to mention my own friends! Dear lord.. and I have to drink with them tonight. At least I can drown myself in alcohol and not cringe as much at their behavior.

@Blackwell, that's good to know, pumpkin! I've been listening to some random songs by Lana Del Rey, starting to like them more and more! Even if the genre is not my usual selection.

It seems like things are slowing down a bit, but it was to be expected, so no need to panic! I think our speed is still great, perhaps even better than some other plays. Not that speed is important, but, well.. activity.

Well, it looks like we have our first casualty. Adora hasn't replied to my message, which I sent six days ago, and it's been over a month since he posted in the in-character. So, from now on, Freddy is an NPC that anyone can control and speak for until and if Adora returns.

The part about the popcorn is based on what really happened to me. I still have no idea how I did it... I just put the popcorn bag into the microwave and followed the instructions, but I still burnt half the popcorn and left the other half unpopped... twice, in two different microwaves. It's a talent :)
