Current I turned 40 recently. Nothing happened, no crisis or anything. Turns out it's just another year.

That's okay Angel. Good to have you back!

Sonder sent me a message resigning from the roleplay, so if anyone had any collaborations going, cancel them. I will either NPC Sonder's character for a post or two, or we ignore it altogether.

From now on, the roleplay is closed to new players, as it's too much of a hassle for me to recruit new ones. It's my own fault for making it extremely difficult to introduce new characters. I'm also not going to take back anyone who is currently absent and has been for an extended period of time. This includes all players/characters who are below the 'line' in the character depository thread. As long as there are three people in this roleplay, it will continue, but I truly hope that more than that will stick around until the end.
Yes, dear, every word is a brick that forms a house (the post), and ever post is a brick that forms yet another house (the roleplay). That's all it is!

Haha, have you been stalking me in the 'Let's bitch'-thread in the Roleplay Discussion section? I complained about something like that some time ago. Don't beat yourself up too much, lovely fox with a rocket. You've already given us and this roleplay so much, and you're not a douche! If you still feel bad about it, just say "I plan to... bla bla bla"! I try to do it myself, as it gives me a bit of freedom in regards to my own schedule.

I actually wrote two big rants on the subjects for this post before I decided to scrap the whole thing as little more than verbal masturbation.

No, go ahead and post them. We'd be delighted to hear how and why our indulgences will net us a one-way ticket to Hell. As for the Boromir, I'd say Royce, but I think I already used him for another song!

I really like your avatar! Who is she? My first thought was Megan Fox, but the woman looks much prettier!

Oh, it is Megan. But, it's from a rare shoot (I think), so unless you actively look for pictures of her, you're not going to see this set.
@Ex, I don't get mad! I never get mad at anyone or anything, least of all at someone who doesn't 'love' Megan Fox. Haha, you make me sound as if I'm eight years old, with posters of her face all over my room (apartment!).
Ugh, I've had 8 AM classes this whole week. It's good that you guys keep each other busy in here.

Oh, and I noticed that Anima has her own roleplay now? What gives? You don't seem to understand, sweetie, that The Spirits Within is Love, The Spirits Within is Life. There is nothing else but the SPIRITS within you, and me, and all of us here. Haha, just kidding, of course! If you ever need players, all you need to do is ask me or the trusty minions here!
I'll certainly check out the ooc!

And @Numerica, paragraphs are quite poor measurements of length, as a paragraph can be just a single sentence. If you enjoy your character the length of the post will come automatically, because you'll find a great deal of pleasure in writing for him or her. When and if you find yourself dreaming about your character, you know you've created a character worth writing for!
That scene is hot as Hell. I might be biased, but I think most people would agree, even hardened Christians who think that same-sex interactions are the Devil itself. If I had the chance to be with a girl that looks like Megan, it would be the end of boys for me.

Anyway, I saw The Conjuring today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I did skip the jump-scares. They're just too much for my senses. But, I don't have any problems with the 'aftermath'... I mean, it's fiction. Why be scared of something that isn't real? Even if it was real, the chances of being exposed to it would be slim at best. I think I'm a lot more afraid of Ebola or being mugged, or worse, by some stranger on the street.
I don't enjoy horror films either, but I can watch Jennifer's Body. I saw the gore parts of it once, but whenever I re-watch it, I fast forward through all that stuff. I tried to watch 'Deliver us from Evil' the other day, as I enjoy the religious themes, but turns out it was just another exorcism flick with cheap jump-scares. The good thing was that the jump-scares were really predictable, so I could just fast forward through those as well!

The main problem with casual right now is that it's filled with people who don't want to be affiliated with free and advanced plus people who are high casual level people like myself whom are self conscious about going to advance because when you casually look into advanced and see essays per post. I personally think we should split casual into a 'normal' casual and 'high' casual section which may solve some of the issues but in itself is not a perfect solution.

This is a common problem whenever there is 'skill' segregation. There's always going to be a point where the 'better than worst' and 'worse than the best' meet, which creates this huge gap between play ability. I think that tagging your roleplay as 'High-Casual' should do the trick, no? Most people know what it is, so why would we need a separate forum for it? It would most likely lead to further segregation: 'high-high-casual' or 'low-advanced', which already exists I think.

@Prince, No, by all means, go ahead and bitch about it.
Fox on the right, Seyfried on the left. Megan has distinct acne scars on her cheeks, or she used to anyway. Hollywood removed them it would seem. The scene in the gif is from Jennifer's Body.
There is a difference between a 'second-grade' hobby and an actual hobby. A hobby that you have a passion for you do regularly, perhaps even everyday, whatever it might be. A 'second-grade' hobby, under which a lot people here file roleplaying, is something that you only like the idea of and are willing to give up, forever, at any given moment. Some people do set unrealistic rules and expectations, but from what I've gathered it's only to weed out the second-grade hobbyists/escapists and make room for people who actually have roleplaying as a legit hobby.
