@Blackbeard, if the characters are waking up from cryosleep in the beginning, Olivia is probably going to do check-ups on everyone, standard procedure stuff, so at least one part of your introduction post can play off of that! That is, if I happen to post before you, heh.

I'm with Igraine. Centering makes the text difficult to read as the eyes aren't used to that format.

Anyway...!

I was browsing tvtropes and determined that Olivia is definitely “The Chick” if one would go by the extremely generalized ‘five-man-band’, perhaps “The Heart” fits her as well, and “Team Mom”, both of which usually being part of the ‘the chick’. I know a lot of people here and on roleplaying forums like to be the ultimate bad-asses or the loner-fuck-you-type of persons, and that is fine, but I definitely have no problems with not being any of that.

In a general sense, I will probably steer Olivia on the path of these tropes that I have listed; makes it easier for her to be consistent in her character, but I will do my best to avoid two-dimensionality. As for her character arc, I am thinking something along the lines of her stance towards pacifism changing, but I have not entirely decided yet. Even if I do not explicitly mention it in her character sheet, Olivia is definitely a pacifist.

People who say "it's just a hobby, not a job" to justify any kind of behavior. When your hobby involves just you, then you can do whatever you want. But, when your hobby involves other people, basic social norms apply no matter what the hobby is.

The Spirits Within

@Rockette, migraines are the worst. My mother gets them. Luckily enough, I was spared.

I want to close this roleplay. I said and promised that I wouldn't, but the few of you who are left and active have to agree with me that it would be for the best. Most participants have disappeared, more than half that are left are semi- to inactive, and we can't recruit new players because of my mistake with the story.

I don't want to brutally just end things without your consent, so this should be a decision that everyone is on board with. If this ends, however, I can devote this time to finishing up the planning and stuff for The Spirits Within 2. So, whoever has gotten hooked on this can still get their fix!

Surely, some things will feel wasted, time and effort, but I think that we will waste even more if we continue with this.
