The dinner bell.

Oh yes, the dinner bell. A good sound for everyone, especially Charlize. Unwrapping herself from her bed, she slipped her boots back on and looked over at her bags that laid by the bed. It seemed like she would have to unpack later that night. Her grey eyes than traveled to the other bed in the room, empty as always. A room mate would be nice, but if a roomate did not show up, she was ready to do as she always did, and combine the beds together to make a large one.

Walking towards the dining room quickly Charli took no time in grabbing quite a plateful of food. She hadn't ate for a few days now, and could feel it in her brain that refueling was of necessary. From an onlooking gaze someone would estimate that the girl would have been using the plate to share with two or even three girls her size, but alas- the plate was for her and her alone.

Quickly Charlize found a table with an insider view. She enjoyed cataloging students during these times while she ate, even though most of them were to be thrown away in her files at the end of the night, she found it entertaining to look through, and even might keep a handsome man for some company for a couple days. "Ahem." Charlize said to herself, a small smirk stretching against her lips. Taking a fork in hand she began on her feast.

"I dunno but she's a new arrival I can say that much" Alex said taking his hand off of Hadley's shoulder seeing what was happening. "Yeah same here" Alex said to Hadley before beginning to rise from his seat upon seeing Liz slump against the wall. He did sit back down when it appeared Nerox was taking care of the situation. "Heh don't worry the food here is pretty good though I have only been here since last night so I might not be a reliable source on that matter" Alex said a slight chuckle following seeming to have regained his friendly look and tone.

"Oh I see." she cooed, as Alex told her about the girl. Her eyes studied the scene, and it was a little confusing from afar. Her eyes widened as the girl touched the boy's leg and she collapsed against the wall. "Did he...shock her?" Hadley pondered, her eyebrows raising and falling on her forehead. As Alex's hand slipped from her shoulder she felt a bit of relief. Alex was a good guy, Hadley was sure of it now. She watched as he almost got up to help the girl, and she couldn't help but comment, "See Alex, you're a good guy. I didn't even flinch to help that girl and you were already half way up to go save her." It wasn't that Hadley was a bad person or was thoughtless, it was just that like most people in the real world; they stay out of other people's business and problems.
Nice characters!
I too am not a big fan of using anime photos for anything but 'anime' ish styled roleplays.
I've been in a couple roleplays where people provided a character maker so the characters were all the same style.

That I liked.

I wouldn't mind joining this. Is there a link to the OOC somewhere up there?

Hasn't been made yet- the GM would like our CS's here though! ^^
Are you suggesting we eat you? Well.. if you insist..

Haha (: Welcome to the guild m'dear. Hope you find everything just fine.
If you have a question don't hesitate in asking! Cause, I might just have an answer.
Hadley shook her head softly. She didn't want to compete against who had it worse, they all had it bad. They all had been dealt the wrong hand in this life somehow. Hadley gave Alex a small smile, "Thankyou." she offered genuinely, nodding. "The same goes for you, anytime, anywhere." she completed the train of thought as she looked around the dining room. Only a few of the children had trailed in, and one was standing by the doorway looking lonely. "Who is that?" she wondered watching the girl come in and find a spot by herself. Hadley supposed she didn't want company or she would have came and sat next to someone. "I'm starving." Hadley admitted to Alex, her hand touching her tummy in response to the hunger that swept through her.
Charlize was already in her dorm room, she had known the layout of the place quite well now and didn't take too much hesitation in making it towards the comfort of four sturdy walls. Planting her bottom at the edge of the bed she let herself fall backwards her back and head hitting the mattress with a small bounce. "Now, I'm really home." she cooed bringing her legs up, whilst kicking her boots off. She crossed her legs underneath her as her arms wrapped around another and fell upon her face, covering her eyes. Slowly she began sorting through some of her information she had came across that day, sorting things out in her different memory ports.

She wondered what this year would have to bring, and if she would find anyone at all like her.

During the embrace Alex was speechless having been completely caught off guard by her reaction to his story. "No no it's ok" he said to Hadley when she apologized putting on a soft smile while a few silent tears coming down his face as he reached up to wipe them and re adjust his glasses. "Not bravery more like desperation. Fear of death makes you do crazy things." Alex said still managing to attempt to joke to try and make Hadley smile as turns out he didn't like seeing her so upset. "Guess the shock hasn't worn off but still pretty sure you've been through more hell than I have. Going by how you reacted to the housekeeper when she wanted us all to dress up." Alex said to Hadley this time a concerned look on his face. He had still been speaking only loud enough for Hadley to hear in case she wanted to keep this conversation private since he had wanted to keep his backstory more private.

"Not bravery more like desperation. Fear of death makes you do crazy things."

Hadley nodded giving a small smile and nod of her head towards Alex while he wiped his tears away from under his framed glasses. "I still think you're awfully brave." she assured, patting his leg. She was thankful he was so gentle and courteous. As he mentioned the event in the auditorium her cheeks flushed, "I'm mad at myself for how I reacted." she admitted, her hands folding tight in her lap as she looked away and then looked back Alex. She continued to keep her voice low enough to make sure they were the only two in the conversation, "When I was just a little girl, I had been playing outside and had got chomped on by what I can only assume was a spider." she gave a small chuckle, "It sounds dumb now, but I swear it's what happened." she then continued, "I myself then turned into a spider, and I had no idea on how to get myself back into human form. My parents searched for me, and searched..and searched. After awhile they just assumed I had been kidnapped from the yard, and that I was dead. The police couldn't find me, neighbors, anyone." she played with the ends of her dark hair gently as she finished her story, "I watched as my parents lost hope in their heart, they didn't literally kill themselves but I watched as their light burn out inside them, and that for the most part are my memories of my past. The rest consisted of me just trying to survive in the form of a spider until I finally figured out how to transform back, but by then it was too late, everyone was gone."
Hadley's soft smile became a concerned look as she listened to Alex's story. His voice was soft but harsh, so only the two of them could hear one another. Hadley's teeth sunk into her lip as she watched tears start to form in the boy's eyes. She didn't want to see him cry, and she wan't to see him in pain. She couldn't believe his story, not because she felt that he was lying but because she couldn't believe how strong and brave he had been, while she would have cowered in the corner.

"Am I .....am I a murderer?"

Alex's question caused Hadley to let out a exasperated breath as she began to cry for the boy. She couldn't help but wrap her arms around him in an embrace. Though she knew that wasn't very appropriate, she couldn't help it. She remembered that her parent's embraced her when she had been hurt or upset, and that is the only thing she knew to do. She spoke against his shoulder, quietly enough for him to hear, "No, you're not a murderer. You're one of the bravest people I know." she encouraged him, holding him for a moment before letting go. "I'm sorry." she apologized quickly, knowing she overstepped her bounds by a lot. She hoped he wouldn't be mad, and be understanding of her doing so.
