Boogie's voice almost seemed deafening when he spoke towards Bambi. Her shoulders tensed up and her fingers dug into the edge of the bar tightly. She had been spotted. "Flee while you still can!" her conscience screamed, but she couldn't. She turned her head slowly, her lip practically trembling as the corner of her mouth turned into a smile, "Oh... hello, what brings you here?" she asked, soon after mortified. A sense of stupidity swept over her as she realized how ridiculous she sounded asking the king of the night life as to 'what brings him here'. She laughed nervously and probably a bit too loud for comfort as she shifted in her seat, "Oh, I've been..." she paused, hoping that Boogie had lost interest already and moved on- but nope, there he was in all his glory giving her his full attention. "I've been g-good." she stuttered out, taking a sip of the water she had ordered a few minutes before the interaction.
"What now, stupid?" her brain shot off, as she gulped down multiple sips of her water. "How are y-you?" she asked, curious. Her eyes shifted rapidly as she looked around the bar. You would think a woman throwing a big birthday party would be easy to find. Just look for a bunch of drunk bitches who are a bit too 'comfortable' upon one another, and there you'd find the birthday girl in all her splendor; but no luck just yet.
