Francine dug in her purse for the cellphone and dialed up her mother and father's home residence. Not many people had a home phone these days, but many of the older people seemed to not be able to let go. **"Hey mom, Ferra and I are on our way over. Yep. Thanks. See you soon!"** she hung up the phone and placed it in the cup holder. *"Did you call Amy's parents?"* Ferra asked, obviously not paying attention to what was going on, too engrossed in her tablet game. **"I told you I'd call when we got to papa and mema's house, didn't I?"** Francine said, taking her hand off the steering wheel and over to tickle her daughter. **"Listen to me sometime huh!?"** she teased, her hand rummaging around her daughter's side. *"Mommy, quit it!"* she squealed, her tablet escaping from her hands and falling onto the floor. As the tickling came to a stop, Ferra unbuckled her seat belt so she could reach the tablet on the ground. It was then what seemed like a flash of light, Francine pressed the brakes as hard as she could. Their windshield was broken, covered with blood. **"Fuck."** Francine cursed, wondering what she hit. **"Stay here Ferra."** she said, hopping out the car and going to check on what had happened. Before her lay the body of a young woman, tangled by the mass of their SUV. Francine began to sob, not quite sure what to feel or do. **"Call the police!"** she yelled, **"Help me!"** she screamed to any watching or listening person. Going back to the car she instantly reached for the phone in the cup holder only to be stopped by the sight of her daughter crumbled into a lifeless pile on the floor of the passenger side. Her energetic ball of sunshine was now a cold boulder. The impact of her petite body hitting the airbag, and her head slamming against the door's window a fatal blow. Francine collapsed instantly, her knees buckling under the weight of the sorrow inside. She wailed, and wailed in tune to the incoming police sirens. Meanwhile, Amy dressed in her most fanciest dress- excited to surprise her one and only friend at the dance recital. The same one that would be canceled until further notice.

*Ah, well if someone doesn't- I'll take the first plunge; either before my appointment or after* *Oh yes, for further reference I am in central time- so right now it is 4:20. Blaze it or something*

Woo.* *As for now I'm sitting here in my undies letting my hair dry before I get ready for my dentist appointment at around 7 or so. His hand came out, for a normal handshake as he spoke, **"Geoffrey Dirk, dragon. I prefer Rey or my dragon name Croweyes."** Rey said, his wings moving as he spoke. She took his hand in hers and gave a gentle squeeze. **"Welcome to Oasis, June."** he spoke, as their hands released from one another. *"Thankyou Rey. I'm a Mermaid."* she paused *"If you were wondering that is."* she added, putting out her left human leg and wiggling it playfully. A smirk crawled upon Rey's face and Juniper couldn't help but let out a laugh. *"I got these when I was 15 years old. Came out of north side bay and was a beach bum ever since."* she flashed her smile, before leaning in closer to the boy. *"What did you get in for?"* she asked in a rushed whisper. She would very much like to know who she was getting involved with before starting any type of friendships. She leaned back against the door way, *"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to though, I'd find out eventually."*

**"I heard a noise out here and came to investigate. Just got here?"** The boy asked Juniper, her eyes tried to follow his, but the lack of white surrounding it made it difficult to tell whether he was looking at her or somewhere completely different. His tail hung low and swayed slightly with anticipation, his senses open to anything that might seem out of place. **"When did you come in?"** the boy asked again, before Juniper could answer his previous question. He seemed a little on edge, but I guess anyone would be in a house for criminals. *"Just got in a few moments ago."* the girl chirped, her body not tense in the slightest as she let herself press against the door frame. *"I like your tail."* Juniper said playfully, when she noticed it swaying behind the boy, *"I'd show you mine, but it requires a little more work."* she winked, with a soft chuckle. *"Hey, what's your name anyways? I'm Juniper. Some of my friends called me Juju, but I didn't like that very much. So maybe you can find another nickname for me during our time here."*
