Sounds good to me. Perhaps if we do lose a lot of people- we can wait until the remaining people meet up; and then when the recruiting for new people come they can be an already formed group? Just a thought (:
I love the avatar as well. I hate to ask for a second so quickly but this one is more for fun to do at your leisure. It's a big deal when a sailor crosses the equator onboard a ship. It isn't as common as it sounds. A sailor that has crossed the line, after a ceremony, is called a shellback. I've added a photo of my Ship's crest, my rating badge and just a picture of something that showed the shellback status. if you could come up with a way to organize my random ideas and or suggestions into something wildly cool and amazing I would be forever in your debt.
(: Ah yes. Very cool! I'll take a look at it later and make something up. Did you want it in signature form or just some type of art work?
I love it, You are amazing.!!!!!
c: I'm glad! Edited on an avatar if you wanted it as well!
Feel free to do what you think is best artwork wise, I'm not picky. I did update the link with my ship pictures.
Let me know what you think! With a bonus avatar ^^
I'd like to request a signature when you get a chance. I want it to be patriotic, maybe some red, white, blue etc. I'm adding a link for some pics of the ship I was stationed on and I just want it to say Navy_Vet. Thank you in advance I think your work with sigs is amazing.
It'd be an honor (: Will get to work on it as soon as I can.
<Snipped quote by MissCapnCrunch> This is actually better than what I had in mind! Thank you very very much Cap'!
Anytime (:
Reyna crawled in with the group with a smile on her face, she sat on the outer seat next to the door. Looking to the group she shook her head softly. What a group. Jackson caught Reyna's gaze as she watched him look out into the world with such wonderment and excitement that only a child could. Tears began to form in her dark almond eyes as she quickly turned away from them and looked outside onto the fair as the powerful ride raised steady and slow up into the night's sky. She was just fine. Tears didn't last long with her, especially in public. Turning back she looked towards the three, studying them carefully. The pale boy looked terrified and Reyna felt bad for him. Perhaps he had been afraid of heights. A quiet chuckle escaped her lips. "How can a boy so tall be afraid of heights?" she thought to herself as the silence between them had been interrupted by Aaron. “Am I crazy, or is this town...not right? It's like everyone in it are...” Aaron paused, “...meanies.” Reyna cleared her throat, before speaking. "I think there are a lot of good people in this town, just misguided." Reyna truly believed this in it's whole entirety. She had been bullied by friends and family a like- but she still had good faith in them. She crossed her ankles over themselves. She hoped they didn't think she was naive or childish for her thoughts.
Anyone is welcome to be the person who was in the house with me- if you'd like!
The town homes down the road from the bar had been home for Iris since she was a little girl. Ironic when you thought about it. It was also the location she had been fighting to get back to from her community service, hopefully to find her family. Dialing her cellphone had been no use, all the towers had been either knocked down or shut off completely. She huffed under her breath as she shoved the cellphone back into her bag. It might come in handy later after all. Reaching the front door of the town home she shared with her family, she reached for the door knob to find it already ajar. It creaked open slowly under her sweaty palms as her heart throbbed inside her throat. She slunk inside and closed the door quietly behind her. She didn't want to cause any attention to herself if someone or something had been inside. Peering around the corner she saw her living room over turned in a mess. Looters or her family, it couldn't truly be determined. She walked into the living room, a cracked frame of her two brothers and her laying in the pile of rubble. Squatting down, she picked up the frame, and began picking out the broken pieces of glasses from the wooden frame so she could try to salvage the photo. It was then the back bedroom door began to open. Grabbing a piece of glass, Iris stood up defensively, "Don't you move or I will mess you up man! I mean it!" she growled, and the door slammed closed with a loud thud. Iris didn't want to wait to find out what was lurking in the next room. She took the photo and folded it into her purse. Before ducking out of the house, Iris checked the kitchen for any food that could be left. Most of the obvious places had been cleared out completely, but not many would have known to check the back of the silverware draw for what Iris and her mother had called 'the secret stash' A place where the only women in the house would hide the roll of thin mint girl scout cookies. Opening the drawer, she reached in and pulled out the roll, smiling. "Thanks Mom." she whispered, putting the roll into her small black cross body bag and slipping it back over her shoulder. Looking down the hallway she noticed the back bedroom door was wide open. Whatever or whoever it had been was now gone, as the gaping front door also revealed. Iris wished them well, even if they had been looting her home, everyone deserved a chance. Even if they were complete assholes. Walking out the door, she looked up into the quickly dropping sun, hoping she could find somewhere safe to sleep tonight and maybe someone who could be of some help find her family, or at least survive.
You're both very welcome (:
