HISTORY
Born to Pierre and Jasmine Lowe, in the midst of a North Carolina summer- Imani was the young couple's first born child. Pierre was a humanities professor at the local college, Jasmine his student- and eventually the mother of his child. Jasmine is a witch, and Pierre is not by blood nor practice. This fact alone made their family a little bit of a controversy on both sides of the spectrum- One Pierre losing his career, and on the other- Jasmine finding love with someone who at first really had no interest or belief in the craft.

Growing up Imani had a fairly well off lifestyle. Both of her parents were loving and well rounded, and the brought another two children (daughters) into the world without too much struggle. Jasmine's parents were at first non-approving of the match but eventually got over the initial shock, and just wanted to have a positive start for their grandchildren.

When Imani came of age, her grandparent's insisted she attended Raindale to further her practice and learn more about her heritage. At first she was very intimidated and everything was so new and overwhelming. It is now her second year attending and she is becoming a bit more confident and well rounded. She hopes to let her hair down a little and try to focus on herself a little more and not so straight laced in her school work.

PERSONALITY
Imani always has a little song in her voice, often founding humming a soft tune. She takes her studying seriously, and doesn't have a lot of time for nonsense. A friendly smile with a good head on her shoulders. Her own worst enemy, she can be self destructive and can't help but hurt anyone who gets a little too close. "Don't you think it'd be nice if you and I could grow old together? I just wanna go home to you every day of my life." Sentimental with a touch of cry baby. Keeping her upper lip stiff as possible.

Herbalism: The study of botany and use of plants intended for medicinal purposes. Plants have been the basis for medical treatments through much of human history, and such traditional medicine is still widely practiced today. Imani found her specialization within Herbology both in the healing and harmful power of the earth's natural bounty.

STRENGTHS
• Studious: Imani prides herself in her good grades and her persistence in practices. When things become difficult she does not give up, but instead works harder- sometimes to the point of becoming so overwhelmed that she breaks down.

• Alignments: Finding spiritual connection to the Earth, Imani has an easy time finding her inner peace to connect to what she needs to be connected to. Bad spiritual auras are not in her forte. It takes a lot to get under her skin, and if it's gotten that far- consider it non-redeemable.

• Coven: Working better as a group rather than solo, Imani finds it easier to connect with other students to complete tasks and just in general. She is sociable enough that you can go get coffee with, or just say hello to you in passing.

WEAKNESSES
• Delicate: Petite at only five foot tall, and a little over one hundred pounds, Imani isn't very intimidating. Her bark is louder than her bite, and her very last choice is to physically confront someone with problems. More likely to write you a note, or send a text.

• Sensitivity: When dissected frogs were on the agenda for one of her first classes at Raindale- Imani proceeded to throw up in the trash can at the front of the room. She doesn't like strong smells, and isn't the biggest fan of gore and guts. Movies don't seem to bother her too badly, but real life does her in, quickly.

• Overwhelmed: When Imani hits her breaking point and gets overwhelmed she shuts down mentally and physically. Staying in bed for the day is something she's not unknown to do. More likely to take it out on herself than anyone else, she is more self nit-picky than anything.

FAMILIAR
A House Finch. Imani came across it as a young child in North Carolina. His left wing was broken and she brought it inside from the backyard in which she found it. Her parent's helped her form a contract with the small bird, and the two have been with one another ever since.

After over 8 years of being a nerd on the guild I have finally once and for all, decided to make a 1x1 interest thread. Please hold the jeers and boos until the end everyone! Why have I decided to do this, you may ask? Well mostly just because I can. Another reason is that I think I would like to branch out of my comfort zone a little bit and try my hand at not just big group roleplays. So here I am, let's get down to business to defeat the huns or something. Make some magic. Do a little dance, make a little love. Get down tonight.

So as far as rules go, I am not going to play Queen of the guild. You should know the basic rules by now and if you don't, well you'll learn real quick like. I am not going to hold your hand. Just don't be a dick and we'll be good with one another. I prefer my partners to be 18+ or better yet 21+ (if you're older than me, automatically can marry me) because I like to talk about adult and mature things. Weird things, funky things, naughty things, and terrible things too. You name it, I can probably figure it out- and you should be able to, too. If for some crazy reason you're under 18 and you REALLY want to roleplay with me, we can figure something out that is appropriate for all parties. As far as smut goes, I'm fine with it WHEN it's appropriate to the story. I'm not here to get your rocks off daily. But, it is a part of life, so if it makes sense for our story we're crafting- then I'll be going all in. Truly. You're probably going to fuck around and fall in love with me. LOL JK. Sorry. Not sorry.

What is my writing level? It flexes HARD. Sometimes I am in the mood to write short paragraphs, other times I can write several. It all depends on my mood, your mood, and just the story in general. This is a collaboration of writing, so we gotta work together ya know? I don't mind spelling, I know some of our friends here aren't English natives and by all means- you all are doing better than me most of the time. I just write exactly how I talk, and sometimes it doesn't really make sense or doesn't come out right. It's fine. We're all just trying our best.

I try to be on daily, at least to check my notifications. I would try to reply once a week, but depending on chapter in my life- it can change, to be more often or less often. Don't go off my schedule. HOWEVER- if I don't hear from you in over a month, without nothing- I assume you're dead, and you ARE as far as I'm concerned. So if you want to roleplay with me again, you'll have to restart fresh with me.

I like to write as a lady, since i'm a lady. I don't care who you are or what you play as- as long as it makes sense with the setting. I don't want a big ol' shlonged out alien in my slice of life; at least not in most of them. I like interesting characters, so make em' good. Make em' mean something. I don't discriminate and I'm up for anything at least once. Twice if you ask politely.

☐ Slice of Life: I enjoy simplicity. I've had a rough life- so sometimes I seek refuge in small and happy things. That doesn't mean I don't like the drama and hard things, I do- trust me I do. But that basic base is always something I feel comforted in. It's something I really know, and can talk about fully. Let's figure out something. I'm not too picky about these type of things; high school, college, camp, work, etc- it doesn't matter to me. I just like it. Bonus if you have a twist of some sort. I like surprises.

☐ Apocalyptic: Sometimes being the only two people left on this planet makes my brain do things. Zombies, aliens, other weird deadly diseases. I like those settings. If we're not the only people in this setting and it's something more like a hold up or something and we run a few NPCs or whatever. I can dig that too. Survival is neat, and it's fun to think about on not a HUGE realistic stem. I'm not trying to become your bunker information center, so let's keep those type of technical things on the down low.

☐ Creepy: Horror things make me drenched bruh. Most of my group roleplays I have crafted have some sort of horrible twist. I think if it's something you really enjoy; then why not have fun with it. (I so do) This could go multiple ways- no I do not want just a role play of torturing me or anything of the sort. But, I do like the elements. Creatures features, ghosts- all those things could be good with me if presented right. If you can mix any of these other things with one another and i'll be even happier.

☐ Sci-Fi & Fantasy: I'm not the biggest fan of writing for sci-fi or fantasy, not because I don't love the genres but because I just am not sure what to do with it sometimes. I'm NOT confident! I feel like there are so many people on this site who can pull technology ideas out of their ass and make something cool, and i'm not there quite yet. Or on the other hand, they have these beautiful crafted fantasy like worlds and characters and I am unsure of what is "right" or wrong. I feel old and dumb. If this is something you really enjoy though, I would be willing to work on it, if you'll be patient with me. :)

☐ Fandoms: Sorry guys, I am not really into writing fandoms. Number one reason is because I don't like playing characters that already exist- since making characters is one of my favorite parts of roleplaying! Number two reason is because I just don't care about any show/movie/anime etc to see what COULD be or what have you. Roleplays that are based off certain things but with our own stories and characters is something I could get behind if I like it enough. Convince me, I'm not a tough cookie- just take a bite.
