Hmmm, good questions and if I think about it then I would most likely prefer Original world, not that far from RL, with some fantasy aspects if needed. From what I would like as themes then I enjoy a bit of everything....Probably I would like to join in every of those themes but what scares me is that I do not possess the right amount of knowledge to be able to write in detailed story. And I kind of have a thing of talking really widely so I would probably go with a paragraph at least, in worst case scenario 3-4 sentences.And I have one question. Many years ago I tried something similar and I joined the game and what annoyed me was that someone starts like a private conversation or just asks a question and the puppet master of the character that the question was asked to is not replying for many hours(work, school or anything else) so people just kept writing. So my question is what to do in such situation? Ignore that any question was asked and just jump in where everyone? And what if the story has went that far that you need almost to make up a new story about yourself to be able to join back in from where you were absent...?

You would probably want to start in the Free/Casual area then to be on the safe side, and move your way up when you feel like it!

As for your question, I personally believe that it comes down to your own decision making skills. If a person you're talking to in the roleplay doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon- then you gotta make the decision to either A) wait it out B) completely ignore and continue on or C) find an alternative to getting your own questioned answered. (I don't know how many times i've been talking to someone in real life and they trailed off to never truly answer my question- but I still go on with life!)

Usually if it gets SOO far behind that you have to recreate a totally different story for your character, I'd have a word with the group or partner you're roleplaying with and figure something out or consider dropping the roleplay all together. That's just how I feel about things though!

Aha! Yeah, I came back right when the site re-opened; but had a bit of trouble at home and ended up homeless for a little bit x: But long story short, I'm in a bit of a more stable situation and am ready to get back into roleplaying- so thank you for accepting me!

Biography: Iris was born of Italian descent into a lower class family. Her mother and father were both unemployed, and she never had quite the easiest time keeping a job growing up. She is the youngest of 3 children; her two older brothers: Ian and Ivan. Twins, and both quite the troublemakers. Growing up Iris spent a lot of her time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. They protected and kept her safe, but also brought her into the world of vices while mom and dad were away trying to find work, or sleeping soundly in bed after a night of partying.

A party here and there, a drink here and there to match. Iris couldn't keep track of her days, her nights, or the faces of the people she slept with, and to be honest she almost didn't care. There wasn't too many memories of that night besides the rancid taste of vomit in her mouth and the gaping gash on her forehead when she crashed into a truck. She was lucky no one was killed, but she did face the consequences. Her license was suspended and she was given enough community service hours to last a life time. The bus was her only means of transportation these days, and she used it quite often.

Growing up Ana spent quite the time with her brothers, following them around like a lost puppy. It wasn't until she was 13 that she discovered something odd about herself, she could produce poison, unlike anyone in her family or that she had ever met before. Most girls that age worried about their periods, boys, and growing out of a training bra- not turning things poisonous!

Ivy is an only child, and that is the way she likes it. When not chasing her friends around, she often would fall into a land of fantasy that were portrayed in her books, writings, and sometimes artwork. Ivy has always been taught a good work and study ethic, being pushed by her parents to exceed in everything in life. One could say they push her a little too hard to be perfect, but she takes it in stride.
