Pokemon: Nexus [Accepting Two More!]

We talked to @AbysmalDemon about this already, we agreed to slow down; it's just that nothing eventful worth writing about would've happened between our characters that would be worth slowing down.

We just time jumped to save time and energy for posting about 'how green the grass looks' or 'how much Fantasia's legs hurt' because it is implied they went on a long journey to get where they were, it is just condensed to save real life time and energy (That I have little of being in college).

If I went extremely slow, we would have arrived at Harport in a few weeks real life time because I have no time because of a full time college scheduel and Sho is in a completely opposite timezone in Australia.

It was just most economic time wise, and we are slowing way down at Grand City thought because their is more to do.

We can't go back and delete our posts and start from ground 0, it is what it is. :\

Hard reality is that sometimes people's timelines will go faster than yours, and I am sorry that we are so far ahead; I just don't want to lose interest because things are moving way to slow (1 post a day slow).

Also, to ensure people can fairly find the Pokemon they want, I want to propose the ability to increase those chances. Here are some possible methods you can do in-RP.

• "Spotting" or "hearing" or some other thing anything related to the Pokemon you're looking for. For instance maybe they left behind some kind of clue that they're nearby? Basically include that in your post.
• You can ask the next Pokemon you encounter if they've seen a <insert Pokemon you're looking for> or anything like it. This can vary in result, but it can be fun interacting with other Pokemon in a way other than fighting or catching them.
• Anything else you can think of.

Basically, this is under the logic of, "you won't find it unless you look for it", kind of thing. You may encounter what you want by luck, but you can also vastly increase your chances by actively looking for it.

Exactly what I meant, I wasn't just gonna give myself those pokemon; of course you need to look for them in the locations they are posted at! :)

I just thought when they said random encounter, that we would only have a certian # of encounters per route, and if we didn't find the pokemon we wanted; we are out of luck.

I just want to make sure that at some point I would be able to get my contest dream team that's all :D

Fantasia Heirloom - The Grand Tradition - 8:00 PM

Fantasia walked into the Grand Tradition, looking awestruck at the ornate marble tile and the chandelier above that had to be two stories tall draping down the vaulted ceiling. This place was divine, intentionally placed for the Poke-stars who lived in the Grand City. Fantasia thought about how many famous individuals had stood in the exact spot she was standing, which blew her mind a bit.

She shrugged off her deep-thought and walked towards the Elevator with Blair, he explained to her that he was going to drop off his things and go out for a bit. Fantasia reminded him to get his rest, so that they may meet Miss Von Goshe early in the morning; he seemed preoccupied with food but nodded unintentionally at her.

She rode the elevator until she reached the 50th floor, the Penthouse. The view was spectacular, each wall had a large window to see out of; flaunting a sleepy night sky with a few clouds randomly generated around the deep blue canvas.

Fantasia wasted no time to the bedroom, flinging her purse on the bed and frantically running to the closet to assure herself her dress had arrived. She exhaled a sigh of relief when she saw her $1000 dress, clean and pressed in the closet; ready to be worn.

She took a moment to breathe, then reached over to her nightstand and called room service from the landline.

“Hello, thank you for choosing the Grand Tradition; my name is Greg how may I help you?”

“Hello, Greg.” Fantasia paused for a moment, “-this is Fantasia Heirloom, I am staying in the penthouse.”

“Ah, Yes.” Something rustled in the background, “What can I do for you Miss Heirloom?”

“I need potting soil for my sweet Budew brought up as soon as you can.”

“Yes Ma’am, we shall get right on it.”

“Thank you.” Fantasia hung up.

She sighed for a moment, trying to hold her own emotions together. She could feel herself tearing up and beginning to breathe more heavily. Consciously, she took a moment to think, attempting to make the sadness go away but to no avail. Fantasia realized no amount of rationality would make her feel better, so she walked out onto the balcony to get some fresh air before bed.

It was only a few brief moments before she bursted into tears, leaning on the railing as she laid her head in her arms for a desperate cry.
“Here I am Meloetta, pursuing our dream without you.” She gazed up at the moon, directing her tear soaked eyes towards the light, “-it doesn’t feel right and it doesn’t feel fair to move on without you.”

She stood in the pale moonlight for a few moments, almost believing she could hear Meloetta’s soothing voice again as she walked back into the dark room.

The problem is that you didn't earn the Pokemon and it feels cheap and empty.

You know what's better than catching the Pokemon you want? Catching the Pokemon you want after a bunch of events and thus earning that right at the end of it.

It's a feeling of reward that the RP is missing, which is why having someone play as the Environment I think is essential.

I agree, I usually make up scenarios to get my desired pokemon and each one will have a different way they joined the party to keep things fun and interesting :)

Apparently we have to 'roll' for pokemon, so I don't think so unless we are able to encounter pokemon we want.

My ideal end game would be Starter, Legendary, Misdreavus, Cherrim, Dragonair and Aurorus. All cute and beautiful pokemon <3

As long as I am able to get Meloetta, Cherubi, Misdreavus, Dratini and Amaura on my journey at some point, I'm chill with whatever y'all wanna do. :p

Why don't we just limit 1 Legendary, 1 Pseudo Legendary and 1 Mega Evoloutin per trainer until further notice, so people can get the pokemon they are after on the designated routes; and can't abuse the "pseudo legendary" and mega evolution features?
