The Craft

I would hazard a guess that Vrani will feel much the same. I was tired and cranky from a 15-16 hour work day. So I slept on it before responding. My usual knee jerk response would be a no, but with sleep ... I saw some ways for it to fit in - and even be useful.

It is just that this is not a magic bender RP. 99.9% of the wiccans out there won't do anything that couldn't be explained by coincidence or imagination. So a solo witch having much success I am leery of. Diane has, but it is all coincidental. What she has done could be given rational explanations.

I am going to have to say no to the male witch? It isn't that I am against one, just not for this RP as a witch. This is one reason I so rarely do a fandom type RP.

I did have a 1x1 that would have been ideal for a male wiccan. It was NOT one for real magic though - at least not that ever actually worked ... until it did ... just not for him. He wrote the spell. Someone else actually casts it, not really expecting it to work.

Although ... that might work. My character is big into computers - a hacker even. I could see her looking up spells on the internet for them to try. Of course, if the girls try the one above ...

But before I do that, I am going to let the others weigh in.

also, @blackdragon I mentioned this to Vrani. We will also need NPC's ... teachers, bullies, regular students. This starts off revolving around school, with very minor parlor tricks as far as real magic goes. In the craft, the one wiccan among them (the actress also a wiccan in real life) can't even do real magic. But she sets up a ritual to gain them power. Unfortunately it drives her mad.

Okay guys. Got really busy with work yesterday - a 15 hour day.

I say we get started with what we have. Vrani offered to create run the other witch. We could always add one more later on. But I don't want to keep you guys waiting forever. (I had that problem in someone else's RP and I know how that feels. Six guys post "interested" and never make a character.)

No, but Vrani may do up the last coven member. A coven actually works well up to 13. I just chose 4 as a manageable number of people. I was going to give it a day tops. Heck, we could even work with just three. Charmed did it.

I answer this question at the characters tab of the RP. My format or your. Just need to make sure the RP specific stuff is included. The WHY question doesn't have to be overthought. "Because the idea sounded cool" is a reason. Maybe a shallow one, but still a reason. Teenagers do things for far less thought out reasons. For my character, curiosity and a need for friends would fit.
