Okay an update: everyone has their characters posted and I'm working on bringing our two newcomers in to the fold.

With one of those newcomers, I'm working on setting up the next section of our adventure. It's actually pretty exciting, and should be coming soon-ish (I say ish because I have an exam tomorrow)

Let's see if we can get it going by this weekend? Time will tell

I just added a bit more lore to the Devil Divers on the world lore post, if you're curious. It does talk about Holloway a bit, so I thought I'd mention it to you. spoiler: they were not really good people

Note to all: currently working with Vicier to get a character up and running. I'm not sure if we'll get his/her character up before I want to make my next post, which would probably be smaller but idk man we'll see

Hey everyone! I'd like to join Vicier in signifying my interest to this roleplay. I've been off of the guild for a while, but when I saw this and read up on that lovely, and hilariously (totally unbiased) written summary by @Atrophy I was sold on joining.

I'm currently reading up a bit more on the world and story to get more of a bearing on how I would like to craft my character (If my joining is alright). That being said...would it be alright for me to join in with the squad, too?

Absolutely. It would be pretty cool to have a couple more newcomers.

A WARNING TO ANY NEW PEOPLE: this RP has survived for months and months, sometimes with two whole weeks of no posting. Me, Atrophy, and Caits have been chipping away at this since last year, and we've so far been content to take it a one step at a time. If you guys crave rapid-fire posting and non-stop action...well, I don't think this is the place.

@MonsterIf you want to talk shop with me at all, feel free to ask questions here or PM me. I'm off to bed now, and tomorrow I have a lot going on, but I'll be sure to get back to you by Saturday afternoon (I say I'm busy, but I always seem to find time to reply to PMs anyway).

EDIT: an addendum to newcomers, but one I think is important: I would like some commitment if you take the time to draw up a CS (after all, why put in the effort if you're not going to stick around?) However, if you find yourself losing interest or losing time to commit, please do say so, instead of just disappearing. It's a lot easier to get things back on track that way, ya feel
