The blue glow of the items you carry on the Lady's behalf glow a slightly dimmer blue than that of yourself. It is not uncommon for those who study magic to maintain an essence of the weave within themselves."
She glanced forward towards the end of the bazaar and the upcoming rows of the residential zone. "Please do keep up, I would hate for us to be the last to arrive."
@VeyrinDay @Kenshi @Dark Cloud The assistants lead each of their groups past the bazaar and through the sectional divides of the residential district. The first several sections were bustling with human women and children going about their day, gossiping as they ran lines of laundry between the kutcha homes and children kicking balls down dirt swept street. The area was easily compared to any other 'slums' of the cities each had seen on their own continents. Continuing down the main thoroughfares, the homes became more sturdy, fashioned together with adobe-clay bricks. It would be obvious to Itylara's guests that the closer they got to the center of the city where the main 'palace' was situated that the wealth of the residence was greater as shown by an increase of guards, less chatter in the streets, and the sturdy build of the homes. Each groups arrived at a different entrance of the high-walled palace, the guards nodding their heads to the robed assistances of Itylara's, through their presence the strangers were permitted entry.
"Stay close, this place can be a bit of a maze," the assistants informed their charges as they continued forward. Guards lined the halls every twenty or so feet as the heavy thud of boots from the wandering patrols echoed down seemingly empty halls. The assistants lead their wards through the halls and steps of the palace, turning here and there more times than even the most skilled tracker could follow. Alas they came up a spiral staircase and into the antechamber of Itylara's rooms.
"Wait here," each were instructed by the assistant accompanying them with a motion to one of the many cushioned benches and chairs. Aseir was the first to have arrived, though by mere moments of Jun and Captain Tenria. Another few moments later, Saris was brought in as well and moments after him, a dwarf with skin the color of a walnut tree's bark and hair that seemed to be black in the flickering firelight of the torches that lined the walls. She glanced with dark eyes to each of the others in the room, leaning on a crooked wooden stave before moving to one of the unoccupied benches and taking a seat.
