Dammit @Gowi
Wasted Bryan Cranston mic drop.

No but really, I kind of decided it'd probably best not to go the whole dual sheet route rather than implementing some stuff from Dinah into the bigger supporting cast and all. I mean, imagine the shit Morden would give me if he had to read two backstories worth of needlessly long character sheets.

Besides, I've already got a reputation for never finishing stuff, I'd be working on a dual sheet for like, weeks knowing my irregular spikes of motivation.

Long, pretty character sheets are just too masturbatory for my liking. Sometimes you want to gloss over that and get done to the real thing.

Maybe I should end that analogy there before it gets too blue. I'd just much rather a sparse sheet but another character in game than a super detailed sheet that never gets finished. I need some Green Arrow in my life, you son of a bitch. Don't you deny me that.
The trouble with the massive sheets for characters that don't already have A-List status is that there is a lot less to draw from. It's hard because its not really fair from a creative standpoint that characters like GA don't have nearly the rogues gallery of the Batman without using a Justice League villain, a thousand nameless NPCs, or stealing from another players options.

Also, I have an idea for a game much like UDC, distinguished mainly by policy towards OCs.

There is a constituency on this website for comic book games. The comic book games that are set up tend to draw from that same constituency over and over again. Better not to oversaturate the market with too many games of the same type that are going to spread our existing constituency even thinner than it's currently spread. I'm not sure about everybody else, but I'd sooner have fewer but stronger comic book games than too many that are struggling or moving at a snail's pace.

I think constantly making new comic book games where people are compelled to retell origin stories that have been told hundreds of time and re-establish relationships that already exist is a surefire way to unwittingly degrade the morale of that constituency. I've seen it happen on other sites. (See: Superhero Hype)
I understand. Honestly I'm not even sure how I let it become the beast that it is now, considering the initial spark was quite literally "Archery is cool. I should be an archer." and evolved from "CW's doing a pretty shit job at GA, I could at least do GA better than them, right?" to "I could totally make Green Arrow into an A-lister if I put enough work in, dammit." which is probably a horrible reason to play a character.

But yeah. Hopefully now that it's out in the open and all that jazz I'll finally kick my own ass into finishing it up. Lord knows what in the hell he'll be up to other than shooting street thugs with pointy sticks. What more does a man really need in life?

Now that I've agreed with MM, I seriously do like the idea of you finishing though.

Wait is Gowi dead? And how does this keep happening?

I believe his new job is (understandably) taking up an awful lot of his time.

What's that, pig head? You want me to ruthlessly consolidate power, kill everyone who opposes me, and steal their significant others? I mean, okay. Who am I to argue?

On a somewhat unrelated aside, the Hawkhound's name is Lucky, though if I recall Clint just calls him Arrow because he's a dweeb.

I've never understood why people make character sheets this long. Do you enjoy the sheet-making process? Personally, I find making them laborious and usually try to get through them as quickly as possible so I can actually start. So when I see ones this impressively detailed it baffles me.
Also, who approves applications now that @Gowi is dead? Are the lunatics finally running the asylum?
Speaking of art @Morden Man helped me get some concept art for Executive Branch characters.

Definitely worth the unending sexual favours you pledged in exchange for them. I finally got round to scanning them because I'm sure you'd rather not have my shadow looming over them. As noble and magisterial as it is.

Civil War was a very poorly written event. If this game were to survive long enough that we could even think about doing something like it, I wouldn't rule out having Captain America lead the pro-registration side.

There's certainly a moral case for registration that doesn't have to result in crazed Thor clones and getting murderers to work for you.
