Dr. Dorothy Pender & Dr. Fitz Townsley

Location: Prometheus: Lower Deck: Between Infirmary (6) and Guest Quarters (7/8)
Skills: None

"Forgive me if I don't find much use in a rather crudely fashioned projectile," Dorothy quipped. She knew exactly what purpose and function Atticus believed that book would serve, but she didn't need a dusty old book to tell her how to be a good person. And as long as she followed her conscience, she didn't see much of a point or need for religion. While it may have calmed others, it truthfully only disturbed Dorothy the more she sat and thought about it. For there to be a higher power, they had to be a scoundrel - who else would allow the 'Verse to fall into such a state? No, in her opinion they were alone in the 'Verse, aside from the reavers and the flora and fauna of various planets.

But as to what she and Atticus would do if he ran out of Bibles to chuck at her? The thought had occurred to Dorothy once but she had quickly pushed it from her mind. It had come out of nowhere and it wasn't something she thought any sane person would have thought up. "And I'm certain a man of science such as yourself doesn't have much use for such a thing," Dorothy added, looking at Fitz. Fitz stared back at her and Atticus awkwardly, feeling as if he was being asked to pick a winner of an age old feud.

"Uh....Th-thank you," Fitz said awkwardly. "N-N-Not really sure if I believe in a god or anything but...always good to read new things," he finished, rubbing the back of his neck. He had been aiming to find some sort of middle ground between two extremes. There was no harm in owning or reading it - it didn't mean he was forced to believe what it said. He had gone on this journey to experience more of the 'Verse than just his sheltered home at university. Exposing himself to different belief systems easily fell under that category.

"O-oh, would you like to play Cl-Cluedo with us?" Fitz then added, holding up the game. Daphne and Jackie had already agreed to play and it would work with three players, but a fourth would be welcomed. It was a shame that the second in command, Dorothy, had declined playing. Games always were fun with more people. Sure, there was something about the game itself that was entertaining, but he loved the human connections that were formed in the process.

Oh, and he did really look forward to connecting with Daphne.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Corner of Portland Place & Oxford Street -> Westminster Bridge (Northside)
Skills: Deduction

Virginia tore herself away from her thoughts as they were questioned upon leaving the city. It wasn't any sort of typical protocol, meaning that something extraordinary had to have occurred. Of course, what was extraordinary to a Crypt was easily horrifying to the general public. Slipping into her state of mind for her amateur investigations, Virginia came to the conclusion that the guards of the barricade could have several purposes. The first was that a person of interest was leaving London and they wished to prevent it. The second was that someone sought to somehow damage the barricade, in order to open for an attack. And the third was nothing more than simple bureaucracy, but she strongly doubted that option as being feasible.

She doubted they were searching for the Grand Duchess. The Russian Circus didn't seem the type to request for the guards of London to prevent her from leaving. They had more style than that. Who were they searching for? She pondered whether it was Mary, but similarly, she didn't think anyone would have been searching for Mary in such a fashion. Had the Talinks truly carried with their threats and had bribed the guards? No, it was too much in the open for creatures that lurked in the shadow. Still, Virginia held her tongue, deciding to hold back and remain as obscured by Mary's form as she could. Her features had caused her to be mistaken for the Soulless before and she did not wish to jeopardize their mission.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Eden - Greed
Skills: Pistol, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Stamina

Banging Bea? She raised an eyebrow, though she supposed that she had heard worse. The only name she truly hated being called had been Double Decker - an unfortunate nickname that she had gotten in high school, after one of her classmates had watched a movie about a vacation to London. She preferred Trixie to that nickname and in her mind, Trixie was a prostitute's name - or an animated cartoon character. Either way, it didn't quite suit her personality. She then smirked as Lola burst into song once more, they did seem to be clearing these rooms rather quickly. It struck her as a bit pathetic on Eden's part. This was their center of operations and a small group of crazies were slaughtering them. How had they managed to be such a threat like this?

It gave her a slight feeling of dread. The only thing that made sense to her was that they hadn't found Eden's true stronghold yet. Sure, a lot of them had been killed outside and the tank contributed greatly to that - but she still found herself expecting more. This was the group that caused Newnanites to refuse to cross an arbitrary line to avoid encounters with them - the group that Ryan had literally escaped from. "They have to be holding up somewhere..." Beatrice said quietly to Lola. They hadn't covered the entire first floor yet and her gut was telling her to expect a clump of Edenites around any corner. Or perhaps they were on a higher story, waiting to pick them off one by one from a staircase.

Jack Hudson

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: N/A

Jack and Niesha carefully entered the house together, with Jack recalling where the supplies would be hidden due to his status as a lead. It was one small comfort - when (more realistically if...) Tatiana was headed to one of the bug out points, she'd know where all of the supplies would be hidden. Other members of Newnan may not know where to look for them. He didn't relish that fact - he just took comfort in the one small aid to Tatiana's survival. He'd move heaven and earth for her if he could. "Should be undah the floor," Jack whispered to Niesha. He scanned the area quickly before pulling up the boards.

They were in luck. He found some MREs, water filters, water bottles, extended first aide kit, two bug out bags, and some sleeping bags. He pulled them all out and started passing things to Niesha, that way they could get a good idea of their inventory. Once the cache was cleared out, Jack replaced the floor boards quietly. Everything seemed pretty worn out, potentially due to age or just use, but they'd do the trick. He then heard Ash's request for a light, but they didn't have any flash lights in the inventory. Luckily, it seemed Riley was on it.

"Got a decent inventory," Jack said quietly, as he and Niesha brought the supplies they'd found over to the others.

Nancy Parker & Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Main Building, Dining Room ---> Room 104: Receiving Entrance/Hallway
Skills: None

Nancy most definitely would have volunteered to venture outside of Ville au Camp with Giouse, yet the decision had already been made. A Paradox - Bart, she recalled his name was - was selected to go with him. She and Gilbert were each left with a single Paradox a piece, with the others gravitating towards Lady Luck. Nancy smirked a bit as Evelina told her to cause havoc. She didn't really cause havoc, in her defense - it was hard to cause chaos when you yourself were chaos. "What better way to spend my birthday?" Nancy mused. She claimed All Hallows Eve as her birthday for as long as she had been conscious.

Nancy motioned for Sophia to follow her out of the room, thinking over her options. She raised an eyebrow at Sophia's question, before noticing Sophia's false arm. The Paradox wasn't standing out to her so far and she couldn't help but wonder why Sophia had chosen her. "How many types of chaos exist?" Nancy responded rhetorically. She hadn't really decided yet what she wanted to do to the visitors that evening. She could more or less cause whatever havoc she liked and the next day, the loop would reset and none of it would be remembered by the outside world. However, she did like to think of her mischief as being the lasting impression they would have - as if the loop would be broken that very night.

"What suits your fancy, Sophia?" Nancy asked. "What sort of mayhem would fill your heart with joy?"

Meanwhile, Andromeda had remained in the dining room with the others. She noticed how lopsided the arrangements had ended up being and felt a bit of surprise at it. The others had spent a lot of time with the Watch and the Hat, while she had gone off to walk with Lady Lucas. She imagined that they would have felt the most comfortable with the ones they already knew - and not the mysterious woman that could have been called the Grim Reaper. Perhaps they too were interested in the unknown, however. She smiled slightly at that thought. And then another one struck her - she adored ghost stories and had spent her life chasing them. Now, she was going to be part of one.

She couldn't help but wonder what would have happened had something she said to the visitors ended up being passed on as a tale, only for her to encounter it in the future in her life. Though she supposed there was no danger in that occurring, as she didn't remember ever getting the sense that something supernatural in the world had been caused by her own ghost sent back in time. Not that she was a ghost, of course.

Guinevere Stark

Guin raised an eyebrow at Lance. She remembered it all in perfect detail and she didn't understand why he didn't seem to - unless he meant it as a rhetorical question. Her body felt awful, though, like an intense cleanse had just been done on it. It reminded her of some of the so called therapeutic diets they forced them to adhere to in rehab. "Why don't you remember?" she asked him bluntly. "And you agreed to intern for him - as well as steal documents from your father and meet with him daily so he could keep up your control..."

"Whatever you agreed to, you aren't doing it. Period," Banner said sternly. "Agreements made under mind control won't hold up in court." He also didn't want Lance going anywhere near these people again. He knew there were sick bastards in the world, but he never wanted them to do anything to his kid. Lance was the only good thing he'd ever brought into the world and he didn't want to lose him. Lance was supposed to be his legacy.

"Hammer wanted me to build him a prototype for Project Ultron and deliver it to him - and for Lance to steal files. He's working with Kilgrave - gave him some flash drive....I remember all of it," she then explained. "It's kinda like Kilgrave couldn't control all of my mind...Like half of it went rogue against him..." She was looking a little green. Kilgrave's control was messing with her sobriety.

Guinevere Stark

Peace in our time...Peace in our time...Peace in our time...

"Since about two minutes ago," Banner told Lance quietly. He had thought it would be a full transformation, not even knowing that he could partially transform like that. He wasn't complaining, however, as it meant he only had to pick up his glasses - he didn't have to look to replace his shirt and his shoes like normal. He then looked back at Tony, thinking on it again. He glanced back at the photograph on the screen - from the distance, it seemed like they hadn't even been close to him. His eyes widened slightly as he realized how potent the pheromone had to be and he went back over to the hood, trying out another approach.

A few minutes later, Banner grinned as he gave Guin and Lance an additional drug. This one would have the compound out of their system in less than a minute. "Is there uh a special prize for beating Tony Stark at a science challenge?" Banner asked Tony with a smirk. Guin's head was already beginning to clear rapidly and the echoing words of her father faded away.

Peace in our time...Peace in our time...Peace in our time...

"Yeah, I thought the idea was to get me off drugs - not have me be some glorified lab rat," Guin pointed out. She was disappointed that the subject of Ultron had been dropped. There truthfully wasn't much she knew about the project, beyond its status as a peacekeeping initiative that somehow involved a robot. In fact, she had the most talent when it came to computers and electronics - robotics weren't exactly her area of expertise. She simply had had faith when she told Kilgrave that she could have the prototype finished in the morning.

"Hold that thought, Tony," Banner muttered. For once, he and the Hulk were on the same page. He administered the drug to both Guin and Lance, setting it down before only his head turned into the Hulk. "Son unwell! Puny Banner help son! Son be quiet!" the Hulk screamed before turning fully into Banner once more. He then looked back at Tony. "So - any ideas on how to get the time cut down any more on the flush?"

Guinevere Stark

Peace in our time...Peace in our time...Peace in our time...

"Yeah, almost as much fun as the Ultron project," Banner quipped. He walked over to the lone fume hood in medical and started to mix things together, throwing together something that he hoped would flush the drug out of their system. He wasn't certain how it would react to Lance, given the deviations in Lance's genetic makeup as compared to a baseline human. Guin complicated things as well with her history of drug abuse and Banner scratched his head. He then quickly tested the compound and he sighed. "Okay, this will cut it down to a six hour process for them to metabolize and flush out the drug..." he mumbled.

"You guys are still doing Project Ultron? Thought you shelved that," Guin said. She figured the least she could do would be to trick Banner into talking about it. She knew that once she got one of them going, the other would get started and then they wouldn't shut up about it. With more information on it, it'd be easier to deliver the working prototype and meet the deadline, even accounting for the inconvenience of being restrained in medical.

Banner just ignored her, unfortunately.

Peace in our time...Peace in our time...Peace in our time...

"No one's making me do anything - honestly, Dad, you'd think you'd know your own daughter by now..." Guin muttered. "I'm doing exactly what I want to do - or I would be, if you'd let me go to the lab. Honestly, the nurses at rehab trusted me more than you are right now..."

Banner retook the scan of Guin's brain, wanting something clean to work from. This time, he was able to get much better resolution. There were still abnormalities, but they reminded him of scans of Tony's own brain. It was likely just a consequence of the heightened activity that Starks tended to show and he didn't think much more of it. "Well, in your classic mind control plots...they usually don't want to help the good guys out..." Banner mumbled, wiping his glasses off before looking at Lance's blood work again. He didn't have an idea as to how to counter the effects, but he did manage to figure out how long they would last for.

"The effects shouldn't last for more than twenty four hours from what I can tell...Then the chemicals will be flushed from their systems naturally," Banner explained. "Just need to try to figure out a way to flush them out faster and they should go back to normal..."

Nora Kingston

Location: The Egyptian Museum - Vera's Office
Skills: Deduction, Intuition

Nora frowned slightly, jotting down in her notebook the location the coordinates indicated - the very temple they were traveling to. Had it been an old journal that she had found the coordinates in, she would not be so concerned. Yet from what she could tell, it meant they would not be alone in their travels. No, someone - or something - would be traveling to the temple site as well. Perhaps it was to steal and then hide the artifacts they wished to examine - or even to deface them as to make them unusable. Considering the deaths of those in the Fellowship, she couldn't help but wonder if physical harm would come to them at the temple site. Perhaps it was for the best that the English military was involved in this operation.

"I would be honored to have supper with you," Nora told Neema with a soft smile. She then nodded, her eyes flickering down towards her bandaged finger. It was hard to imagine the brand being there, yet she knew that if she removed the bandage, she would find it. It wasn't something that would ever leave her - it would serve as an immortal testimony to whatever events would come to pass. She was glad to hear Lady Munn and Lauren agree to attend as well, having a friendship with both of them in her mind. The response of the Lord Major was mildly surprising to her, given that he seemed to be able to do whatever he pleased so far - but she put it out of her mind. She was not well versed in the inner workings of the military.
