Guinevere Stark

"Of course this matters!" Banner snapped, before forcing himself to take a deep breath. He didn't want to Hulk out in front of Lance again that evening. He had already smashed a large building in Harlem. If he broke Harlem a third time, then he was pretty sure the citizens of Harlem would campaign for him to be thrown on a one way shuttle to Mars. Twice was already way too many times to go and smash buildings there, anyways. "This is your life, buddy. I need you to promise me that you'll be careful. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to keep a closer eye on you - like how Tony watches Guin."

Guin faltered when Tony asked why they hadn't mentioned it to them. She didn't really have a good answer for that. Her gut reaction was to just deflect it with a bunch of other problems she had with her dad, but those weren't the truth. Of course, she had a reason for why she hadn't suggested going to them - several, in fact. But would any of them get her out of trouble? She doubted it. "One, Lance kinda hates you guys. Two, you're already babying me lately because you don't trust me, so this would've just made you flip out and send me to school in Canada or something. Three, we didn't need you two to solve our problems for us...We're almost adults. We could've handled it."

Guinevere Stark, Folly Valeska, and Dean Kesseli

Location: Blackbird

Silver brat, really? He's just trying to confuse you, Folly. Why do you think he brought you here? To use you as his own personal muscle. He never cared. Better off if you just kill him now. If you kill his younger self, it's a two for one deal! Folly listened to the voice initially, until she gradually tried to tune it out, just listening to Future Pietro. She couldn't help but smile slightly, even laughing a little bit. He was incredibly silly at times and always seemed to know how to cheer up just about everyone. She had seen him calm his wife down once before when she was having a panic attack. Folly wouldn't have been surprised if he helped Thalia with her hallucinations. She once wondered if in a previous life he had been a psychologist. "Pericol periculos," she whispered back to him, nodding slightly.

Folly clammed up slightly when Future Carolina came and put a hand on her shoulder. She was already a quiet person by nature, at her most talkative when she was going mad. Future Pietro was Roma also and had become something of a brotherly figure to her. After Mary, he was the first person to not be afraid of her and reach out to her. She bit her lip, looking over towards Mary as the plane shook from the hit. She couldn't help but wonder if the voices were right - if Mary had been the one to send her to the asylum all those years ago.

Over with Allison and Lance, Dean couldn't help but look stunned. Everyone here had all of these amazing powers - and he was just really good at dodging. Sure, everyone treated him like he was a speedster but he wasn't. Insanely fast reflexes and short bursts of speed didn't really make him anywhere near Pietro Maximoff's skill level. He was pretty sure the actual actor for the Flash TV series could run faster than he could. However, Allison's details of the vision caught his attention. He remembered the mild controversy about Jakobsen being engaged to a British woman.

"Wait, Jade Cornish, right?" Dean asked, subconsciously looking over towards Guin, as if she knew everyone that was remotely famous. "Her dad is that big shot P.I. in England....I think..." His mom - well, his adopted mom - loved to text him news articles. He knew more about the presidential candidates than he would care to admit. He was pretty sure his parents were voting for Jakobsen as well - but if Allison's vision was right, he now knew why Jakobsen had always given him bad vibes. To be fair, though, who names an organization O.M.E.N. that doesn't end up becoming the villain at some point? He didn't think that you needed future sight to be able to figure that one out.

Guin couldn't get the revelation that she married Pietro in the future quite out of her head. Even as she stared at the screen and told herself that it was a glorified video game - no different or more complicated than the controls on an X-Wing - she kept on peeking glances at the speedsters. She didn't see herself ever getting married - and sure, she had envisioned being with Pietro forever and she didn't think she'd find anyone else but...marriage? She never really thought about it. Her father still hadn't married Pepper and Pepper was basically her step-mom. Marriage just seemed to be something people not in her family did.

"Now if only we had three lives to use," Guin joked, as she quickly familiarized herself with the controls and started firing off at the Sentinels on their tail. It was a little irritating with the way the plane was moving - given that it had been hit - and she was trying not to look at Pietro and mouth Enterprise to him. She'd pointed out a few weeks ago that the Enterprise really wasn't the same ship anymore, given how often it blew up and had to be repaired. "Also, whoever suggested standing by the doors with them open - you'd be ripped out of the plane by the sheer force of opening them. Ask D.B. Cooper - he's probably dead and you'd be too."

Guinevere Stark

Guin felt conflicted. On one hand, she was apparently successfully pretending to be asleep, as no one had tried to say anything to her. But on the other hand, Lance was getting chewed out for decisions both of them had made. They were getting on his case for plans that he hadn't come up with - she had. It wasn't fair that he was taking the fall for it and she did owe him, since he stayed with her on a danger night. She also hadn't forgotten what he'd done for her the night she nearly OD'ed. She owed him for that as well.

She sighed and basically picked herself up, turning to look at the two angry parents. She was pretty sure she'd regret stopping pretending to be asleep very quickly. "It was my idea - so lay off of Lance," Guin started, crossing her arms after pulling out her earbud. She had shoved the earbuds away into her pocket with her walkman. "And we weren't there on a date - which you've already figured out. Honestly, Dad, I think I might be gay or something," she added, rolling her eyes. She wasn't too sure what her sexuality was exactly, but she knew she found girls cute and she'd never really seen a guy she found cute. Well, except for the one. "As for what we were really doing - we were going to hack into Hammer's files and see what he was so butthurt about. He wanted Lance for something."

Banner sighed, not wanting to tell Lance this but he knew he had to. Lance was old enough to hear it - and he was worried that it'd end up putting him in danger - and maybe it already had. "Buddy, you gotta be careful...People will think that the secret to the Hulk is in your blood - in your DNA. They might try to take you in order to get it..."

Iris Kingston

Location: Driving to the Circus!
Skills: Perception, Photographic Memory

Iris quietly hit the button to share her ride with Agent Tinder, shooting off a quick text - Cabbie threatening murder, maybe. She would have added more information but she didn't want to look away from the driver. She switched the app back over to the map view, watching with a bit of confusion as they continued to head in the right direction. She knew that Americans often pointed out how polite her fellow British citizens were - and she couldn't help but be reminded of that. If this man meant her harm, he was being rather...cordial and candid about it.

"I cannot discuss my patients, unfortunately - I am very sorry, monsieur," Iris said calmly. There were rules and regulations that prohibited such things - ones that Iris had no intention of breaking. It was confidential information and simply claiming to be Cynthia's grandfather did not grant him access to them. However, his words did send a chill down her spine. She wasn't sure how to respond to him wondering why she hadn't been killed. Iris naively believed it was because Cynthia knew that she was a good person - that she only ever cared about helping Cynthia get better so she could one day leave the asylum.

Dorothy Pender

Location: Prometheus: Upper Deck: Single Brown (3)
Skills: None

Dorothy rose like clockwork. It was an old habit from her military days, with her body's internal clock rarely ever failing. She hadn't drunk nearly enough to have any form of hangover, though she was slightly tired. She had been playing games with the others last night, hoping to be able to have a moment alone with Daphne but it just hadn't been in the cards, so to speak. Although she had initially intended on turning in early in order to organize her things, Atticus had been playing and she decided to change her mind.

Of course, now that she was awake and saw the unpacked boxes, Dorothy set herself at putting things straight. She rose about an hour before most did on a regular basis and she managed to tidily organize her room, even setting aside a pile of books for the specific purpose of chucking at Atticus. Her face fell slightly when she realized their rooms were no longer so close together. Would they still have their book wars? She didn't know why, but she felt a bit sad at the thought of not having them anymore. Eventually, she got dressed and headed out to greet the day, determined to have a conversation with her sister. She wanted to know what Daphne's next move would be.

Maybe she'd ask her about it over breakfast - figure things out.

Fitz Townsley

Location: Prometheus: Lower Deck: Single Top (7)
Skills: None

Fitz woke up with an immense pain in his back, groaning slightly as he tried to roll over. He blinked, staring up at an unfamiliar ceiling. He hadn't really had anything to drink, so he had no problem remembering the night before. Fitz couldn't help but grin as he sifted through the memories. He was on a ship! He was really doing it! He was boldly going where no other sheltered man had gone before! Plus, he had also danced with a really pretty girl and had played board games all night. It took him a moment before he realized that his back hurt as he had spent the night sleeping on the ground. There was a blanket next to him and he was going to grab it to fight the cold, when he saw the pretty girl sleeping underneath it.

"D-d-d-did w-w-w-we?" Fitz stammered, before letting out a sigh of relief when he saw they were both fully clothed. There was a messy pile of cards not too far from them and he started to breathe normally again. Nothing had happened after they finished playing card games - he would have remembered. Once everyone else had gone to bed after playing Cluedo, he and Daphne had just stayed up talking all night. He liked Daphne, but he didn't know if he was ready for that level of intimacy with anyone just yet.

What was the protocol for this, though? Did he wait for her to wake up? He realized that she was snuggled up to him, probably for the warmth. It'd be rude if he left, wouldn't it be? He blushed furiously and tried not to think about a sleeping Daphne right next to him. There was a knock at the door and Fitz's heart fell. What if he got Daphne in even more trouble? He didn't know what to expect and he looked at the sleeping ex-pilot, really hoping she'd wake up and deal with whoever it was.

"Mei-mei? I was hopin' you'd join me for breakfast," Dorothy's voice came through the door.

Fitz's eyes widened. The Second in Command was Daphne's sister?! It was new information to him, as no one had mentioned that particular relation yet to the newcomers. He couldn't help but feel terrified. What if Daphne's sister thought he had slept with her? Was he going to get tossed into space like the Captain enjoyed threatening? "D-Daphne....H-help," Fitz whispered to her.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Westminster Bridge (Northside) ---> Nottingham
Skills:

Veliona must have answered Virginia's prayers, she concluded, as a heavy fog had protected them on their journey out of the city. She hoped that her brother would be similarly protected - as well as Millicent. Virginia did not care to have her loved ones such a great physical distance away from her. As much as she did not pretend that Millicent needed protection - she was a woman of great strength - she wanted to be able to come to her friend's aid at a moment's notice without a lengthy delay for travel. Such thoughts kept her preoccupied on their travels, with the occasional tale from the Crypt family records coming to mind as well.

She felt a bit sore and stiff after such a long ride, but she did not protest. She would have gladly slept on a bed of nails without prompting. In fact, she had some memory of her mother attempting to persuade her father to install such a bed in their own set of rooms at Wenwynith Manor. "I am sore, but it is no trouble," Virginia admitted. She did not know much about the care of animals after lengthy rides, so she was content to defer to Elizaveta and Mary's judgment. She wondered if it would be wise to send word at this point, however. Although their progress was great, she was not sure if it was yet sufficient.

Maeve Brennan

Location: Inn in Annan
Skills: Irish Sign Language, Deception

Maeve had been having a pleasant dream. Her daughter, precious Roisin, was attending the finest preparatory school for girls. The teacher sent a letter home - which Finnian had read to Maeve - indicating how Roisin was a prodigy and was beyond her peers by several years. Her deafness didn't hold Roisin back. However, she stirred and awoke to the sound of Lady Kirkpatrick screaming for tea. She was halfway awake and sleepily signed, "In a mo',", before she fully recalled her surroundings. Thankfully, no one was sharing her quarters, so no one witnessed her brief slip up. She mentally brought herself back to the role of Neasa O'Connor.

Maeve quickly dressed herself for the day and pinned her hair up. After giving birth to Roisin, she had become an expert in getting dressed and ready to go in a short period of time. It was necessary after many sleepless nights with a screaming baby that couldn't even hear her own cries - Maeve would sleep to the last possible minute and then get dressed in record time, just in order to survive. She knocked lightly on Lady Kirkpatrick's door. "I'll brin' ye yer tay in a minute, me lady," she told her in her thick Irish accent.

Truthfully, Maeve wasn't sure if Lady Sally wanted her to bring her the tea or someone else, but she had no intention of being canned by the woman - even if she was there to spy on her. Maeve made her way to the kitchen, looking to see if there was tea already available or if she'd have to make it herself. "Excuse me, Lady Kirkpatrick requires some tay," she said to anyone down there, in order to explain her presence.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Eden - Greed
Skills: Pistol, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Stamina

Beatrice cocked an eyebrow, looking as Lola and Gavin rushed in with a beautifully coordinated and well choreographed attack. Of the Edenites that had been present, those two took them out effortlessly, leaving the Justice native with relatively little to do comparatively. It was bothering her more and more how easy this all was. There had to be a reason behind it and as she headed through the hole that Lola had helped to create, she was becoming increasingly convinced that there'd be a nightmare waiting for them on a higher level.

Of course, she didn't see much of a reason to be bothered that Gavin and Lola were working as an effective unit together. There was no point to that. It would be like getting jealous that someone else had risked their lives - it wasn't any sort of way to survive. But then again, supposedly neither was storming Eden. But they were five to five, as if they were the main characters in a comic book and were protected by the readers' enthusiasm. "How many songs do you know?" Beatrice asked Lola idly, still ready for any surprise Edenites that might come their way.

Jack Hudson

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: N/A

Jack relished in the return of the command structure. With Ash giving out orders, it brought a bit of balance and order to the hectic chaos that his life had quickly become. He didn't even know if he was hungry or not, despite not really eating all day. His mind was just scattered and being told eat now. sleep there. do this. - it was actually helping him. It let him take his hand off the wheel, just slightly. He felt too frazzled to make decisions for himself. It was a miracle that he and Tiffany had managed to get there without them having more mental breakdowns and episodes.

He grabbed himself an MRE, still not even sure if he wanted to eat, before he sat down with the others. "Guess I've got fou'th," he grunted a bit. He would have wanted to volunteer to go earlier, but he really must have been tired, as he was a moment too late. He didn't even know if Niesha should be put into the watch rotation, as she just looked beat and had already passed out. His heart skipped a beat as he heard the static crackling on Ash's radio, along with a voice trying to get through. Could it have been Tatiana?! As thrilled as he was to hear another person out there, his hopes were soaring and if it wasn't Tatiana on the other end, they'd be crushed instantly. He was standing on the edge between happiness and despair. He stared at Ash and the radio, his heart pounding.

"Someone else made it..." he whispered. He then listened as the names were ticked off and as much as he was happy for everyone else, he died a little on the inside. Tatiana's name hadn't been on the list. He looked down at the floor, not saying much of anything.

Nancy Parker

Location: Ville au Camp - Room 104: Receiving Entrance/Hallway
Skills: None

An idea popped into Nancy's mind and she couldn't help but cackle. Oh yes, there was indeed something they could do with Sophia's hand. It was a slight variation on something Nancy herself had once done to get out of a tight situation. Of course, a missing hand was far more theatrical than a scar was. "Inspired, Sophia," Nancy said with a grin, warming up slightly to the Paradox. She had to imagine that they could get the supplies they needed from the Hat. And if not, they could make do with whatever they could find on the grounds.

"How skilled are you at acting?" Nancy then asked, tapping her foot a bit as she thought. She was imagining the two of them coming out from the bushes to startle a group. They'd pretend to be locked in mortal combat, with a deadly duel. And then, as part of the climax, Nancy would "chop" off Sophia's hand. They could even find something that would pass convincingly for blood. She supposed they could have gone with Sophia's suggestion as well - ooh, or why not combine the two? She could then play dead, act as if Sophia had killed her - it wouldn't have been the first time - and then "rise" from the grave to startle the witnesses.

She couldn't help but be disappointed that Giouse wasn't there for these antics.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Main Building, Dining Room ---> Gate at Edge of Grounds
Skills: None

Andromeda nodded as Lady Luck explained the ground rules for how this evening would work. As she mentioned that the other female Emendator - Nancy - was going to act as a trickster that evening, Andromeda couldn't help but think back to Lady Luck's confession that she had been the famed Dido. Andromeda doubted that Lady Luck would be the only Emendator with a double identity and she couldn't help but try to think of historical tricksters that appeared to be a young woman. Of course, she was also pondering what stories she'd tell. So much had happened to her in her last few hours of life - and so much of it, from her perspective, was still unresolved.

The costumes didn't unnerve Andromeda as much as they perhaps should have. She had seen many terrifying things in her lifetime, as well as having seen hundreds of old photographs of children on Halloween. There was even one on the wall in the small museum she had run back in her home town of Coventry. However, she did feel a touch of sadness as Evelina mentioned scaring away demons. A demon had killed her father, after all.

She crouched down and gave the kid a slight smile. She normally hated people making comments about her skin and her hair - her mother was albino. Big deal. Yet her thoughts echoed Lady Luck's when they came to children - their minds were open and they had a certain innocence, driven by a curiosity that arguably had caused Andromeda to run towards her own death. "Yes, she's right," Andromeda said softly, referring to Evelina's own conformation. "My name's Andromeda," she then added. "Do you like stories?"

Guinevere Stark

Guin woke up to hearing Lance and Tony go on about her supposed alcoholism. She blinked her eyes open and then almost instantly closed them again, deciding to pretend to still be sleeping. There wasn't really anything she could say to her father that would deescalate the situation that was about the develop. The very least she could do was run by her problems by effectively playing possum. It wasn't like she had actually drank anything anyways - she was doing pretty well, sobriety wise. No one may have believed it, but she hadn't had a drop since she was sent to rehab.

"Let the Avengers handle this, buddy - it's our job," Banner insisted. He smiled slightly at Lance controlling the light, glad to see he had gotten used to his powers finally - but he didn't know how exactly to voice that. He wasn't a very talkative person and neither was Lance, meaning that conversations between them were weird to say the least. "And you get what you did was wrong, right? Sneaking out when a madman is trying to control you? You're smarter than that, buddy."

Guinevere Stark

"Probably another twenty minutes," Guin replied, knowing that they had gone off to look for Daredevil. From what she remembered, the costumed crusader was only active at night. She let out another yawn and inched closer to Lance, resting her head on his shoulder. As much as she wanted to stay awake to watch the sunrise with him, she found her eyes fluttering closed. She was incredibly exhausted and she muttered something incoherent to Lance, before she fell asleep leaning on him. Her walkman was still playing songs and as the sun finally rose in the sky, the song that came on was especially appropriate.

She was still fast asleep as two individuals landed on the roof. In fact, she had began to mumble things slightly. Most of it was hard to pick out - but one phrase was rather clear. "...Don't leave me..."

Banner walked over to Guin and Lance rather quickly, doing his best to keep his temper in. When he and Tony had returned to Stark Tower, with a complete plan in mind, they had found the kids gone. No note, no explanation - nothing! And this was just hours after a convicted criminal had used his mind control abilities on them. To say it had given Banner a small panic attack to find Lance gone was an understatement. It was a small blessing that Tony tracked Guin wherever she went. "Hey buddy - you wanna explain yourself?"
