Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

Fendros looked forward and squinted his eyes slightly in thought, then responded slowly. "I think I would find a way to accept it if that happened." Despite Fendros' reassurance, the more he thought about having a horse-sized quadruped as a child, the less comfortable he felt about it. Perhaps now, when they were this close, he was able to imagine just how difficult it would be to relate to it. He decided that it wouldn't be useful to speculate on such things of which he had little to no knowledge and put the thought to the back of his mind. In his thoughts, Fendros didn't realise that he had let his expression become slightly worried and suddenly smiled again to dismiss it. "In any case, it's in the hands of fate now."

As his smile faded again, Fendros thought momentarily about gathering his belongings to get ready to move. However, being tired as he was and how nice it was to be close to Ahnasha despite the humid heat, he decided to stay around for longer and closed his eyes. If Kaleeth wasn't back yet, there was no point in rushing to leave. It was barely a few moments before Fendros found something else to worry about. "You mentioned that multiple births are common with Khajiit. How common exactly?" He wasn't too worried about this particular thought at this stage, but he was still curious. Meesei probably would have detected if there were twins by now anyway.
I think half a million yen would still be a little steep for a games console. Unless they're that awesome in this universe, of course.
"For now, I'm just glad that you're safe," Fendros said, relieved to hear that the night went by without incident. He sat himself down next to Ahnasha as directed, put an arm around her and leaned his head against hers, showing the fatigue in both of them. As Ahnasha spoke about the variety of Khajiit they would expect, Fendros put his free hand over her stomach and waited to see if he could feel a kick. "All we can to is try to get to Stormhold as quickly as possible. We will probably have to get a midwife straight to you rather than get taught anything." Fendros took a short breath and his time became a little more optimistic, "Barring that, well, it's not as if there's no hope. We have supplies and magic enough that the chances of anything going wrong will be...lower, at least."

Fendros felt a nudge from Ahnasha's stomach and he smiled. He turned his head slightly towards Ahnasha's face and took on a less serious tone. "You know, all this time, I can't remember if I ever asked you. Would you rather raise a Senche, Cathay, or Cathay-raht? I don't mind, but that's because it's all different to me, I'm a Dunmer. But what about you?"
The trip back to camp seemed to go by quickly. Perhaps it was because Fendros was too tired to be any more worried, or perhaps because his beast spirit had been feeding his anxiety all along. That wasn't to say he was no longer worried. When Ahnasha came into view, he breathed a sigh of relief to see that she was safe. To add to it, she had not given birth yet. He jogged ahead of the hunting party and approached Ahnasha and Meesei. "Good morning. How was the night? Was there any trouble?"

When Janius reached the camp with the others, he scratched his head looked around briefly. Kaleeth wasn't back yet. Well, given how early she left last night, she probably has an hour or more of distance from the camp. It would just be a matter of waiting for her. Still, the sooner she found her way back, the better. The pack needed to get to Stormhold as quickly as possible.
Shiva had hoped to get in some more small talk before the meeting, hoping to get a better angle on the third rothian in their team, Telmeck. He too didn't engage them much, but that was because he simply didn't seem to be around as frequently. Unfortunately, time had already seemed to whip by and an official came to escort them all.

The entire group was brought to a large board room. It wasn't quite as extravagant as other rooms in the building, but it was still squeaky clean. It had a nice view as well. Shiva picked a seat without much heed, as they were all pretty similar. Once she worked out how the adjustment levers worked, she was able to sit comfortably. By coincidence, as soon as Shiva had set her chair to a comfortable configuration, the group was joined by four more individuals. Shiva didn't immediately recognise any of them, but they had an air of importance about them. The sovereignty suits among the four were very high ranking, Shiva could tell that much. They too had dress uniforms on. Damn.

...Actually, the faces of the tempu and masulu were somewhat familiar, but Shiva couldn't exactly place where she had seen them before. Were they ambassadors, or representatives, or something? Some sort of minister or chief of something or another. Shiva knew she had seen them both making public statements in the news before.

August, being a mercenary, was the first to ask about pay. Shiva's inner Sovereign citizen gave a slight cringe to this, but she understood that it was a livelihood they followed. It wasn't as if Shiva had ever known what it was like to own property. Everything she had, save for a few trinkets, were Sovereignty property. The only money she was ever given was a capped allowance, restricted to an upper limit. She was a convict, not an employee. It would be nice if a perk of this assignment included a real salary, but she doubted that the Sovereignty would have glossed over that.

As for any questions Shiva wanted to ask, she opted to wait until after the briefing. She expected most of the information she wanted would be given before her asking anyway.
Wrap up your conversation, head up to the meeting room in some form or fashion, and describe your initial reaction to being in this board room and such. It'll be good for a paragraph at least.

The point is, we need everyone in the meeting now.
Oi, other people. Put your posting pants back on!
Unless some turn of events leads to one of my characters turning up in the scene, I'll say write it all up. The hunt won't be much of anything new as far as I can see.

Have fun with Destiny! Unfortunately, I am limited to the PC master race. Curse these cool looking, Thrice-damned console exclusives... :P
Fendros bid that Ahnasha remain strong, as she always was, then reluctantly went to follow Lorag into the swamp with the others. It was only the four of them tonight, but they would be able to hunt well enough. Fendros and Janius stayed quiet for their own reasons, while Sabine was quiet because, well, she was Sabine. When they got to the spot upon which they would transform, Fendros was at first surprised that Lorag was transforming without himself being forced yet, but that thought was soon ended as he convulsed and warped with the rising moons. Once he finished transforming, Fendros stood up and readied himself to hunt. Just as all full moons he wanted to do little but hunt. However, something was different. It took Fendros by surprise, but his own worry for Ahnasha seemed not so much to be influencing his beast spirit as being reflected by it. A greater than normal portion of himself wished to go back and protect Ahnasha. For now though, there was hunting to be done. One look at the dominant pack member among them in Lorag was enough to focus his mind again.

Unlike Fendros, Janius didn't feel that extra worry from his beast spirit, if only because the protecting instinct didn't resonate with it enough in regards to Kaleeth. All he could do was regrettably let his beast spirit hunt and stay aware.
Fendros nodded to Meesei. If anything, she was objectively the most appropriate pack member to stay behind and help Ahnasha. She was not only a powerful magical healer, but was also quite capable of protecting Ahnasha from danger. It wasn't as if Fendros knew much about delivering children either. "Thank you Meesei. This means a lot." Fendros looked at the ring and part of him wished he had one for tonight as well, but all he could do was leave and hope. He looked into Ahnasha's eyes again. "Is there anything else you need?" Fendros asked, then let out a small chuckle as he though of at least something to give levity, "Anything you want me to catch and bring back for you?"

"Right, I will see you soon." Janius returned Kaleeth's hug and held onto her for longer than was necessary. Even past his expressions he couldn't guarantee that things would go well. He placed a kiss on her cheek before pulling away, letting his hands slide from hers as they separated. "Go well, Kaleeth," He said to her with a smile as he watched her leave. With a sigh, his smile faded and he made his way to Lorag. He had already wished his best to Ahnasha and Meesei, so now all there was to do was wait for the moons.
