Elena turned around when she heard the door to the hangar open watching Dr. Lawson making his way towards her, or rather towards the R-547 and completely ignoring her. "Well nice to meet you as well Doc." Elena said sarcastically and followed behind him hearing him turning on switches and other buttons. Then she quickly caught the flight jacket he had tossed her, like anything from the military clothing weren't all that fashionable. Elena sighed and started to put the flight jacket on and adjusted it slightly before climbing up the ladder when Lawson motioned her up.

The cockpit reminded her of an F-302 just with a few extra buttons and switches, she read some of the specs of the R-547 before the mission and knew the basic systems but decided to let the doctor explain anyway. When he was done Elena quickly pulled herself into the cockpit and closed the canopy, since the systems were already powered up she watched Dr. Lawson leaving the hangar and waved goodbye hearing General Black's voice again and replied. "Got it General ready to leave, and make sure you tell Doc Lawson that i'll bring his daughter back before midnight without a scratch." Elena reached for the helmet and quickly sets it over her head. "Recon 1 leaving the hangar now." She said as she used the controls and quickly pulled out of the hangar pressing the emissions button and the cloak as well. "Cloak and emissions are good, and ready to receive coordinates."

Heroes Reborn

Elena Reese

Four Days Ago, Elena's Apartment, Los Angeles, California.

When Blaire mentioned about the Bennet Act going into effect very soon she nodded slowly knowing what it would actually mean for her if the events of today didn't happen, she would easily be tracked down much quicker by who knows what. "Yeah I've read all I could from the internet, taking blood samples from schools, workers, and anywhere else." Elena said as she started to pace around the room running a hand through her hair as the lights and other electrical equipment started to flash and flicker and turning themselves on and off. She still needed to focus on calming herself down, she started to think of a place where to go.

"I uh know a place a few friends and I used it for our summer vacation last year, its over in Big Bear Lake about an hour or two away from here." Elena said and sighed softly trying to calm herself down some more. Looking at Blaire once more thinking of things she could do, she had around fifteen thousand dollars saved up in her bank she could pull it all out. "Give me an hour, i'm going to go to an ATM and buy some stuff." Elena quickly ran out of her apartment luckily classes were still in and she went to the nearest ATM pulling out all the money she had in her card and ran to the closest minimart to grab some other supplies.

Four Days Later. Big Bear Lake, California.

It had been four days since the high school massacre and Elena and Blaire were at a small cabin near Big Bear Lake about an hour away from Los Angeles, it was the farthest she could think of and during the school year the camp grounds were usually had very few people around. Elena used the money she had pulled out to buy the small cabin luckily there was still cable and internet that way they could still listen to the news. She came out of the bathroom her hair dyed blonde since the rest of the world would easily notice her and just to try and keep a low profile, letting out a sigh Elena sat down on the couch looking around the cabin. Blaire had gone out to get some food and water, she was cooped up in the cabin for the past three days.

Elena took the TV remote and turned the TV listening to the news, there was a female news reporter in front of a hospital where they were giving out some of the blood tests which was demanded by the Bennet Act. Then it showed the story of her again though with details, even revealing her name and told the viewers to call the authorities if they did see her in the area. Quickly Elena turned off the tv and walked over to the fridge and grabbed herself a cold bottle of water. She never thought that she would ever be on the run from the government just for saving some people.

Noah Bennet:

Noah Bennet was in LA traffic on his way to the airport back to Austin when he heard his phone going off, he pressed a button so that he could talk while driving and Peter's voice was playing through the speakers. "Sorry to hear about that girl getting caught, theres nothing you could have done. We will find a way to get her out. But for now you must not get caught by them." Noah said as he passed a car making his way to LAX. A few minutes he was at the terminal to get into the airport. "The investigation isn't going that well at the moment, we did get her name an Elena Reese a college student and Glendale." Noah said as he got out of the car and pulled his things out from the trunk. "Though one of my contacts did get into her apartment, turns out she isn't alone either she is friends with another evolved. From what my contact said she had the ability to shrink and make things big."

Noah grabbed his phone and headed into the airport. "Sounds like a good idea, i'll meet you guys there i'm heading back to Austin now. And Peter be careful i'll see you in a few hours." Noah hung up and then called Jennifer waiting for her to answer.
