Ability: Metempsionic, Melanie as the ability to transfer her consciousness into another person's body, leaving her body in a coma like state. She can also memorize the skills and memories from the person that she is controlling however this ability does not work on other Evo's.
Personality: Melanie or Mel as she is preferred to be called by her closest friends is seen as mostly as a sarcastic person, always the one to make a smartass or witty comment or a few snide comments to those she does not like. Though Melanie does have a good heart and is a very loving and caring person to those she is closest to, and she is very protective over her friends. Melanie is also the friend who will be there for them and will try and do whatever it takes to cheer them up.
Background: Melanie was originally born in New York City to her father William West who works as a college professor and her mother Vera West who is now the current senator of New York. Growing up Melanie was never really close to her parents her mother in particular Melanie was always very smart in school, however she had a passion for both singing as well as acting and wanted to pursue that as her career. However both of her parents never liked that idea and wanted her to go for another career. Then her ability emerged when she was dating a boy in her class, when she made hand contact with him Melanie saw her own body in front of her and when she looked in the mirror she could see that she was in control of her boyfriend's body.
When she touched him again she was back in her own body though she also had some of his memories and saw that he was cheating on her and dumped him shortly after that day. Melanie wanted to tell her family though she knew her mother's stance on Evo's shortly after Claire had revealed their kind to the rest of the world, she also caught the eye of Noah Bennet and worked with him for awhile. Melanie then went to college for both music as well as acting when she finally graduated Melanie packed up and moved out to LA where she shortly after that got a role in a movie. Which sky rocketed her movie career and since then she has been in a few shows as well as movies and has a few albums out as well.
