The Smith Sisters

Maria looked over across the street while the others were getting themselves ready and suited up to clean up Newnan she noticed Zoie one of the new people that was recruited from the run earlier she saw her holding a bag. Maria could see her jerry rigging something together, and watched the southern woman as she started to make a homemade bomb of sorts, once Zoie had finished it Maria watched her tossing it into the air. Then several seconds later there was a rather loud bang, it was their chance to distract the walkers, as Zoie started to open up on them once she had tossed the flamethrower away. Maria quickly reached for the radio as she started to see some people making a break towards the armory. "Ashton, i'm heading over towards you to help out I see several others making their way towards the armory just a heads up." Maria said.

Maria looked towards James for a moment. "I'm gonna go help out, just watch my back." Maria said as she slung her bow over her shoulder and gave him a pat on the back. Maria gave him a quick smile as she quickly headed down the ladder from the watch tower back down to the room down below. Maria reached over towards her M-16 she had taken earlier on the run that they had never gotten around to, she checked the ammo on it and made sure that it was in working order.

Kristina heard the explosion going off, and quickly made her way towards the door seeing her sister was getting her rifle ready. "Mar, whats going on?" Kris asked as she made her way towards the window to see the hoard of walkers approaching what looked like a bonfire going off. Maria took off her quiver and checked her arrows she only had three left before turning her attention towards her younger sister, she thought about telling her what happened to Lorna but right now wasn't the best time to mention it. "I'm going to go help outside." Maria said as she eyed Dick from within the infirmary and glared at him, she wasn't comfortable leaving her sister alone with him.

"Well let me go with you then, strength in numbers right?" Kris said, feeling a hand gently resting on her shoulder and looked up at her Maria slowly shook her head. "No I need you here and hold down the fort here. Sidd back there would need your help, we have people coming here and he knows some of them just close the door behind me okay?" Maria asked Kristina looked up at her older sister for a moment she wanted to be more useful then sitting around and do nothing in here. "Alright..." Kristina said reluctantly as they both made their way towards the gated door.

Already Maria could see at least two that she didn't recognize, they both quickly opened the gate and the door and fired two quick bursts from her M-16 sending the two Edenians to the ground. She quickly turned around and hugged Kris one last time looking down at her. "I'll be back soon alright?" Kristina nodded slowly as she backed up and closed the gates behind her.

Maria turned around she looked around luckily the walkers were still distracted by the Zoie bombs, she quickly made a run straight across the street and towards the truck. She looked down at Lorna's body and kneeled down in front of her, she quickly took Lorna's dog tags off of her neck and gently kissed Lorna's body on the forehead. "I wish I could have protected you.." Maria said quietly as she took off her leather jacket and laid it over her friend's upper body and made her run towards the armory.

Kristina watched through the window she couldn't see what her sister was doing, she quickly turned around and ran into the armory and looked towards Sidd. "Yo Siddy, we are gonna have some company. I don't know anyone here and need your help to let people in or not." Kris said and turned to look at Victor. "You might be having some more patients." Kristina said as she quickly headed towards the main room once more to wait for Sidd.

Personality: Caesar is a frightening man, the likes of which should only be allowed around polite folk in dire emergencies. If he's anywhere in public, the shit has officially hit the fan and it's best to duck and cover before you get any on you. Or through you. Or ripped out of you. Did I mention that he's a very frightening man? 

He does have a soft side, or more accurately, a less hard side - he is loyal, protective, and actually a good, decent man. His "Boondock Santos" mentality drives him to "destroy that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish". Another bit; he has a daughter. Caesar simultaneously is overprotective and fully confident in her ability to kick much ass and take many names. 

El Jefe is obsessively driven to complete any task of worth to which he sets himself, particularly if it involves tequila or gratuitous violence. He is the confident alpha-male who strolls through life, scarred and tattooed, accumulating horrifying stories of bloodshed and turmoil while carving more and more notches into his proverbial bedpost. This may explain why he is attracted to twisted women. 

Caesar Gonzalez, if I have not mentioned previously, is a very frightening man.

History


What Brings You To The City:
Caesar’s company, Machete Security Solutions, is in the process of expanding farther into California markets. A bit more grassroots than his usual national or international business practices, but the fact remains that he cannot maintain optimal information networking, nor provide adequate cover for operations (legitimate or illegitimate) without multiple contracts and holdings in multiple locations worldwide. The stable income for the company is a welcome addition, as well. 

His daughter, Alicia, made initial contact, owing to her (optionally) less abrasive social skills. She has done excellent work, setting up shop for the past year as he remained in their last holding in Seattle. Caesar followed six months after, procured temporary housing, and is considering the move the proper venue for a well earned, long term sabbatical. And make life interesting for his daughter. 

Hoping to keep a relatively low profile, he did not arrive in force, appearing to most as a more mature version of himself from decades past. 

Life Before You Moved In:
Much of Caesar's history has been redacted, owing to the classified nature of his work. What is known about him, in fact and unconfirmed rumor, can be summed up thusly:

Ceasar Hannibal Gonzalez began his career as an officer of the Policia Judicial Federal. He racked up a hell of a reputation, ascending the ranks quickly because of his brutal but effective methodology in dealing with people deemed untouchable or above the law. Eventually, he became a Commandant, training many under him to work as an intimidating, result producing unit. 

This continued for quite some time, until he was approached by a cartel. Caesar refused to be bribed off like so many other Federale Agents and Commanders. Instead, he went to war. (Insert blood, blood, more blood, carnage, betrayal, drugs, money, yet more blood, betrayal, lots of explosions, and multiple limb removal, etc.) 

Disgusted by the whole situation, Caesar retired from the Mexican Federal Police. In his opinion, it was too corrupted by the drug cartels to be useful to its people anymore, a hypocritical organization feeding upon itself. Instead, he emigrated to the United States to work with the DEA (and occasionally FBI/CIA), taking on jobs they deemed too dangerous to send in one of their own, or to have plausible deniability of their involvement. These people, though assholes in their own right, seemed to actually be interested in doing harm to the cartels. And it sated his desire for violence. He remained a part-time government asset, based out of San Antonio, Texas. 

In this time, he married a Senorita Maria Santiago. They had a baby girl, Alicia. Very shortly thereafter, he liquidated his holdings and founded Machete Security Solutions, a private security firm made up of former military, law enforcement, retired Federal agents, and the like. He even trained a cadre of his own men from scratch, including his little Alicia, to act as his go-to people. They took contracts in many global hotspots, took jobs with corporate security, bodyguarding, and the like, including some unofficial and grey market contracts with various government agencies. 

Caesar spread his badassery worldfuckingwide. 

He moved his family and his business away from the desert and into the foothills of Appalachia; Chattanooga, TN. The proper infrastructure was in place, land was relatively cheap, not too close and not too far away from first-strike targets if the shit really hit the fan. He put his girl into college, despite much bitching from her end. Business ran well, clandestine and above board. He even sought professional help for his mindnumbing anger issues; his therapist recommended taking up bird watching as a means to channel his more aggressive energies into something more relaxing. Shortly after, the good doctor took his own life. The official coroner's report listed cause of death as: "Lobotomy via Garden Weasel, Self Inflicted". There was some professional disagreement concerning the findings. 

Caesar kept the books, and actually got around to watching birds.

Life Since You Moved In:
Since moving in, Caesar has admittedly looked into the professional assets in play in Justice, CA. This is mostly as a hobby than a true pursuance. He trusts his daughter’s experience and judgment, no matter what he may let on. No, it is more accurate to say that he wishes to keep a physical presence near new acquisitions and keep abreast of the latest changes to his company and the industry. Alicia is the future of Machete Security Solutions. Unless an active operation is in play, or some old-school violence is necessary, Caesar is content to allow her, and her associate, Lorna, to handle day-to-day activities of the company. His biggest responsibility is approving financial allotments. 

As he is technically on sabbatical, Caesar spends most of his time figuring out how to best get into trouble next. Much of that trouble revolves around meddling in Alicia’s life, whether she is aware of it or not. And drinking. And fighting. And generally enjoying what Justice, California has to offer.

History

What Brings You To The City: Alicia was put in charge of operations for her fathers company some time ago and they are now branching out to the west coast. After setting up a division in Seattle she packed her bags and went onto her next assignment - Justice California. She has been there close to a year now and is enjoying the sun and fun. Until something happens she is very content just working here. 

Life Before You Moved In: Life for Alicia was anything but typical growing up. While most little girls were being given Barbie Dolls and Rainbow Brite figures; her father gave her knives, cherry bombs, and combat boots. Granted her mother tried to girl things up, a lot of pink but it didn't do much good. Alicia was the daughter and only child of a man that was a walking stereo type for the Federale back in Mexico. Something he never really lost after coming to the states. As far as she was concerned her father was a god among men and there was no changing her opinion on the matter. 

	Despite protests from Mama, Alicia was tagging along with her father during breaks from school all over the world from the time she could walk and learning the security profession. She recalls hearing her parents bickering one night about how it was too dangerous for her to be going out with him. Her Papi said something along the lines of "Death knows better than to fuck with my Mi'ja" - that was the end of that. Alicia took pride in what her father said, he was a god in her mind and while he was hard and cold to most to her he was just a big teddy bear and her best friend. He was nothing but fluff and cuddles and doted over her every want. 

	Even with all the traveling, Alicia did well in school and had a group of close friends. There were basically an anti-gang squad of their own making. While the idea behind the group was a good one, her methods were perhaps not so Soccer Mom friendly - getting into a lot of fights and things usually ending in a very bloody manner. Alicia would try talking first but some people just do not listen and things would get heated. She ended up spending time in juvi for bashing a guys head in with a lead pipe when a fight broke out after he refused to stop selling drugs on her turf. The manslaughter charges were eventually dropped and her record was stripped clean - She suspects Papi had something to do with that. 

	Once she graduated high school she was ready to join her father full time but for once her father was having none of that. Wanting better for his daughter than he had when he was her age. She ended up at the University of Maryland and fours years of High Born East Coast education later she graduated with honors; the first in her family to even attend college. Yet even with all the education under her belt now and a proud family standing behind her ready to see what she would do with her life she still ended up with her papi working as his right hand. Education be damned, she was not about to sit behind a desk the rest of her life dealing with idiots who couldn't understand that they really shouldn't open the attachment file in the email from Bigger Endowments R US!

	Since then she has been working with her father, helping to upgrade the procedures and computers of the company and bring them into the new age. The company still uses old school tactics but having some younger newer blood in the mix has livened the place up and has garnered even more business. Branches are slowly being open here and there and Alicia is loving it.

Life Since You Moved In: The last year has been nothing but grins and giggles for Alicia. She moved into an old style brown stone, set up another branch for her father and even has made some contacts in town - things are looking better than ever and she cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds - especially since she feels she is holding all the cards.
