Madalyne kept avoiding eyecontact with the two gorgons who were slowly walking down the aisle of the train car, they weren't at their part yet which was good that would give them time. Madalyne waved her hands quickly as three pairs of reflective sunglasses appeared on the table, she was glad that they weren't those hand held mirrors that people usually use when applying makeup. "The reflective mirrors on the glasses might work no guarantees though." Madalyn whispered to her two friends.

She went and focused on the mist now, but the mist didn't want to work with her this time letting out a slight groan looking at Nancy and Niah and shrugged slightly. "Tried the chimera trick earlier it isn't working." Madalyne said, reaching for the hilt of her sword just in case. "We could get off the train, but it'll make traveling longer."

Kristin looked over her shoulder as baby Hercules tried to gnaw on Zeke's headphones and seeing his reaction started to make her laugh a little bit. "Looks like baby Hercules is on my side, oh and karma is also a bitch." Kristin said to Zeke as she leaned back a little bit, they lost a bit of time while dealing with the car crash which wasn't really anyones fault they could have contacted Chiron during their next stop. The music wasn't really something that Kristin enjoyed as she preferred something different, but Hercules was pretty content for the most part as well which was good.

Leda's compass would eventually lead them to an RV park just outside of Atlanta Georgia, she looked around for a little bit the area seemed to be a good spot to rest for the night. Hercules woke up, and started to cry rather loudly as Kristin took a moment, and covered her nose. "Ewww someone took a huge shit." Kristin said she looked at Leda and Zeke for a moment. "I'm totally not cleaning his diaper." Kristin said she'd rather set up camp than clean a baby cyclops' diaper.

Goal of RP: To search for Baldur and bring him back to Valhalla while also preventing those who want to start Ragnarök from happening and destroying the Nine Realms.

Premise:



Whelp you've died the last thing you remember after dying is seeing someone grabbing you from your body and then flying away. Or you've been dead for a really long time now, doesn't really matter you died. The next thing you know you are just now waking up in the middle of a hotel lobby where you are greeted by Hunding and Helgi. Where they inform you that you have been chosen to become an einherji for Odin's eternal army where you would stay in service until Ragnarök happens.

You are lead up to your room on one of the thousands of floors in Hotel Valhalla, once you are settled in your room, you are permitted to explore the hotel and go anywhere you see fit. One thing though you are never allowed to leave without special permission. You head to the Feast Hall of the Slain, for dinner, meeting your new einherjar brothers and sisters. The tree Læraðr standing in the center of the massive room, during the daily feast however the Three Norns come with an ominous message.

'A god, long thought dead,
must be found, and brought back,
a child of the god of light must find him
to prevent those who want him dead.'

Rules

*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.
  • Applications:
    • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
    • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
    • Choose a faceclaim for your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images - not drawings.
    • The GM can refuse a concept for any reason, yet will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
    • Talk to the GM if you want your character to have established connections (i.e. if this were a Harry Potter RP and you wanted to be Fudge's goddaughter, talk to the GM in advance for approval).
    • GM approved character sheets should be posted in a hider in the Char tab.
    • The GM will check posting history / previous RPs - you've been warned.
    • Once CS's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
    • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.
    • Special - To New Comers To The Guild - Pm The Gm for a tid bit to add under extras instead
  • Post Content
    • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
    • Nudity needs to be run by the GM before posting. In general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
    • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
    • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
  • Posting & General Behavior
    • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
    • If you need an extension or you're struggling - or even if you just aren't certain what to do - please reach out to the GM! Communication is key.
    • All posts are backed up on the back up forum after they have been posted - the GM will provide the link for this forum. It only takes a few seconds and it ensures all your hard work is preserved!
    • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.
    • If you need an extension, ask!! Extensions should be requested no matter than when your last post reads as 6 days ago. If an emergency comes up on day 7, of course come and talk to us - we'll be more than happy to work something out. It's very rare that an extension request is denied.
    • You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.
    • Minimal 2 posts between your last
    • No editing posts without GM approval.
    • Each post should include two well developed paragraphs (please don't make me define how many sentences are in a paragraph. If they're long sentences, then sure 5 is fine - if they're shorter, maybe 15 is best).
    • Read all posts! Seriously, people are reading yours so spread the love and read theirs!
    • No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.
  • Other:
    • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
    • The GM reserves the right to make decisions as to how much additional time, if any, will be granted to post if the forum is glitching. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two. But usually, I do tend to be pretty generous about it...
    • Rules and character sheet will be added to and changed as need be depending on problems or points that come up.
    • Under Extras in the CS also mention either Aesir, or Vanir so I know you at least skimmed this...

Premise:



It has been two months since the rescue of Baldur happened who had thought to have been long since dead thousands of years ago. And Ragnarok being postponed once more thanks to the efforts of Runa, Nadia, Klara, Arnora Astrid as well as Lara. Nothing majorly huge happened in the Hotel other than the usual murder and then being brought back to life hours later and all of it happening over again.

Sometime during the evening of September 14th however Helgi the Hotel's manager and Hunding seemed to have a very heated argument of some kind with Hunding leaving Helgi's office. Several hours later an Einherjar went in to check only to see that Helgi had been killed. Though someone dying in the hotel all the time wasn't an uncommon thing at all. But by midday on September 15th Helgi hadn't returned at all, and those who had been killed weren't resurrected either throwing Valhalla into chaos. Some people reporting seeing Loki occasionally roaming the halls as well to. It is up to a small group of Einherjar to try and find out what is going on and prevent anyone else from dying.
