@Scrawl Banditta you're alright. Just be aware that we're all supposed to be starting at the Sunspire Mountains, so make sure Eira's there by the next round of posts. Also I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but you seem to have repeated a few things in the first half of your post. Nothing wrong with it, just pointing it out in case you weren't aware.

@Byte yes, we'll be starting off with our respective squad leaders. To be clear, Jinan's group is already at the Sunspire Mountains. Ideally Caleb's group will also be there, though whether it's in the same area or a different part of the montains, I'll leave it up to @Bacon to decide.

And yes, the teams are also newly formed. I'll leave it up to each person to decide how fanimiliar their character is with the others.

Some things to take into consideration might be how long they've been in the Alliance - which itself was recently formed (say less than a year) - how long they've been a dragon rider, whether they're from the same nation, if they've got some kind of a reputation, etc.

I can imagine a few mages from Norsinia being former students of Psyker's character Drugram for example. Or perhaps Caelis might have been the very mage to have treated Caleb's wounds. Again though, it's all up to you guys.

Also I've been informed that Synonym will no longer be participating, but there is someone else who might be joining as well. With that said though, they'll be last in the turn order if I approve their character, so feel free to post at anytime @Byte. No 3 day time limit for now, we'll start when you start.

Edit: In case anyone's confused by @Scrawl Banditta's character sheet for Eira, please don't mind it. We've sorted it out through pm and I've told her she doesn't have to update it in the characters thread so long as she remembers what we discussed. Assume Eira is a fresh face to all.

Also we're still waiting for @EtherealThorn to finish her character sheet, so we haven't started yet. That said though, perhaps it's been long enough so I'll give it 1 more day until we begin. Hopefully Ethereal will have her character ready by the time it's her turn.

I imagine we're all eager to get started so to help us hit the ground running, I was thinking of laying out the turn order as well as some rules that hopefully everyone will find agreeable.

So for the first round of posts, the turn order will be this:

For the sake of cohesion, I decided to have Jinan's group go first followed by Caleb's. Since I and @Zman have already posted (turns out you can't delete posts on this site), we won't post again til everyone else has and then it's rinse and repeat. I'll set up a running list somewhere.

This turn order is by no means fixed and you can choose to skip or delay your turn, or be placed somewhere else in the order altogether. Just let me know either through pm or shout it out here and we can sort things out together.

Now for the rules.

#1. Respect the site rules.
#2. Don't post if it's not your turn, unless you have express permission from me or the person who is currently next to post.
#3. If it is your turn, you will have 3 days to post. If you do not post within this time, your turn will be delayed or skipped altogether (depending on circumstances) so the next person can post.
#4. No one liners.

@EtherealThorn no worries, it should give us enough time to get things organized. Speaking of which, do you have a preferred option for which squad leader your character will be following? If not, I'll just pick for you.

@Zman a sound choice if I do say so myself (totally not biased 😆).

Alright, so we'll have 2 newly minted squad leaders. One of em will be my character Jinan, recently promoted by dint of seniority within the ranks, and the other will be @Bacon's character Caleb, fast tracked coz noble but also coz he survived an attack led by a member of the Crimson bloody Wings. That's just a step behind being attacked by the Emperor himself, so definitely worthy of respect.

Who would like to go with who?
