Ah, the duality of owlbear in a post Baldur's Gate 3 world!
It sort of disquiets me that we now live in a world where I can't be 100% certain that something like that wasn't an AI attempting to infiltrate human spaces, or just a genuinely awkward human being unfamiliar with the rules.
Well that... happened.
For no especial reason at all, thought I'd bring up this funny magic item that used to be in the game but isn't in fifth edition anymore.

Voth was nothing if not self-aware. Talking people out of an argument was far from his realm of expertise. If anything, his lack of interest in keeping the peace between others was near the top of the list of reasons he tended to stay away from groups. Besides, as far as he saw it, the less Brutrumukk cared for his current companions the more likely he would be to try and find his way back home all the faster. Not that he would say it out loud.
That thought aside, there was still the current path to tread. "Food directly it needs not be. Seems obvious enough, what things you craft have magic in them. There is magic as can make food. The gods grant it to those clerics they favor enough. I know there to be magic, also, that turns a thing from one kind to another. Could you mayhaps make a thing for our beasty's gift that could conjure food by magic, or turn a thing that isn't food into food?"
So, is this one still alive or... ?
