Hello and welcome to my homepage!
My name is Nemeseia—I mostly go by Nephy but feel free to call me whatever you see fits!
I’ve been roleplaying for quite a while, and started back in 2006 on yahoo messenger. I eventually migrated to other sites before settling down in a site that would be my go-to for RP’s for over a decade, however; it died sometime last year with no warning and I lost years of work and writings. I haven’t role-played since it happened, however; I am looking to pick up writing again—it’s a big passion of mine and I do have a few ideas: both original and fandom universes.
I work full time and usually play video games during my off days. I’m a big fan of FromSoft games and currently playing Elden Ring: Nightreign. It has its hooks in me!
Aside from that, I mostly enjoy fantasy and supernatural settings, and quite prefer them over mundane settings. If I wanted to do slice of life, I’d go outside and touch grass… I don’t mind slice of life role-plays but I find them boring very easily and will lose interest in it if there’s not some sort of meat to help move it along.
As far as tropes go, my favorites will always be enemies/friends to lovers, arranged marriage, and fated, soulmates (when done right). I’m also a big sucker for romance in my plots, however; I typically don’t want it to be the only thing the plot is made of. Give me depth to characters—I want to see them grow and develop with the role-play!
I’d like to think myself a literate writer, however; it really depends on what I have to work with. If we’re doing a joint post, or whether or not a long post is warranted. Basically I can write between 500 words and up if needed.
Due to the nature of most RP's I do (they're not s**ual in anyway, I just prefer mature themes), I would prefer if my writing partner were also an adult, 18+, preferably over 20, however; because I cannot accurately know my roleplay partner's age, I will trust that you'd respect my wishes for such. As a person (she/her) in their mid thirties, I do not feel comfortable writing with anyone under the age of 18 or anyone still considered a minor. It doesn't sit well with me, and I will reiterate this often.
I also prefer art (any kind) or anime work for face claims. I've never been a fan of using a RL(real life) persons face as a medium for inspiration because it feels too personal. That's just my preference, however, and do not have any issues if my potential writing partner wants to use a RL for their FC! Just know that I will not...
Anyway, that’ll just about do it until I can come back and clean this up a bit more!

I definitely plan to put up an interest check of my own, eventually, but I have to think on how to format it and what ideas I’d really like to put out!

It's been a while since I last wrote something, it feels like. I personally tend to do 1x1's—not much of a group person but that's not to say I don't like groups in general! It's just easier for me to manage and brainstorm with one other person ^^;
I've been writing for a little over a decade and some years now, and first started on yahoo messenger (don't know if that's telling of my age, haha), but I've got an itch to get back into the trade! I mostly like to do original stories and do like a few fandoms (which I'll list eventually in a search thread) but for now I think I'll hang back and see the ins and outs of the site before delving into a much more detailed thread!
