Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

@Light Lord Averting her gaze, Celty let out a long drawn out sigh as soon as Devon finished speaking, "No. You're not crazy." Pausing, the Mawile looked to the Totodile, putting a hand on her head, "Look, kid, this probably isn't the best place to be talking about this. Uh... but I'll tell you one thing. Lucrecia... She uh, was special to me, but uh... she had a fascination with people. All of the old stories and legends, she'd obsess over them. Supposedly they're not even from this world."
Pausing for a moment, she looked back up to Devon, "Given everything you just told me, and everything I've seen... I would say yes, you're absolutely not a Pokémon. Instead, you're a person. ...or uh, human or whatever. I've never seen one, I cannot really tell you what they are, if that's what you were hoping for."
Looking around, hoping that no one was in ear shot, she would frown before continuing, "I wouldn't tell too many people this, Devon. If you really aren't a Pokémon, that can only mean one thing; something truly horrible is about to happen to our world. And, of course that would cause mass panic. Probably."

Species: Ninetales Ability: Snow Warning Hometown/Region: Johto - Ecruteak (Originally from Alola)
Moveset: TBA
Personality: Shinra is a stalwart defender of Ecruteak City and its Bell Tower. For this reason, the Ninetales has grown to mistrust humans, though he will not jump to conclusions hastily. To most, he is gentle, if not a bit narcissistic.
For canons that allow more than four moves, these are Shinra's known moves. Adding more as soon as I know what to expect from SuMo.

I appreciate that you're all super understanding though." Flashing a weak smile to everyong, her eyes then fell upon Selena. "And uh... I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you're going to be in a lot more of those situations, and worse ones. So um, instead of trying to just avoid that, maybe there's something we can do to work on it? I mean, if you're not up for the task... I can't say I don't understand and stuff. Whelp. On THAT cheery note, I really gotta get going. I'll come back to find you, but if you're not here I'll meet you at the Guild I guess?" Waving to the group, the Kirlia hurried out the door.
Rhys the Chimecho
[Folio Town - Rhys' Clinic]
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo The cleric came back, a few soaked rags, gauze, and a small bowl floating in the air before him. Making his way over towards the patient, he gently lifted Devon with Psychic, and began wrapping the antiseptic gauze around the Totodile's midsection. Once finished, he gently set him down, then coming over with the bowl. "Drink this... it should help heal the burns in your mouth. Also you can use these rags at your discretion." Handing the chilled, antiseptic soaked rags to the Totodile he looked over him. "Is there anything else I can do for you children for the time being? I'll be back to check on you, of course."
Robel the Heliolisk
[Folio Town - Residential District East]
@Light Lord As soon as the Toxicroak approached the group, the Heliolisk's gaze narrowed, though he kept silent. He listened as the Guild Master and cloaked Pokémon conversed, not once letting his sights off the Poison-type. Finally, when Datsu asked about Zihark, he paused for a few moments before finally responding, "Zihark was... just recently at the clinic. He departed when we did, and I believe I saw him heading... north? I do believe..."
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo The Totodile's recollection of the events caused the Chimecho to cry out, "W-What!? O-Oh dear, oh my that is not... not good. Electrical burns, what do I have for those..." While muttering to himself, Rhys disappeared from the room.
Making her way into the room, Lilisette sat down on Devon's bed, making herself rather comfortable. "I guess you did get messed up pretty badly after all. You know, you're lucky... no really WE'RE lucky Selena was there. Seriously, that was amazing. Can't say my attack skills are all that great." Looking over to the two mid-stage Pokémon, Lilisette smiled, "Devon's probably gonna be here for a while. So uhh... man I'm really bad at conversation when it matters. So... uh..." With wide eyes, she then cried out, "Shit! The dance show's going to end soon! I need to ... oh man, I need to leave soon."
Robel the Heliolisk
[Folio Town - Outside Rhys' Clinic]
@Light Lord Looking over at the downcast Flygon, Robel let out a soft grunt, "That's certainly not your fault. If... Deeku's remains are anything to go by, there's something... greater at work here." Taking a glance back at the Clinic, Robel raised a brow, "Devon...? I'm surprised there's a Totodile this deep in the desert, but I suppose I've heard of stranger things." Contemplating for a moment, he'd continue speaking, "Well, if it's assistance he needs, it's certainly something I can provide once I regain my strength."
The sudden question caused the man to pause, turning to look down to the boy, "You... could potentially defeat Lysandre, I believe. I am unsure how strong of a Trainer is, however..." Furrowing his brows he'd continue, "I am aware of the strength of one of his follower's Pokémon, and... she's quite strong..." Trailing off, he frowned before attempting a smile, "Anyway, anything is possible. It's something to strive for, at any rate!"
Oooo.. fair enough. Well, I'm sure Jinx would want to GTFO, and find somewhere to hunker down. Maybe somewhere in Route 701 away from any major towns? If this isn't enough to go on feel free to PM me and we can talk stuff out.
But yeah Pent's plan is... or was eventually to go visit some ruins. Could do this Indiana Jones style.

@Sketcher@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord A melodramatic sigh escaped the small girl's lips as everyone kept trying to cheer her up, even if she didn't want to be cheered up. Actually making eye contact with Michael, she let out a grumbling reply, "Sheesh... you don't know when to quit, huh? I mean... sure, maybe they had a plan, but I had a plan too, and that plan wasn't ditching my friends..." Ignoring the newcomer's words at first, she finally turned towards the man she had seen before. "Just because he knew what was going on, didn't mean he had to... ugh..."
Rubbing her arm against her nose, she made a sniffling noise before continuing, "Whelp, no one's going to let me be miserable so I guess I'll just. I dunno. Stop sulking I guess."
Picking herself up, Celes reluctantly put on a smile. However, instead of socializing, she just stood there awkwardly. Seeing this, her Dratini made her way over, coiling around her leg. <Celes...>
Devon picked up the small Ralts, and Libra let out a happy chirp. <Oh yeah... it's a little hard to see with my eyes like this. When I evolve it's supposed to get better.>
At Brook's introduction, Nasir gave the man a bow, "It's a pleasure, Brooks. You must be quite a skilled Trainer if you were able to deal with our assailants. Which, by the way, I am quite thankful you were able to assist with that."
Olivier would casually chime in, "His Feraligatr is quite strong. Actually, I recorded the entire fight from earlier, if anyone's interested..." After a moment's pause, he asked a question, "So this Team Royal Skies... They sound rather dangerous. I'll avoid any armored men, I suppose. Not that they'd want anything to do with me I'm sure..."
The Pokémon spoke to one another, and at Glameow's words, Mist let out a small sigh, <Ranulf's... kinda just like that. He basically raised Celes, so he's very, very protective of her. In a fatherly way, you know? Anyway, I understand why she's mad. I'd be upset too.> Looking over to the Cyndaquil, and then the Chikorita, she smiled, <Nice to meet you too! I'm Mist. And uh... yeah I know she'll get over it soon enough. She's not usually mad for long, but I guess this' never happened before.>
Deep within the Folio's Roots was a lair known only as Throne of the Manifest. The large room was separated from the rest of Basement Floor 14 by a long hallway. Inside the room, the walls were covered with moss, with a few pools of water littering the outermost edges. From the springs grew small trees, sitting atop twisted roots. Situated in the back of it all was a large throne made from tangled roots. Upon the throne sat a proud Xatu; Xicu the Manifest.
The female Xatu called out with her dulcet voice, "...You do realize I can sense Temporal Displacement, correct? Out with you."
From the farthest shadows a winged Pokémon appeared, her pink eyes falling upon the so-called deity. "Goodness, I had no idea you could sense that... well then, this is going to complicate matters."
Raising a brow, the Xatu looked over the trespasser. "Your existence already complicates matters. You should not be here."
Waving a dismissive hand, the winged female replied, "Yes, yes, possibly not. That said, I am here to assure your allegiance to the Shadow Lord."
The Fairy-type's words caused Xicu to roll her eyes and reply flatly, "My, my. You're quite bold coming here to discuss matters that have not even happened yet. Now than, what interest would you have in this matter...? You are from the future, no? You should already be aware of my decision. This conversation is pointless."
"Pointless? No, it's most certainly not pointless. The fate of your people hang in the balance, as I'm sure you're aware." Making her way towards Xicu, Lilith was then halted by a telekinetic force.
"Come no further. I have no quarrel with you, but I also do not wish to discuss matters that do not concern you. Leave, now."
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo Selena's suggestion was sound, and Lilisette managed to navigate her way to the clinic, after a few minutes of being somewhat lost and turned around. Outside of the clinic, the group would see a two familiar faces making their way out of the clinic; Glyph and the Heliolisk from earlier. Making their way in a completely different direction was an unfamiliar Mienshao.
Waving an arm, the Kirlia called out to Glyph and his injured friend, "Heeey Mr. Glyph! Glad your friend looks okay! Seeee ya!"
Not even giving the Flygon ample time to respond, Lilisette dragged the Totodile inside the clinic. "Mr. Rhys, you have a patient!"
The Chimecho immediately made his way over to the door, letting out a soft jingling noise as he navigated the halls. "Oh my...! What on earth happened to him?"
The Kirlia, still keeping a Psychic hold on the Totodile grinned, "Oh you know, not much. He's just a bit crispy."
With a horrified expression, the Chimecho took hold of the Totodile with his own [PSYCHIC], the Kirlia releasing him. In a rush, the Chimecho carried Devon over to one of the free rooms, gently setting him down. "Goodness... what are the nature of your wounds? I'll give you a Heal Pulse to take a bit of the edge off..." [RHYS used HEAL PULSE!] A healing energy formed beneath Devon, flowing into his form; the warmth and healing effect would be noticeably more potent than Lilisette's.

@Light Lord With Zihark taking his leave, it gave Robel a little more room to speak of important matters. The children from before passed by, with one greeting Glyph. After a few moments, the Heliolisk replied to the Guild Leader's question, "Given the current situation... either we can use the plans at a later date, or perhaps someone else can take my lead. That is of course if you believe the Expedition is even appropriate right now. Even if I were not currently injured I would prefer to remain in the city."
