Bio

Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.

Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Contact Info: My reddit username is RhaqaZhwan. The best method of communication is probably Discord, and my tag is Ninian#3747. I have Steam which I'm always on, just because of auto-login lol. If you play FFXIV, I'm Rhaq'a Zhwan of Mateus, so if you're on the Crystal Datacenter, feel free to say hi!

Timezone: EST (GMT/UTC-5) On the weekends my sleeping schedule is very strange. Otherwise I'm up early and sleep early-ish. Unless it's bizarrely slow, I can't post at work, sorry!

Cravings: I want to play Emet-Selch from FFXIV so badly, willing to make compromises for this to work out. Romance or not, group or 1x1, I care little at this point! I'm happy to come up with a suitable plot and guide the story if necessary, I have a lot of ideas and I'm very flexible.

TL;DR INFO
  • likes Pokémon, Star Trek, Fire Emblem, FFVII, FFXIV, Hazbin Hotel, and a lot of other Fantasy/Sci-Fi nerd stuff.
  • 30 years old and counting, also married.
  • prefers PG-13 scenarios, but is open to discussion.
  • Romance is character-specific. I usually play aces.
  • Discord tag is Ninian#3747 (on the RPG Discord so you should be able to just message me).
  • posts frequently.
  • post quality tanks when RL aggros.
  • can and will play a million characters in an RP if necessary.
  • I don't ghost. If I can't continue RPing for some reason, I'll tell you. If I get really sick you might have to poke me on Discord.
  • I won’t get offended if you ghost. If you ever decide you want to RP again just poke me!

@Lucius Cypher

If you were patient, something like this was going to happen soon (but it required you to actually post to move forward). Because of this, Gren needed to be removed to be able to progress the story. In the future, if you do not post during the 'boring' character interaction scenes, you cannot progress to something with more excitement. That's simply how stories work.

Anyway, thank you for stepping out. I hope you're able to find a RP that has constant excitement, I'm sure they exist.
@Lucius Cypher

It's been 19 days since your last (besides today's) post, so I assumed you were no longer interested. Additionally, your posting speed has been significantly slower than we've been trying to keep up; we've already given you an ultimatum. The Lilith event was my attempt to remove Gren from the story in a way that made sense so that I could continue on with the roleplay.

At this point, I'm really not keen on letting him "escape" his fate, as we're just going to run into the same problem, and it's just going to be that much more difficult to remove Gren from the story.

I'm requesting that you bow out, else I'm just going to have to remove you again when you inevitably take forever to post. If something in your life's changed in that you're able to RP more reliably, sure, fine. It just hasn't proven that way thus far.
Karaha the Umbreon
[Altepa Desert]

@Empour
The fact that Petra asked about the town caused the Umbreon to pause, looking over to the small Aron. "...Oh... yes, I am." Hanging his head, it was apparent the Umbreon was non-too-excited for the tasks, and even less eager to explain what he had to do. Nonetheless, she asked, and was there to assist him, so he knew that he had to be as honest as he could manage.

"The Sibyl had a vision... of Folio's destruction. Specifically, at the hands of The Manifest, however..." Averting his gaze he continued, "Her ablities... are enhanced by some strange, dark power. It would be impossible for the town to take her down, even with their combined strength. That is why... that... is... why..."

Closing his eyes, he let out a sigh, "That is why we must... no... I must call forth the Avatar of the Sun. Only then... only then will we have a chance..."

Lilisette the Kirlia and Pyrrha the Gardevoir
[Folio Town - Guild Dining Hall]

@Light Lord
A pitiful frown crossed the Gardevoir's features. You don't have any parents, that's... dreadful... Fumbling with what she should say to him, the silence was thankfully broken when the aforementioned Feraligatr appeared. "Ah! Raiden, I'm glad to see you were able to make it. I was beginning to think you wouldn't..."

Once he had finished his opening conversation with the Totodile, Pyrrha smiled, "Well... I do spend most of my time dancing, actually. It's not that I don't have vacation time, I just... I do suppose I'm not really sure what to do with myself otherwise? It's my passion, and there's not much else I would rather do. I'm sure you think me strange."

Lilisette pipped up, "You're not strange at all! Oh, and nice to meet you Raiden. I'm Lilisette! And before you make the weird assumption Pyrrha made with Devon, no I'm not Pyrrha's kid. Just uh, evolution line... thing. Yeah."

Lady Lilith
[Folio's Trunk - Waypoint]

@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord
The Dark Pulse collided in a show of light into a formerly invisible barrier around the alphabetical Pokémon.

Her gaze now on Letho, a sinister laugh escaped the black Gardevoir's lips, "Wanted? My, my, your Guild Members do work fast, don't they. I bet it was Karaha who called me out... he was always so justice-seeking. No matter."

Rolling her eyes, she replied to Fuse. "You're client. HE'S your client?! Oh, that's rich. You'll regret that decision. And I won't be the one causing you to regret it." Narrowing her eyes, a twisted smirk played across her lips, "So you're truly going to fight us, Fuse? How sad. Genji; don't kill him."

The Greninja nodded, "I had no intention of doing so, My Lady."

"Thy, hurry up with the portal. We can't risk letting Gren escape."

With her instructions sent, she pointed at the Sabeleye, "So you wish to fight? I only came here for your client. Here's your last chance; stand down, and I will allow the rest of you to live."
Celty the Mawile
[Valiant Village - Town Square]

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo
Celty followed behind the group, her eyes scanning the square. It seemed to be a rather uneventful day, though she was certain those out and about were taking care of the celebration's preparations. They're so care-free...
Pent Faraday
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory

[New Amber Town]

@Ophidian

Letting out a sigh, the man furrowed his brows. "Goodness... you believe me to be a puppy. I'm... far from that. Truly. But, ah..." Trailing off, he glanced down at his Lucario still carrying his cane. "I-I don't think anyone's ever thought of me that way. I suppose the nurses in Lumiose may agree with you, but no one ever offered to actually take me home... and I know for a fact my *students* would certainly not offer that..."

Shinon let out a small sigh, rolling his eyes. With a short bark, he'd speak up, <This isn't the first time he's been injured. At least this one was less grievous.> Looking to his Trainer he'd continue, <He's quite pathetic. I do not mean this in a bad way.>

"Ah..." Hanging his head, he let out a soft sigh. He seemingly understood his Pokémon, and through the power of aura, Jinx might have some idea as well.

Olivier Laine
Libra the Ralts

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo
Making his way through the halls, the blonde had a rather dead and tired expression upon his feminine visage. "...I can't believe I stayed up so late. I promised Michael I'd..."

The small Ralts looked up at his Trainer, <I told you not to stay up! This isn't school! And, I don't think Pokémon Centers sell energy drinks.>

Putting a hand to his brow, Olivier let out a groan, "You're right... I shouldn't have, but I just..." Trailing off, his green eyes widened as they fixed upon Michael who was looking around. Waving a hand, the tired Trainer made his way over towards the boy, "Sorry I'm late. I know I promised I'd get out early... Thanks for not leaving me, though."

Nasir the Zoroark
Trainer: Devon Lyton
Illusion Status: None
[Route 701]

@Light Lord
Putting a paw to his maw, the Zoroark furrowed his brows, "Brown and grey? I'll... I cannot quite recall, but I will certainly keep watch. So I take it Flappers was a Starly? Have you not found her recently? Perhaps now that you're not a mere child..." Trailing off, he let out a sigh. "...Let's see. Feathers..."

Taking in a few deep breaths, Nasir sniffed the air, hoping to pick up a trace of something. After a few moments he paused, and looked over to his companion. "I smell something of interest this way." Holding out a claw, he then began to head in said direction.

Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo
A sigh of relief escaped the Dragonite's maw as Lily made her way over. <Goodness, I'm glad to see you're awake. Celes seems... out of it. And, good morning to you as well. I slept decently, yourself?> It took the Dragonite a moment to realize that Lily probably couldn't understand anything he just said. It was something he had gotten used to.

Holding out an arm, he gestured to Celes. <You may want to wake her up...>
Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo
Celes was fast asleep, and it seemed as if nothing in the world would wake her. Normally, Ranulf would have picked her up, and thrown her over his shoulder by now, but it simply was not going to happen, given the situation. That said, the Dragonite had his nose pressed against the window, peering into the dorm. <Celes! Celes, wake up... Lily? Lily are you there?> It seemed the girl was nowhere to be seen. She must have been getting ready. <You've got to be... ah! Mist! Mist can you hear me?>

With bleary eyes, the Dratini uncoiled herself, looking up towards the window, <...Ranulf? What do you want...? It's so... early...>

A frown creased the Dragon-type's maw, <You must get up! Everyone is already preparing to depart for Viore. Brooks is already awake...>

<...Okay... okay... just five more...> The Dratini was unresponsive.

Nasir the Zoroark
Trainer: Devon Lyton
Illusion Status: None
[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Light Lord
A small smile crossed the Dark-types maw as his eyes fell upon his Trainer, "It is a nice morning indeed..." With his gaze falling downcast, he frowned at the second, actual question. "My sleep was typical, as for my dreams... it was a reoccurring one with June. I suppose that's actually... it was the one at the hospital..." Trailing off, he let out a sigh, "I'm unsure if that dream will ever go away. Anyway, no... matter. We're searching for a ... Starly?"
Lady Lilith
[Folio's Trunk - Treacherous Roots]

@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord
A scowl marred the dark Pokémon's visage as she made her way through the bowels of Folio's Treacherous Roots. Hmph, how dare she decline my offer. What makes him more fearsome than me!? I have more than twice the strength of that wretched mon. No matter. Even if she did not... I'll... it effects my plans not.

To her side was a Greninja, his brows furrowed as he looked upon his mistress. "My Lady, are you still worried about the Manifests allegiances? Fear not, she already said she would come to our... his side when the time came."

Grinding her teeth she frowned for a moment before looking over her companion. "I am aware, but the sooner Folio is crushed, the sooner Devon is taken care of. As well as..." She hesitated, "*It's just going to have to be something we take care of ourselves later.*"

[Folio's Trunk - Waypoint]

It took the pair some time to traverse the roots, but they finally made it to their destination; the Waypoint. Her winged form remained shrouded in the darkness of the roots, as she gazed upon a curious sight. Gren the Awakened. Near him was a Pokémon she recognized; Fuse. He going to make things considerably worse for her, assuming he was as strong as she recalled. Though, the fact he was only a Luxio was comforting.

Giving the group as little time to react as possible, Lilith threw her arm out, calling a command, "Capture the traitor!" In an instant, a dozen Unown appeared from the void, encircling the small Aron; encasing him in an orb of energy.

Lilisette the Kirlia, Pyrrha the Gardevoir and Robel the Heliolisk
[Folio Town - Guild Dining Hall]

@Light Lord
Robel averted his gaze as everyone attempted to greet him. All eyes were on him, and there was not much he could say. Not much he wanted to say. A small hand rose to greet everyone before he found a quiet seat as far away from the main group as he possibly could get. "...I can eat here. It's fine."

As he moved to sit down, he caught Raiden's glance, before shooting him a nearly inperceptable glare. Not a cruel one, but certainly a threatening one. Once he reached the aforementioned seat, he sat down, and stared at nothing in particular. Roland spoke up, but he merely gave him a small nod, not really acknowledging him past that.

"Woah, thirty? That's crazy! But uh, yeah... Ember and Selena are home eating with their parents. I don't wanna bother them, but like... should we go get them Devon?"

Whatever happened between Devon and Raiden made the Kirlia look them over with a raised brow, "Well uhhh.... I mean, you're probably starving. I could go get them." Grabbing a bun, she began to stuff it in her mouth.
Karaha the Umbreon
[Altepa Desert]

@Empour
"So you're from here..." His voice trailed off, and his eyes trailed the ground. "I see. Well, I'm glad you were able to make your way to Folio. I do hope the townspeople were kind to you."

Pressing onward, he furrowed his brows, making out the entrance to one of the surrounding ruins. It wasn't Horutoto, but it would likely be a good stop for the evening. "As for my stories... I cannot say I'm an 'explorer'... at least not anymore. My outings have been... recent, and for a purpose. As you'll soon see. Anyway... as for stores... ah..." Furrowing his brows, he tried to think of something to pass the time. "Well... I've explored many ancient ruins as of late. I also do what I can to assist the Sibyl... I..." Trailing off he continued, "...I suppose now that you're the only person here, I should tell you the truth. Or at least... a part of it. I am only on this mission to save Folio. Something... something is coming. These dangerous ruins hold the key to the town's salvation..."

Muttering, he pressed onwards, "I suppose that is not what you asked. Perhaps you seek a light-hearted adventure story? Hmmm... a long time ago... there was a boy. He was from... well, somewhere else. He had many Pokémon friends, however he himself was not a Pokémon..." Karaha trailed off, furrowing his brows. The Umbreon hesitated to continue.
Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center Interior]

@Shiny Keldeo
"Yeah... um, help would be great." With some struggling, Celes, and possibly the two of them would manage to get the window open. "Ranullllllf, we're over herrrrre!"

The girl flailed her arms wildly, and the Dragonite came to her call. "Yay, okay, so I guess you can sit there for the night. Sorry though, wish I could fit you in here."

<It's fine. Truly. Rest well, you'll need it. You too, Lily.> Giving the girls a smile, he turned around, taking his seat outside. Struggling to close the window, finally, Celes plopped down on one of the beds. "He's right... we probably need our sleep."
Lilisette the Kirlia and Pyrrha the Gardevoir
[Folio Town - Guild Dining Hall]

@Light Lord
Pyrrha was about to greet the Kirlia when Devon made his way over and managed to speak first. A sheepish smile crossed her lips as she averted her gaze, "Oh... yes, thank you. When we were first beginning, it was quite a lot of work, but now it simply comes to each and every one of us. It's almost second nature. Of course, whenever we come up with a new routine it's... a lot of practice once more." Putting a hand to her cheek, she smiled at the Totodile, "You must be Raiden's child? I can see the resemblance."

Furrowing her brows, Lilisette shook her head, "Noooo, no he's. He's not. Anyone's. I mean. He's just a kid."

The Kirlia's outburst caused a confused expression to wash across Pyrrha's visage. "O-Okay, apologies for the assumption. I suppose it would be strange for a mercenary to bring his child along, anyway..."
