I have an announcement.

To streamline things a bit, I've decided to drop the Sample Post requirement for 2nd (and 3rd) characters. My thinking is, once you've been approved for a first character (which will still require a Sample), we pretty much know you're writing abilities and it just gets redundant.

So, I have a couple of announcements.

I've added Ded's summary to the first page, and we'll be updating it as events happen.

I've also decided to alter one of our rules, but I think you'll all like this. I've decided to drop the sample RP requirement from additional characters. If you want to make a second (or 3rd) character, you no longer will have to write a sample RP for the CS. I think that once you've been accepted for the first character, we're pretty familiar with your writing abilities and it's just no longer necessary.

You know, I almost completely forgot about that ROC guy...and to understand how great that was, you really had to have been there. He was insistent on running an arc that was completely contradictory to what we had been doing in the game that season (the seasons generally lasted at least 2 years or more, and this was the 3rd season). I had tried reaching out to him, Hound had tried, the guy just absolutely refused.

So he got a little soggy, and we all laughed, and that I believe, was the last time any of us heard from him.

And Ded, we're working on it.

Nope, no problems at all. I like it a lot, actually. I used to live in Salem (right in front of the site they recently proved was the execution site) and I'm a big fan of the magical/witch types.

So yeah, Ded's initial appraisal was correct.

Ironically, when I was in school I was a cashier at Dick's. And I may or may not have answered the phone once or twice with "Thank you for calling Dick's Sporting Goods, we have all the balls you can play with." Yet, somehow didn't get fired
