Nyxx Hollow

Nyxx with her dulled eyes looked up at her mother’s poster she had seen the picture before but this was the first time she had given it any real insight; this was her mother the big time coordinator Madam Hollow. Compared to her mother she felt just a little small but she never gave it any real mind when living with her but now as her own trainer she could see how big of a shadow she would have cast on her if she went into contest like she did. A smile cracked over her face and grew into a full on smile so caught up in her own thoughts she didn’t hear Alex when she walked over and proclaimed how she would surpass her mom.
“Ha, mom tried to get me into the contest thing but I never cared much for it besides why would I follow in her foot steps and feel inadequate when standing next to her riding off her fame” she laughed out loud “But, nah she’s an awesome mother once you get passed the peppy attitude and optimism that almost feels obnoxious” She spoke fondly of her slipping into her own memories
“She’d never make me follow anything not like she could I’m way less motivated for all that but this trainer thing is all my own” She proclaimed raising her fist into the air with a big smile.
“Oh, I didn’t notice you there you’re uhm Uhmmm who am I kidding I wasn’t paying attention when you said it” she laughed “My name is Nyxx, Nyxx Hollow, and you?” she asked before following up with “I promise I’ll remember it”
Now everyone is together mainly because I want rivalries to form XD

Nyxx grumbled as her peppy ball of energy was gone in an instant being replaced, but this low attention span, half zombie of a girl that honestly couldn’t care less. She sat there on the ground with her legs stretched out, ears twitching when Kyle started to speak to her, but his words didn’t reach her brain until after a minute had already passed and she grabbed his hand to let him help her stand up. Once standing straight up, she was leaning back a little slouched over just a tad and yawned out loud.
“Don’t be so dramatic” she chucked teasing him before taking out the Pokeball holding Lupin the Swablu “Guess I should heal him” she grumbled again putting it on her belt right next to Nelz’s ball. “Oh that reminds me come get a good rest Nelz you’ve earned it” she said recalling her Buneary.
Scratching the back of her head she began a show lazy shuffle out of the park making her way to the PokeCenter without a care in the world. The doors opened and she walked through complaining the entire way to the nurse about how much of a pain Lupin was to catch putting the two balls on the counter and asking the Nurse to heal them. Being that it would take some time Nyxx looked around and noticed the other trainers from the lab going on about something, most likely not important, but what really caught her eye was the massive poster on the wall that stretched a considerable distance across all sides of the wall.
‘Mistress Hollow’ it reads under it showing a Pokémon coordinator with long elegant red hair and dazzling dress, looking exactly like an older version of Nyxx if she cared enough to put some effort in her appearance.
“I didn’t know mom came here too” she comments her eyes opening up slightly wider to take in the view.

Buneary and the Swablu continued to fight being that the Pokemon they were fighting was a bird and constantly had the height advantage made fighting the blasting thing a total chore. Thankfully, her Pokemon was a bunny and had the hops meeting it eye to eye for a pound, making this fight bearable and slightly more fair, what didn’t help was Swablu knowing Featherdance. Buneary had its attack lowered so much that it became near impossible to defeat it, but that didn’t stop it from trying, jumping and flipping off the lamp post landing another weak pound. The force from Nelz’s foot sent the cotton ball into a nearby bench as the fight moved into the park with many people circling around as an audience.
“That’s it Nelz don’t give up defense curl” she shouted as Buneary blocked an incoming peck from the pokemon “Now counter with Pound” she commanded flinging her arm outward holding a Pokeball and as Swablu was nailed and sent flying towards her, it was then pelted with the ball capturing it rather easy being that it was so weak.
“Oh yea, I’m awesome” she shouted, holding up her newly caught partner “Think I’ll call you Lupin” she said smiling looking at the ball in triumph
With all that taken care of now the energy she used to initiate that fight and chase even catching the Pokemon in the first place was tiring. Old Nyxx came back with her eyes, droopy and half dead look as if she were falling asleep on her feet.
“Now I’m bored”

Nyxx was still wired randomly walking upright, eyes more aware than usual, even the way she talked was more enthused if one didn’t know any better this could have been a completely different female. She was so amped she didn’t even notice Kyle’s comment about her being a butterfly; running outside, she stopped right in front of the lab, put her hands on her hips and looking upward like she had just triumphed over a great obstacle. Taking in a deep breath, she disturbed her bunny Pokémon resting in her hair at first Buneary was going to pound her head, but once she saw her trainer was ‘up’ it jumped off and landed next to her looking quite determined and full of spark as per the usual. Nyxx took out her trainer card something she didn’t even give a second take when she first picked it up and held it up to the sky.
“With this I am finally a real trainer!” she proclaimed with her Pokémon mimicking her, this moment of explosive energy was ruined when her card was stolen by a rather pillowey looking bird “The hell?!” She yelled, looking at the Pokemon that had just plucked her trainer card from her grasp, it then landed on a street light. “Would you mind giving me that back, I kinda need it, ” she asked, approaching the bird Pokémon who started to peck at its wing and flew off ignoring Nyxx’s plea. “Why that poor excuse for cotton candy get back here!” She screamed, running after it swiftly followed by her Buneary right behind her.
Shouting and yelling for the puff ball of a bird to come back Nellz picked up a rock and hurled it at the bird knocking it on the head. This angered the creature as it turned around and landed squawking at Nellz, “Heh easily angered huh, well bring it!” Nyxx said calling her Buneary into action. Before she started the battle in the first place like any trainer Nyxx took out her pokedex and scanned it;
‘Swablu has light and fluffy wings that are like cottony clouds. This Pokémon is not frightened of people. It lands on the heads of people and sits there like a cotton-fluff hat’
