all this near death and thrilling adventure, that event I wanted to do with Nyxx's mom seems like the perfect excuse to take tension out. XD

Another ancient Pokemon from the history books much like Amber’s Kabuto supposedly though this Pokemon was so much more powerful as is demonstrated by swatting away a Wooper from its tight like a bug. It was right then Nyxx felt more alive than she ever had in all the years of her known existence, seeing the fossil Pokemon stomp around in a very heightened aggressive state of mind before it started charging its hyper beam, something this close would atomize the entire group. Nyxx closed her eyes and smiled, remembering her mother and all the things she tried to teach her about Pokemon during the last month before her adventure took place, she recalled saying to her that no matter what she’d see her name just as high as hers without riding her coattails. When she opened her eyes again her smile had only gotten wider the memory why she attempted this alone and the fact she had plans to carry it out was more than enough comfort to send her to the great beyond.

“My grave, can you dig it” she chuckled, that content face wouldn’t last long as the Aerodactyl suddenly went flying in a direction, giving its face a shotgun wedding with the ground below “Well, now, looks like we're saved, ” she laughed even harder closing her eyes to calm herself down “Sorry for giving up too easy mom” she muttered straightening herself back up

Whomever this man was that was saving them certainly picked a very heroic time to save them, somewhere between the last light of hope and endless void of death but better late than never. A Dragonite was up to the plate now, she was no stranger to Pokemon in general being that her mother had an amazing arsenal of every type, but it’s been some time since they were sent into a battle so they lacked that savage factor Pokemon who go into fights regularly had. So, this was a Pokemon battle not like what shes been having till this point, but an actual throw down of final stage evolutions.

“Did mom fight at this level when she was a trainer?” she asked herself being transfixed by the tussle as if nothing else mattered, sure enough to the rest of her group she may have looked sleep or just oblivious to the world right now but that couldn’t be further from the truth. “I’ll catch up one day”.

Just like that it was all over and everyone had been saved. Nyxx walked over to Amber to convey the fact that it would be more convenient if they took him up on his offer as she felt both physically and emotionally drained from their whole ordeal, although that sure enough was the laziness talking that she didn't want to walk if she didn't have too.

In her mad dash to away and save her dark skin from further danger, she caught wind of a Pokémon battle happening between her new group and what looked like her mother’s fans only slightly better dressed. Everything in her brain told her to just leave them to their own devices, but that in itself went against everything she wanted to do on this journey and so against her better judgment Nyxx decided to join in on all the chaos. Being that she was behind the ruckus she could get a good shot in on the Rydon especially being that she was nearly completely unnoticed. Releasing both Buneary and Swablu she who was always prepared for a fight the trainer put her plan into action.

“Lupin, use feather dance, make sure it gets in its eyes!” Nyxx called out putting her plan into action. Swablu started to release a barrage of its strange set of feathers blinding the rock Pokémon causing it to go into a frenzy for a moment.

“Nelz unbalance him, ” she shouted and the entire group bare witness to the bunny Pokémon leaping up onto its tail, run up its back then pounded all of its weight on its horn, sending it crashing into the ground.

As it fell Nyxx herself was already walking along the side of the ambulance to meet her group “Well, I guess since we're a group we stick together right?” she sarcastically asked with a yawn using one hand to cover her mouth “Even if it is quite the bother, I guess let’s do it or whatever” she complained giving her best pep talk speech she could muster.

Nyxx wasn’t exactly on the woke side of existence, so her being able to not only recall her Pokemon and do what one could only assume was a run of sorts all at the same time was nothing short of a miracle. Eventually, though her eyes did open enough to see where she was going so she could effectively guide herself to a more effective place than just her grave. Straightening herself and getting into what appeared to be a light job before it turned into a frightful sprint burning off into the distance leaving bother Oscar and Amber in her dust.
