@ReaptheMusic That's cool. Answer is good enough for me. :)
@ReaptheMusic Mery the B.? You had anything planned for her that I need to aware of? Just checking for clarification.
I believe it would come down to 'how' you write the gore in. There are ways to write gore without it sounding like it's written by a mentally unstable person who likes to harm innocent kittens during their free time.
@NuttsnBolts Eh, That's not that long in the whole scheme of things.
Talking bout the movies, not the series
The Librarian. It's a good movie if you can get over the fact that a 2004 movie has 90s style CG effects. xD
The sun shone with the brightest of lights and the warmth filled the air as Lexie laid relaxed in her chair with her eyes closed. She could feel a warm breeze brushing over her body with her hair gently swaying back and forth, but all that emotion, that sense of serenity, was reduced to nothing when the sound of a thunder cracking off in the distance could be heard. Slowly she opened her eyes and found herself staring at a ceiling light with enough brightness to leave shadow spots in her eyes when she blinked. The humming sound of a warm air-conditioning unit could be heard close by and as she propped herself back up in her chair the air swept past her for about the ten thousand time that day. She must have dozed off, no, she 'had' dozed off because when she looked at the clock she could see that 15 minutes had passed by and next to the clock was a half finished coffee that was loosing it's ability to let off steam. "What was I up to?" She thought as she surveyed the desk to see what paperwork was left behind. The foyer Lexie worked in was up on one of the higher levels of the Desium Corp building. Before her desk laid about 500+ square meters of near emptiness. The only things beside her desk that filled the room was a few potted plants, two lounges, a coffee table and a rug to accompany them. Behind her was a set of double doors that lead to her manager's office, before her were two elevator doors, and over to the side was a conference room which was currently being occupied by a few select individuals discussing the progress of the Mechangles roll-out as well as future plans for their weapon's distribution. All in all it made the day fairly dull and considering this was her 6th day on a row at work, Lexie was kind of over the week. At that moment the doors creaked open and several higher ups began to flow through towards the elevator. They were chuckling and applauding themselves for the brilliant work that they had done, even if all it happened to be was a signature on a document. One of the men dispatched from the group and walked over towards Lexie with a file in his hand and handed it towards her. She put out her hand and took it off him reading the headline. "Sales and Growth - 2st Quarter" "Sir, did you want me to input your notes into your latest file report?" she inquired. "That would be wonderful. We've come across a few anomalies again. Seems like we're having the same problems with the Revolution as what we did last year." Her manager spoke as he rested his hand against the table to prop himself up. He was a tall person. Fairly thin and of a middle age, but still young appearance. "How did you want to handle it?" Lexie leaned back in her chair with a sense of curiosity, secretly hoping for something to do. "Nothing at the moment. We have too much else going on with the roll-out and we've decided that we'll deal with the few... miss-deliveries... when the time comes." Pushing himself off the table he began to walk towards his office before calling back, "Oh, and once you finish. Go home and have a day off." "As you wish Mr Kagome." She spoke as she was left to her silent room to finish off the day.
Take a break and experience some new things, like movies, music, games or hobbies. I had a similar thing when it came to signature tags in Photoshop. I had a period where I was stagnant and I do believe that it was mostly due to what I was naturally exposing myself to. So I'll take an example of music, but most people that know music are generally used to drums and guitars. However there is more out there when you look at DJs and how they rely on computers and turn tables. Some even borrow other music tracks and use them as samples. Example: Making of "The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up" in Ableton by Jim Pavloff I could go a step further and say that you don't even need samples or musical instruments to make music. How about a gameboy? Skip Cloud - SLNCE IS GLDEN So you see a simple thing like creating music can have so many possibilities where people that don't even own a musical instruments can produce something. The exact same can be applied to story writing. Read a couple of books you normally wouldn't touch, watch a TV or even anime series that you don't know about, or even watch a movie. What you are looking for is something in that form of media to grasp your attention to the point where you want more or even want to share with others what you enjoy. Hope that helps.
Name: Lexie Bristol

Gender: Female

Character Type: Demon

Appearance:

Career: Secretary to a Desium Corp Manager within the weapons sales division.

Skills:
- Excellence in hand to hand combat with additional melee weapons training.
- The ability to monitor various sectors of the city through sales and distribution of their goods. If a section becomes too hot or too cold an inquiry is produced to ensure that everything is running smoothly.

Supernatural Abilities:
- When in Release form she is able to vastly increase her strength and speed as well as summon her personal, demonic weapon "Loutka".
- Lexie owns a special axe known as "Loutka" that was forged from Hell itself. The axe is also viewed as a cursed weapon because of what happens when the wielder spills their own blood onto the blade, and only after an injury has been inflicted upon a victim. When these two steps are complete the axe head will begin to glow a brilliant white and lock the two fighters into a joint unison for only a maximum of a few minutes. Any injuries inflicted upon the wielder will be mirrored back onto the joined victim as well. In essence, the wielder becomes a temporary voodoo doll for the victim as "Loutka" believes each time it draws blood off the wielder, it is attacking the other person. This spell however has a long cool down period where the weapon and wielder must rest.
- Although not used often when she is in her Release form she is able to flick out her hand in order to shoot a plasma, energy ball.

Personality: Calm and assertive but when in Release form she can often appear insane.

Bio: Lexie, being within the sales division, is able to monitor the traffic and sales of their products to both demons and humans. Mostly this was used to help their marketing department in order to control where they need to advertise and ship their goods. Occasionally though, thanks to rebels and black market dealers, some of their deliveries would go missing with couriers winding up dead or dismantled. This is where she would be sent on special assignments to simply retrieve what rightfully belonged to Desium Corp. After all, it isn't easy explaining a 1 million dollar stock loss to the company.

Outside of work she enjoys the underground life of the city, often venturing into raves deep within abandoned car parks under the city buildings or pits where disposed Cyborgels were forced to fight against each other or demons for illegal betting. These environments allowed her to feel more at home with the chaos and despair that they spilled out while reminding her of the past where the demons won against the angels.

She owns an apartment near a top level of one of the City towers. The view gives her the feel that she like a god looking down on her people, judging the and watching them like ants
