Charlie would be confused "this shouldn't of happened...the ship would only lurch like this if we hit something.. or something hit us.." his eyes would widen and turn the screen to a pirate ship, that is position right next to theirs from having scrapped their side, and is preparing to board.

Charlie would face palm especially at Alex as he takes off "..idiot" he sighs "..summoning doesn't really work like that... so who ever summoned this.. is only one who can dispel it.. at lest with living things.." he said "doesn't mean we can't kick it's ass...." he would put his hands and legs stretched out "...Heed my call.. Forbidden infernal Dragon mail" he says as suddenly armor starts forming on him, first as energy then emerges as a phyiscal object, until he is in a full Red armor that has dragonic features.
"this will protect from fire based attacks including magma" he grins "and next..." he puts his hand outwards "Heed my call, legendary blade of air, Mighty Durendal!" as first the hilt appears then the blade.. almost like it was forming into existence in his hand, though he was simply calling it from another place.
The more powerful the equipment, longer it takes for him to call forth... though thanks to his multiple magic rings they boosted his speed for a little while, though when the equipment is sent away, he'll be sleeping for a good while.
He'd charge towards the monster that is attacking them, like a maniac his armor protecting him fairly well, wind circling his blade.

well mainly trying to resist doing what my character is telling me to type lol.. his wanting to call forth the mighty blade Durendal, and dragonic armor lol.

Charlie puts his own ring on then nods and then kneels down and calls forth a wolf "here we go.. this big boy will help track" he says as he pets the wolf then calls a few more rings putting them on "got to love magical items" he chuckles, each of the rings his put on have different uses.
he smiles as she takes off to capture her creatures then would look out the viewing window "....come on old girl... you can hold on for a while" he says softly talking to the ship... pulling out a small device from his pocket, only thing his parents left him when they had passed away. then sighs and puts it away, then goes to head down the hall when the ship shakes sideways some, nearly loosing his balance.
