Alsooo, how much of a lecture on the properties of waves can you guys take? Because Lyra's grandmother is a physicist and Lyra was fascinated with everything she said... and I used to study physics in college, haha.

@Regitnui I was thinking he was manually putting in HR tags for the line, and somehow changing it's color, and manually adding the gifs to every post.

I never really noticed until a bit ago that it changes every time I reload the page.

How do you write when you have a writer's block?

I don't. It's part of why my book isn't finished.

However, to get past it I use music. Or if I'm struggling with what I'm writing, a more minor form of writer's block, I'll try writing it differently from how I was. Maybe more dialogue. Maybe less. Maybe more focus on the surroundings and how a character sees it and reacts to it. Maybe something to throw everything into a new direction.

And, of course, music helps me with the latter issue.

Also, like Reg said, feel free to respond to our PM for help working out ideas and stuff. I'm always happy to help.

@Aiyanna I started my novel when I was 13, and this is my 7th edition (rewrite), and I'm completely redoing it.

To give a minor synopsis of the first book (planning on it being a trilogy, if u ever finish anything with it) involves the Past (mostly medieval) being mixed into the Future (like, say, 3100 AD) and shit going sideways. Magic, monsters, and a lot of war.

For basics, anyways. I don't want to go into too much here (publishers don't like that, and in case I ever finish this I do want to get published), but I love talking about it. Mostly through PMs.
