Rend lifted his bow, stringing an arrow, and keeping a finger on the arrowhead. As if he'd waste the energy to be lethal on punks like these.

"Desist and lay down your weapons," he called over, taking a stand diagonally behind Kyoshi.

What a bother. Wild goose chase, lying brat probably set us up... he thought to himself bitterly. We're just lucky it's some random Rocker goons and not a Parahuman trap.

With a disgusted sound, she closed her fingers around the child's face, tight enough to shut the mouth and pull at the skin.
"Persequere!" Pursue!

Eyes snapping close, the laughing growing distorted to her. Liz felt like she was flying, the forest trees flying past before she settled on a clearing nearly a half mile into the woods. There the children were appearing before her eyes, and the laughing was coming from her mouth.

Releasing the child, Liz opened her eyes, the laughing having stopped.

"I know where to go. North, maybe five minutes if we walk fast. I don't care if you follow, but I'm going to go save my sister from... Whatever this thing is," Liz said in a subdued voice. "But...I could really use help."

With a quick sleep spell on the child, Liz turned and took off into the forest in the same direction Chef had.

As she neared the clearing she had seen, she slowed to a stop. Above her was the mean one. "You actually going to help me this time?" She called up to him. "Because of you this thing has my sister. It's threatened us and her."

It would basically pull a Skitter in that the shit in her would continue doing what she last told them. But she'd immediately walk out after realizing that field cut her power and change what everything was doing before going back inside.

Lillian listened to her fellow Wards with one ear and tried to hear these Parahumans with the other. She'd been surprised by Tulpa's announcement that they were all Paras, with a wide variety of abilities.

She nearly giggled at the comment made to Margrave, one she was about to make herself.

With any luck, she'd remember that later so she could ask him why he had been doing it. Boys were so weird.

She couldn't catch much in terms of talking, though. They weren't being loud by any means, which made her wonder who they were exactly. She pressed her comms...
"The big guy just moved some big boxes like they were cardboard. They found some weird looking case, it's got that Omega symbol on it. It got passed off to someone I couldn't see, but the girl separated from the big guy," she conveyed in a hurried whisper. "As for vehicles...I can't tell by smell, but looks like there's people. Just relaxing and chilling and stuff."

Lillian backed away from the glass carefully, standing back up when she was several steps away. For a brief moment her shadow crossed the skylight, maybe half a second at most, before she caught her mistake. Hopefully none of those people had been looking up...

"If we're gonna do anything, I think soon would be best. What's the orders, Leader Messiah?"
