depends. most mechanics (unless your character lives in the village with the birthed) haven't met their partner yet--they've been recruited by the government and are currently waiting for their first assignment. Or something along those lines, anyway.

@RumikoOhara keep in mind that Kik's nanotech is still growing--she might be powerful now, but she's got a lot of her life left at this point. with more implants and time, she could grow stronger--and she should. rp is about development, so... I just wanted to make sure you're prepared to work at developing your character's weak and strong points :)

alrighty. either way is fine; pick what you like best. i like the idea of the foster mom a lot, i'm actually creating a character who might serve as the team psychologist.

so like information overload? i liked the "seems distracted" bit and thought that might make a interesting character--having so much info at one's fingertips can be terrifying. maybe she is perpetually distracted.

@RumikoOhara does WIP mean you need to edit it more, or that you want the ok to post? cause I don't have many problems with it; I would however like a bit of balance/faults? maybe a little more personality--what makes her tick, what's a weakness, etc. it doesn't have to be anything huge; just something to knock her off-kilter sometimes. also, did her birth mother die? is her foster parent a scientist or just a resident?

answer some of that and I can give you the ok. btw, I love that art, I see it on yt music channels all the time.
