@Doc Doctor, There is no reason that the ability could just not function - it really would have zero impact on Aleigha's overall performance, considering that she does not rely on the ability as something to give her any sort of reliable advantage in combat.

Oh sorry I must of worded that the wrong way! I know the Elemental Spirits are metaphysical, they are more akin to gods than anything else it seems it would be silly if they acted as individual guardians, as they already acted as overseers of all and such. I was talking hypothetically if somebody tried to outright commit Deicide what would happen. Or if that was even possible because how tangible they are as these deity type creatures are if they had actually physical stable forms like in Chinese and Greco-Roman mythology or if they were like more monotheist gods that are traditionally immortal and can not be effected by human action.
Roughly speaking, if they died they would return to the sleeping god.They are essentially fragments of him and would be reborn, IIRC.

I am helping out with the RP a bit so I can answer some stuff. Correct me if I am wrong, Red. Yes. Shadeweavers can curse you so you could've been cursed by one of them.
@Hexaflexagon You don't need to have a pet or something. Just think of it as being granted your guardian's powers. You can have a big monster or something if you want, but it isn't required. All that is required of you is a small and short, or large and long ritual after you cast a spell. For example, Red's making a mage that cries after a spell cast as part of her ritual.
