Due to having been pals with Abillioncats on another site for several years, there's a sense of irony in Emerald being considered a more noticeable character than your adorkable tomboy Skyra. Mostly because Cats plays an RPG character named Skyra who's an adorkable tomboy offsite.

It's not really surprising, no offence, it's just human psychology. The weak and defenceless as well as the strong providers receive the most attention. People that fall in the middle tend to be overlooked. People like Abel, Sapphire, Jack, Skyra who are strong enough that they don't need help but not strong to the point they could take on the world tend to fall through the cracks. Then you've got characters like Emmy and Shiro who have almost no mental control and are always doing the stupidest if adorable things draw the most attention to themselves. They act like children much younger than they are and so people remember them better because everyone is wired with an internal system that wants them to protect the infants of the species. You're characters not bad or unnoticeable, she's just not acting like a third grader.

Not that I'm going to change up my character "just to be noticed", that would be absolutely horrible. Skyra's gonna remain the adorkable tomboy she not really is right now, because I hadn't really had time to develop her.

I'm not down. I'm taking this as an initiative to write better. I know I can, but fights are definitely not my strong point in writing. I'd have to say, they're more of a weaker point of mine.

Hey, folks. In case you didn't know, the current contest is a Survey, which means everyone gets a credit for completing it. There is no good reason at all to not be doing it in the coming next few days.

I know, I will be doing it when I have time to read some more IC posts. I haven't keeping track of them lately and I need to to build myself a picture of who I like the most and stuff.

P.S.: I'm kinda disappointed my character doesn't show up in any of the survey's answers yet, but this'll just drive me to do better, enhance my character and make her more enjoyable. It can't be that Emerald, who's been here for. like, 2 weeks has made a bigger imprint then I have *looks determined*
