Luciana shoved a piece of syrup-covered waffle into her mouth as she listened to her friend, she noticed the change in her body language when she asked about the party. She felt like there was more to the story than what Vivian was telling her but she also didn't want to flat out accuse her of lying, was the blonde girl even capable of that? Even if she was lying Vivian wouldn't do so without a good reason so something must have happened, she wouldn't pry though....even though she really really wanted to.

"Yes you did...it really sucks that they cancelled it. I could only imagine the shenanigans and drama, god you know I live for drama. But enough of that, how was your summer? Mine was exhausting, dad decided to plant a new Vineyard so I ended up helping him. So not fun." Luciana said, deciding to change the subject from the party to something else hoping to not put so much pressure on her friend. "Honestly, I don't think the man realizes I'm a teenage girl with needs. I have friends I want to see! Not spend all day in a dirty field planting grapes. Please tell me yours was at least somewhat better."

While Luciana might complain about her father and her home in Italy, she loved it. Unlike America there were tree's and plants everywhere, the scent of roses and lavender always filled the air. Wine from her fathers factory to taste and perfect, plus her father himself. He was such a down-to-earth and kind man, she could see why her god parent had no issue in choosing him. She let out a wistful sigh as she cut her food up to bits, she already missed all the plants. She was so used to being surrounded by them that here at the Academy she felt out of place.

"You ungrateful child!" The harsh words of Manami's mother rang in the air, hitting the dark-haired girl like a slap in the face.

"Do you care at all about what me and your father have done for you, all the time we spent in order to give you a life filled with whatever you wanted?! This is how you repay us?!" The older woman's voice was high-pitched and loud, there was no doubt in Manami's mind that anyone in the house could hear what was going on. "Mama, it's not that serious! I just want to quit this stupid charade, dressing up with make-up and heels that hurt my feet....that isn't me! I want to go back to school and finish my degree, I want to be a nerd that reads books and wears what she wants without worrying of being called out." Manami's mother looked like her daughter had just told her the worst possible news, her eyes that mirrored Manami's brimming with tears. From the other side of the room Manami's father sat silently, a newspaper in his hand, this wasn't unusual though. The man was more of a ghost than he was a father, never saying a word against his wife.

"So you want to just throw away the nice life we've given you? I see how it is, you just don't care about your parents! You just want to toss it all in the trash, everything that your father and I have done." Manami felt her lip quiver and her throat being to grow sore as she fought back the tears that threatened to reveal themselves. "No, but I hate doing all of this! It's not fun, it's not what I want. What about what I want, huh? Do you ever think about that? Does that matter at all?!" Just as her mothers voice was getting louder hers was as well, she felt a massive amount of emotions beginning to spill over and she wasn't sure if she would be able to stop it.

Her mother scoffed, turning her nose up at her own daughter. "What you want doesn't matter, as MY child your job is to take care of me and make sure I can live the rest of my days in peace. So help me god, if you destroy what we have built then....well you don't want to know the consequences."

Manami felt her blood run cold, she could tell that her mother simply wasn't the same person anymore. The money and fame had gone to her head, corrupting any sweet person who might have been inside. She couldn't do it anymore, she had to get away. Manami didn't say anything else as she grabbed her purse and fled her parent's home, hailing a taxi as fast as she could. Once she was inside she took a deep breath and exhaled, her breath hot and shaky as she tried to calm herself down. The Taxi driver could see her in his rear-view mirror and asked if she was alright and even though she told him she was fine Manami wasn't so sure about it.

Manami realized she wanted someone to talk to, someone she could ask for advice, someone she didn't have to hide from. Out of all the people she knew only one person came to mind, though she wasn't really that close with her she was the only person who didn't seem to care when she saw Manami "out-of-costume". The girl pulled her cellphone out and scrolled through her contacts until it landed on the name Victoria. "Hey, I need to get out of the suffocating apartment, want to go to the festival with me?" She texted, hoping to get a response back.

----------

About two hours later Manami was standing by Sol Bucks coffee, a tray that held two separate coffees in one hand and her cellphone in the other. Instead of being dressed up in her usual over-the-top look she was dressed in a pair of blue jeans, a sweater that had a picture of some video game character, a black jacket and very minimal Make-up. She hadn't even done much with her hair, had run a straightener through it real quick so it wasn't super frizzy. This was how she dressed/looked at home, how she was comfortable.

The cardboard drink tray in her hand held two coffees; One that was filled with cream and sugar and lots of caffeine. Another that was decaf along with whatever else Victoria liked. After her new friend had agreed to meet with her Manami made their meeting place in front of the coffee shop. She found that she was excited to spend some time away from home, away from social media and to just be herself. It had been a long time since she had taken time to just be....her.
Hello!
I am interested in either the Princess and the thief or the lost in time roleplay :3
@Vertigo

I thought the same when picking Neeko, though honestly in this roleplay Zoe is supposed to be the 'leader" of TDSG and the cause of corruption, as such I wasn't sure if I was comfortable handing the role over to someone else because I didn't know if they would understand the vision I have for her.
Indeed, I myself am playing Neeko and Zoe. Other's may do the same. Though I would prefer only one Star Guardian and One Dark Star Guardian each.

The world is not as peaceful as everyone thinks, there are things beyond our gaze and in the stars that threaten our very existence. When there is so much danger within the galaxy how is the human race expected to survive? Who will save them from the monsters that are on Earth's doorstep?

Valoran City - It is the largest and most prosperous city on the continent of Valoran. It could have everything someone could ever need, there is no crime and everyone lives in blissful harmony. Within Valoran City is the most prestigious school; Kalstead Academy. Children who attend Kalstead are known to achieve great things and go on to become amazing contributors to society. Several students here though are destined to become even greater, they are fated to become the protectors of the galaxy. They are destined to burn bright, but must overcome the chaos that comes with darkness or else collapse as furiously as they shine.

Though a new darkness has begun to spread throughout the galaxy, corrupting the stars and planets as it moves through the shadows of space. It has been moving at a rapid pace in a single direction, it's target is as plain as day; Earth. This is not the first time this danger has been encountered though, many many years ago it was seen and defeated by The Star Guardians. What happened to those heroes is a mystery, what is clear though is a new generation has been chosen and it is soon time they awaken and save the Galaxy.

Content; This is a roleplay based on The Star Guardian lore from League of Legends, with my own twist though. It will be an academy-type roleplay with a magical girl sub-plot, if that makes sense. We will be roleplaying as already made Star Guardians along with some others that have not been made yet within the actual LoL lore. Simple students who discover that they have been blessed with newfound powers, whether they decided to follow their goal to save the galaxy or descend into chaos and darkness is up to the roleplayer.
Dark Star Guardians are corrupted Star guardians, they are the antagonists of the story.
Pictures; Animated pictures will be used. I will have a roster of available/taken Star Guardians, I would prefer if similar pictures were found to match the pictures of the Star Guardians - I have already found stashes if people cannot find their own.
Posting; I know people have lives, I have a pretty hectic one. I only ask that people post when they can, if your having troubles let me know, I promise I won't get upset and neither will the other's. Life comes before roleplaying.
Ditching; Please, please, PLEASE do not ditch. If you lose interest or simply cannot continue with the roleplay than just let me know, I will not get angry. I understand that inspiration can lack or life get's in the way.
Joining; I will not be looking at CS until I get enough interest in this topic, though please feel free to work on one while I try to get this going. Once enough interest is gained then I will make the IC thread as well as a discord to go along with the roleplay.

This is going to be a large group roleplay. You can choose from any of the available characters above, or if you have a concept for another you are allowed to shoot it at me. I have provided basic info on each character however you are allowed to customize them in any other way. I will not accept anyone right now, I want to see how much interest this can generate.

Luciana turned from the boy to look at her younger friend, an exaggerated sigh escaping her lips. "I have someone named Beau, I am not looking forward to sharing a room with a boy." She shivered, wrapping her arms around herself in a dramatic fashion. "I need privacy as a girl! Now I have to watch what I say around whoever this person and you know me, I really don't like limiting myself." She really didn't like that the incompetent staff had decided to go off the decency scale and room people with the opposite gender. Did they not think some of them would take advantage of that? Seriously, they had to be stupid to not think so. Luciana let out some unintelligible mumble before turning to the counter, debating on what she wanted to eat.

There were so many choices; Muffins, bagels with cream cheese, eggs and toast, waffles with bacon. At the moment she felt like she could eat it all and her stomach agreed, rumbling loudly. In the end the brunette girl decided on a chocolate muffin, two waffles drenched in syrup and a strawberry yogurt. Paying the woman at the register, she returned to her blonde friend with a giddy little smile. "God, you don't even understand how hungry I am. The lane had terrible food, you wouldn't have been able to pay me to eat it." She said, sitting down at a table.

She had almost forgotten that the boy was there, he had been so quiet. He was pretty abrupt but he said goodbye to Vivian and went on her merry way. Luciana stared after him for a moment then shrugged her shoulders, it honestly wasn't any business of hers nor did she care. Instead she chose to focus on the person that was till there, Vivian. She could feel the glowing happiness that she radiate, there was no stopping the large smile that graced her features. "But ya know, this just gives me a bigger excuse to blow up your phone now. But enough of the roommate situation, I can deal. Tell me - Why was yesterday so miserable? Didn't you say the party was cancelled?" She asked curiously, using a plastic black fork to cut up her fluffy waffles.

Sienna buried her head in her hands as she continued to take several deep breaths in order to calm herself down, her whole body felt hot and shaky. She was focused on trying to calm herself down that she barely even heard Maria walk over to her and speak. Her reaction was delayed by almost a minute, the blonde lifting her head as she registered that someone was speaking to her. "Oh, Maria!" She said in a startled tone, blinking a few times. She had to think hard to remember who she was, her brain was so muddled at the moment that she was having trouble concentrating. "I um, I'll be fine. It's just a dizzy spell...they happen." She tried to pass it off, Sienna didn't want anyone worrying about her. They all had their own problems, why else would people come to a place like this?

After another moment of some deep breathing she finally began to feel like herself a bit, already she could feel the hotness of her skin start to cool. Another face seemed to appear out of thin air, yet another patient who was worried. The blonde girl stared at the two who were now asking if she needed help, suggesting this and that. Out of the corner of her eyes she noticed a passing nurse who glanced at the trio with a curious gaze, Sienna felt her heart skip a beat in worry. She really hoped that news of her sickness didn't get to the head therapist, the devil of a woman liked to pry too much whenever she got sick.

A sigh slipped past her lips as she relaxed more in the chair, looking to the two girls "I'm really fine, just something that needed to pass. Though...a glass of water does sound nice. Actually...food sounds nice. Do you guys want to join me for a snack?" She asked them with a soft smile, her mind wandering to Bethany. Her friend had been so friendly and welcoming to all, even some of the weirdo's that were in this place. Perhaps that was why she had graduated finally, though she still felt suspicious about the whole thing. No one here seemed to be well enough to graduate, in fact some of them seemed to only get sicker as time went on. "Oh, it's part of the process, things get worse before they get better!" A direct quote from their air-headed doctor.

Jagger didn't hear Fiona come up behind him, her voice causing the bright fairy to jump a little. "Summer theme drink?" He echoed, cyan eyes flashing towards the flaming entity with a look of curiosity. He glanced up towards the ceiling as the idea swirled around in his head, he could just imagine cute little drinks and how happy the customers would be with them. He looked back to Fiona with a large smile, "I'll be glad to talk with him" He said quickly before they could walk away to help out with whatever needed done. As he observed the people slowly trickling in and his workers running about taking orders, he sighed wistfully.

A year ago he wouldn't have been able to imagine himself in such a situation. No, just a year ago he was a sad and bitter fairy who wanted nothing to do with the world. He would have much rather holed himself up in a room than be surrounded by people like he was now. He forget who or what caused him to start the cafe but he was glad he did. Though while there were people and creatures all around he didn't really have anyone close he could talk to, his best friend ended up leaving on an emergency trip and that left Jagger alone. The male shook his head, this was no time to be feeling down! He had a business to run! Playing the good cafe owner he tried to be, Jagger started to go around to each table to chat and check up on the customers.

After that was done Jagger moved off to the side and turned so that the whole cafe was in his view, tilting his head to one side as various ideas and thoughts began to enter his mind. He had to get this place ready for the talent show later that evening, while most of it would be done via illusion he still wanted touchable decorations to add a sense of realism as well. There was also the matter of drinks and food that he had to confirm as well, he wanted lots of people to come to the event so he wanted to make sure his chefs could handle it.

The pink-haired male rubbed his temples as he thought. There was so much to do for one person, now that Q was gone so much had been dumped on him that it was beginning to stress him out. "I need an assistant...." he thought to himself as he moved to the coffee machine and made himself a cup, heaping tons of sugar and creamer into the dark liquid.
