The Room

*Mergoux lets go of Karma and staggers a few paces back then glares at her silently*

*A few miles away Tiaz is grinning wickedly as he stares into a bowl of water*
Tiaz: Togan... ready your sister... We have an escaped slave to re-capture...
*Togan nods and retreats further into their cave-home to find his sister*

The Room

*Mergoux loses it, jumping at Karma and attempting to seize her by the front of her clothes*
Mergoux: TELL ME WHERE THE B*ST*RD IS NOW!
*She shouts at Karma, demanding to know*

*Iris's breathing is calm and she appears peaceful now*

The Room

*Mergoux trembles in rage and takes a step towards Karma*
Mergoux: You. Will. Tell. Me. NOW.
*Her fists are bawled and her entire body is on edge and tensed AF*

The Room

*Mergoux's expression turns frighteningly intense*
Mergoux: Where?! Where did he go!? Show me now!!!

*Iris responds fairly well and is soon out of lethal danger*

The Room

*Mergoux frowns, remembering Iris*
Mergoux: yeah... I can see why they'd want her... But that just proves they're here! Who else was there!? Anyone?! Was there someone dressed in a purple robe?!

*Iris is pretty non-threatening considering she's half-dead, covered in her own blood and has a crossbow bolt in her ribcage*

The Room

*Mergoux folds her arms and looks at Karma*
Mergoux: I thought you was a bird, not a shape-changer. Do you know what happened here?

The Room

*Mergoux stares at Karma in confusion*
Mergoux: What the- Who's this?!

*Iris floats to the room and is probably deposited somewhere public*

The Room

*Mergoux nods and crouches low, walking slowly and trying to find any tracks*
Mergoux: Well then maybe you should call Karma if you can. Maybe there's something that bird could do to guide us..

*Iris is still out of it*

*Horus is in the gym*

The Room

*Mergoux frowns, pauses and draws her sword*
Mergoux: I smell something... smells like blood...
*She steps forwards into the clearing where Iris was previously*
Mergoux: Someone's been busy. Look at this!
*She dips her fingers in a pool of Iris's blood and stares at it*
Mergoux: It smells like blood...
*She darts her tongue out to taste it*
Mergoux: It's blood alright, but look, it's changing colors!
*She spots something on the other side of the clearing, walks over and picks up the severed finger of the Tigerlady*
Mergoux: Weretiger! We're on the right track then!

*Iris is still out of it*

The Room

*Mergoux frowns, not liking what she sees as arrogance*
Mergoux: Maybe... but I doubt you've met anything like The Twisted Shaman
*She walks along, entering the woods and heading towards Iris and Karma unbeknownst to her*

*Iris's breathing and heartrate slow down, prolonging her life*
