The Room

*Horus grips the knife, which is tiny in his hands*
Horus: Better than nothing!
*He stumbles to the right, dodging the tail, then rams the knife into it and attempts to tear open a long wound with it*

The Room

*Horus turns to face the beast*
Horus: Well if you've got any spare weapons... I'd appreciate being able to use them before I die...
*A tear rolls down his face as he thinks of Iris, then he roars at the beast*
Horus: Come on you overgrown gecko!

*Xan nods eagerly*
Xan: Please! End him! Now!
*She looks suddenly afraid at the mention of Tiaz*

The Room

*Xan nods to Lecter*
Xan: Xan. Why he not stay? You kill?!
*She seems excited at the prospect*

*Togan merely growls at them both as he's not allowed to really do much more than that*

*Horus keeps running*
Horus F&$*! Do you have anything that might distract it! Even for a moment!?

The Room

*Xan lost interest long before the Major simplified things and turns away to mock Togan*
Xan: Wait, human you still talk? Human talk too much.
*She frowns at the Major*

*Iris pales, this time out of fear than illness*
Iris: I w-what?
*She looks at Walter in confusion*
Iris: You mean I'm coldblooded now?!
*She looks down at Hanna then hugs back tightly*
Iris: I'm so sorry Hanna... You must have been terrified....

The Room

*Horus moves as quickly has he can, which by human standards is still pretty fast, even though he's badly injured*
Horus: If we live... you explain... how to... kill it...
*Keeps running hard towards the room*

*Xan frowns at Lecter*
Xan: Armed force? You mean not part of tribe? I am Warrior! Not see-vill-ee-ann.
*She looks defiantly at the Major then over at Karma*
Xan: Not normal bird? How?

The Room

*Iris shivers stop and she slowly opens her eyes, seeming weakened, but not as much as she was*
Iris:...Oh! Hanna!
*She loosens her grip on Hanna under the blankets and looks down at her, her scaly face obviously exhausted*
Iris: Hanna? What happened to me? I feel cold...

*Xan frowns in confusion and looks between Karma, Lecter and Togan*
Xan: Bird... beat Togan? How?!
*She looks incredulous*

*She then looks over at the Major and snarls*
Xan: What you call me human?!

The Room

*Horus sees the monster and would grit his teeth if he could*
Horus: Danu!
*He does his best to pick up the pace*
Horus: What the hell is that thing!?

*Xan creeps out from behind the couch. She's in her human form, that of a young, pretty blonde woman in her late teens/early twenties*
Xan: No shoot! Please! Not enemy! Not to you!
*She glares at Togan then looks back at Lecter*
Xan: He my enemy. You win? Ho-Khazet? You his master now?

The Room

*Togan glares at Lecter in hatred*
*He gurgles and chokes out a few words*
Togan: You... wrong... human...

*Iris presses her head and neck to the hot waterbottle and keeps holding Hanna close, tail wrapped around her legs, wings wrapped around them both, and her head pulled tightly to her chest*
*She's slowly regaining some color and her breathing becomes more steady*

*Xan grins in joy at seeing Togan beat. She slips from the kitchen, making darting movements closer and closer to Togan, hiding behind furniture and other things*
