Overlord Thraka

The Room

*Xan flinches at the gunshot as she was watching over by Zeta*
Xan: Loud!
*She frowns at the group*
Xan: What happening?

*Iris is concussed, but otherwise not seriously injured. She struggles to stay conscious as Hanna runs to her*
*She lies in a heap on the ground, the electric shocks having stopped as her scales dulled slightly to a softer blue*

*Horus staggers towards the gunshot*
Horus: Iris! Iris!

The Room

*Sydney screams as her head is split open*
*She collapses to the ground but keeps moving. She howls in agony*
Sydnay: AGGHHHH!!!

*Iris's eyes go even wider and if she could she would scream "NO!!" at Jillian. Her struggles increase further until she's slammed into the ground. The first slam surprises her, the second stuns her, all after that leave her in a near unconscious state. Blood dribbles from several cuts along her face from being slammed into small rocks and the ground in general. Her eyes are glazed and she strains not to black out*

*Horus lurches to his feet and makes it a few dozen steps before falling again, groaning in pain from a score of ailments and injuries*

The Room

*Iris struggles against her captor's grip again and the shocks increase in intensity once Hanna says she'll give up. Iris looks panicked and tries to face Hanna. She shakes her head furiously, eyes begging Hanna not to do this*

*Xan hears the gunshots and follows Zeta cautiously*
Xan: What happen!? Fighting!?

*Horus is woken by the faintsound of gunfire.*
Horus: What the- Iris!?
*He gets up then stumbles to his knees as every muscle in his body cries out with exhaustion and pain*

*Sydney gets hit and sent flying by the blade, but isn't bisected*
*Instead of charging right back in, she takes a moment to hang back, seemingly waiting for something*

The Room

*Xan shakes her head, then winces as she's still got a pretty nasty headache*
Xan: Not know. She say watch you, then leave.
*She rubs her temples, eyes screwed up*
Xan: Oof... Head hurt still. You better then? Keep getting better?

The Room

*Iris yells in pain*
Iris: Let go of me! What's going on!? Who are you!?
*She glares at Hugo in anger. Every heartbeat from her sends a shock into Hugo. Her anger, confusion and fear expunging the energy from her. Left with nowhere to go it zaps Hugo repeatedly*
Iris: Hanna! Hanna don't listen to him! Run and find Horus!
*She calls out desperately to Hanna, willing her to do as she's bidden*
*All the while she continues to struggle, her enhanced strength seemingly useless.*

The Room

*Iris's eyes widen and she turns, just in time to get snatched by the arm*
Iris: AHHH! LET GO OF MEE!
*Her body glows as energy crackles over her torso, shocking Hugo*
*She tries to break his grip, flapping her wings and kicking wildly. If some of the spikes rub against her, they probably scrape against her scales with a horrible grating sound. If they're sharp enough then they punch through, making her scream in pain*

The Room

*Iris hears Hanna and quickly walks outside. She looks up at the roof and sighs with relief*
Iris: Oh Hanna... You're okay! Good, I was worried...
*She looks upset*
Iris: Could you come down please? I want to apologize... I was wrong with what I said before.
*She looks ashamed of herself and her actions. She pays no attention to Hugo either, completely focused on Hanna and her apology*

*Sydney roars and leaps at the Scarecrow*
Sydney: F*#& off you tossa!

The Room

*Iris nods and smiles gratefully*
Iris: Thank you. I'm...
*She pauses, thinking. She realizes that now she's changed, she can't keep the name Iris anymore.*
Iris: Well... for now you may call me Iris, thought that's subject to change.
*She beckons for Hugo to follow her*
Iris: Come on then, let's go find her. Her name's Hanna by the way.
*She walks towards the door to the outside, still calling Hanna's name*

The Room

*Xan holds out the knawed on leg of Ham to Zeta silently, obviously offering some to her*
*Once she sees Zeta found biscuits she goes back to chewing on her leg*
Xan: (Crunch crunch) You good? Rested?

*Sydney howls as her wrist snaps. However she does have two, so she swings the second one as hard as she can towards the Scarecrow's face*

The Room

*Xan wakes as her name is called*
Xan: Huh? Cuu? Oh! Yes Jillian. I watch.
*She hops off the couch, walks over to the sleeping Zeta and sits down beside her. She gets up two seconds later to fetch herself something to eat, then sits back down, knawing on a cold leg of ham

*Iris comes out of the library. She looks defeated and depressed, upset over how she dealt with Hanna. She knows Hanna was just doing what she was told, and doesn't blame her. Instead she blames herself for reacting so harshly towards her adopted-daughter*
Iris: I've got to make this right...
*She goes to her room, to put on some 'proper' clothes. She has a little difficulty with her wings and the ridges on her back, not to mention her tail, but finally manages to wriggle into her usual half-shirt and short shorts.*
*She walks into the kitchen, looking again for Hanna, but spots Hugo instead*
Iris: Oh! Excuse me, have you seen a young girl, about 18? I've need to find her! It's very important!
*Her skin is electric blue now, not the softer duller shade it was before her encounter with the bat*
