The Room

*Horus takes a step forwards as Vaseraga throws his scythe. He glares at Vase in almost as much fury as Zeta. Seeing him attack Zeta to shut her up and stop her revealing what he didn't want revealed is enough for Horus. He's made his mind up on the topic*
Horus: That's all I need to see. Adapting with the times? That's not what I'd call it. I'd call it a perversion of what seems to be your original purpose. If Zeta here is telling the truth, then you're no better than a murdering scumbag.
*He looks at Jillian and Lecter*
Horus: All in favor of slaying the aggressor here? Or at least sending him well on his way with a good kick in the ass?
*He nods to Vaseraga as he joins Zeta's side with Xan*
Xan: He die! Bad beast!

The Room

*Xan looks back at Zeta*
Xan: I make pledge to protect you. I protect you, keep honor. I break pledge, I lose honor. Not lose honor. Keep pledge, protect friend.
*She states this simply like a fact then turns back to the ones reasoning with Vaseraga*
Xan: You hear! Not kill unless kill me first!
*Horus sighs and facepalms before finally raising his voice. When he does it's a bellow that has lead armies and leaves most of the people there with their ears ringing*
Horus: ENOUGH! I have no intention of harming anyone! No-one is going to kill anyone until we get to the bottom of this! Now, you!
*He points at Vaseraga*
Horus: This book, what is it and why should you have it?
*He points to Zeta*
Horus: You, same question.

The Room

*Horus frowns and nods to Jillian before turning back to Vaseraga, Zeta and Xan*
Horus: Alright, let's see this book, and get some questions answered before anyone kills anyone okay?
*He's trying to de-escalate the situation when the Major and the Dr walk up*
Horus: What? Oh it's you and... Hm. Alright. I am Horus, the Avenger.
*His frown deepens at the mention of Ghouls, then relaxes as he realizes they're not talking about beings like Hanna*
Horus: We'll keep an eye out... Now if you'll excuse me...
*He looks back at the trio of people ready to kill each other*
Horus: Everyone stand down, now.
*He makes sure his message comes across as a command and not simply a request*

*Tiaz laughs as the tendrils impale him. Black blood oozes from his mouth and the wounds but they seem to barely affect him, if at all*
Tiaz: You're right! But I am one thing. I am the most powerful shaman you'll ever meet!
*He slams his fist into the ground again, and bright white flames engulf him, dealing damage to the tendrils like the blast before, but not harming so much as a whisker of Tiaz's tiger face*

The Room

*Horus frowns. He fully believes Vaseraga's notion that a book could end the world, as there is one that he knows of that could end many worlds simultaniously*
Horus: Jillian don't be so doubtful. There are books that contain secrets of magic, spells so powerful they could evaporate this world in a heartbeat. I knew only of one however, I knew nothing of this.
*He looks between Zeta and Vaseraga*
Horus: She stole it from you, but why did you have it in the first place? What were your intentions with the book?
*He's long since learned to keep a straight face at all times*

*Tiaz roars in pain and fear as his cloak catches fire. He beats it out then lands clumsily, nearly falling over as his bad leg collapses under him*
Tiaz: You dare! I will show you the might of my power!
*He raises the skull and another jet of flame shoots forth. This one however is pure white, and since Be'Lak is a devil and evil it burns him on contact with the power of holiness*

*Xan growls and allows herself to be leaned on*
Xan: No man kill you! I protect! You friend!
*She looks back at Zeta and nods once before turning her gaze back to those she fears wish to hurt her friend*

The Room

*Xan snarls at Vaseraga and places herself between him and Zeta*
Xan: Du nix jak Zeta! Not kill! You have to kill me first!
*She slowly backs towards Zeta, making sure to body-block her from Vaseraga as much as possible*

*Horus frowns. The new man seems polite enough, but there's still something Horus can't shake about him. Not knowing Zeta really at all he turns to Jillian*
Horus: Jillian, perhaps you know what's going on better than I. Do you know any of these people? Know if any are trustworthy?
*He particularly looks at Xan, as all he's really seen of her is her aggressiveness and loyalty to Zeta*

The Room

*Horus readies himself for combat. He doesn't like the look of the being before him*
Horus: Explain yourself! Now!
*He frowns between Zeta and Vaseraga*
Horus: If you both want to fight, so help me Danu you'd better do it outside. This place is damaged enough without you crashing through walls.
*He's entirely aware that he's busted through several walls aready*

*Xan looks at Jillian and Zeta, just waiting for any signal to attack again*

The Room

Name: Horus the Avenger

Age: Over 30,000 but he's forgotten the precise amount

Fandom (If anything): Mostly original, but very loosely based on The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel

Skills: All styles of Combat. He is a master warrior in every sense of the word. An expert with swords, spears, bows, axes, rifles, pistols, rocket launchers, you name it he's wielded it before in combat with high effectiveness.

He's also a master mechanic and tinkerer. He's no scientist however, he can build any machine, but is lousy with computers or some more advanced tech.

He's enormously strong, capable if lifting nearly 10 tons, and is surprisingly fast for his size. He is a master of virtually all martial arts from Earth as well as boxing and kickboxing. Basically he could kick your butt 7 ways to Sunday without breaking a sweat.

Limited Magic. His species has powerful magical abilities derived from their Aura. A electrical field surrounding the body. Harnessing this field his race can cast powerful magicks. Horus however has focused entirely on his physical prowess and has very little talent at magic

Fears: Losing his lover Iris. Not being able to protect those he cares about.

Likes: Combat. Tinkering. Exercising. Booze. Wrestling on TV. MMA. Disney Films (Mostly because Iris likes them). Cars. Working on Cars. Car magazines. And of course, his lover Iris and the fun times they have together.

Hates: Combat. Monsters in general. Warlords. Slavery. Arrogance. Beings who think little of humans and hurt them. Superhero movies. VW Beetles. Stand up comedy.
Description: Horus is a giant of a being. Over 9 feet tall and weighing over 1000 pounds he is built of solid muscle. His body otherwise looks pretty much human, except that his head is that of a hawk with white and black plumage and a yellow beak.
He dresses a lot like a lumberjack. Heavy working boots, jeans and usual a checkered flannel with the sleeves rolled to his elbows
His entire body is covered in old scars and wounds. There is barely a patch of skin unmarked by them

Background: Horus was born long ago in the city of Danu Talis, more commonly remembered as Atlantis. His lived among his kin, a race known as Elders. They were not all like him however as Elders starts their life looking more or less human, then become affected by something called 'The Change' as they grow older. An Elders body will change and malform seemingly at random. Horus's change gave him his massive strength, size and bird's head.

He lived on Danu Talis for many thousands of years with his parents, Isis and Osiris, and his sister, Nepthys. It was there he met his sister's best friend Iris, and fell in love. They courted for centuries when the shattering happened. Danu Talis was torn apart by dozens of natural disasters, seemingly having come out of nowhere. As a result he lost it all. His sister murdered, and his lover taken by his own parents, for they had been behind the destruction of the city.

He spent the next 10,000 years trying to find and kill his own parents for their horrible crimes, not only for the death of his sister, but for the millions of deaths they had caused by destroying Danu Talis. Finally, with the aide of a powerful Elf warlock, he managed to recover his lover and put an end to Isis and Osiris. That was over 5,000 years ago. Since then he has helped humanity from the shadows, slaying monsters and others who posed a threat to humankind.

He founds himself at the room under mysterious circumstances, having been on the run with his lover and their adopted daughter Hanna after rescuing the girl from a evil science lab

*Xan snarls at Jillian, momentarily distracted and gets knocked off. She rolls into a ball and comes up snarling*
Xan: No! He hurt Zeta! I kill!

*Horus actually goes to the kitchen, sees the fight and is about to start swinging when Jillian speaks*
Horus: Jillian, what is this?
*He glares at Vaseraga*
Horus: Who the blazes are you?

The Room

*Xan bites at the hand that tries to slap her away. He's growling in anger*
Xan: Leave Zeta alone! You hurt her, I kill you!
