Sorry for the inconveniance but I'm new to the site, I saw your post and was wondering if I could join you? If so, how does one go about making a character here, and where would I post plays?

You are welcome to join. Each roleplay thread (not interest check) has three tabs which you can see near the top of the page. There's the IC, the OOC (where we are now) and the Characters (where you should post your character for approval.) The character sheet can be found at the first page and don't forget to read the rules and other important bits.

As for your app, I think it is a little extreme. You have your guy killing his parents and selling their organs for money, I think there were quite a few different roads he could have taken. I understand you wanted a threatening villain to play as, but I do feel like you're used to more extreme or more sensitive RP's than this. Meaning I'm probably not going to talk about dissecting people and selling their innards. I deny you on the basis that this just wouldn't be your cup of tea, and that you probably could have censored a few things or replaced them with something else entirely.

Don't worry bruh, I'm flexible. It's just that I applied as that dude 'cause I missed the tone of the RP. (Apparently I'm a sociopath.) If a second chance is available, I'll gladly put in a supervillain duo who is more light but just as threatening.

Arisu Arata (BlackCat) "Oooh, a foxy lady. What're you gonna do? Curse me?" Keith taunted you as you stepped forward. However, your lunge caught the mercenary off guard and he could not react in time. In mere moments, your nails have dug in his uniform deep enough for blood to leak. "Ahh!" Keith made a rather girly yell in pain. The mercenary retaliated with a swift headbutt that knocked you off him by a couple of feet. "Not bad, fox. Wanna go out sometime?" The mercenary offered. The wounds on his body, meanwhile, seemed to heal almost instantaneously. Soon, the wounds you inflicted were soon gone as if you had not harmed him at all. "Pretty cool ain't it. Complete immortality." Keith said before charging at you with his katanas, intending to slash you. "Remember, don't hold back~!" Elizabeth reminded you from the sidelines. Yamimori and Akai Kurokawa (Polaris North) David Alexander Robin (TheHangedMan) Casper Warrick (KaelRavenheart) Elizabeth detected the sarcasm in David's voice though still responded politely. "Oh, you must have met Rinko. Yes, she's quite reserved isn't she?" After David asked your second question, she immediately had an answer. "Well, first please introduce yourself and after that, you must demonstrate your powers by challenging that man in black." She then pointed at Keith who was seen headbutting the fox girl away from him. His wounds sustained from Arisu healing back into shape in mere seconds. As the fight went on and after David had introduced himself, Ant Girl noticed someone new among the spectators. Elizabeth approached the person in question. "Excuse me, sir." Ant Girl called for Casper's attention. "It seems you are one of the new applicants. Please introduce yourself." Jacob Nielsen (Nylic) "It's up to you, kid." Barracuda answered. "C.I.A. don't really care 'cause it's beneficial either way." With that, the two of you leapt into the portal to Rome. The trip was incredibly short, as soon as you entered you immediately saw the other side and the place you jumped into seemed exactly the same. The same computers, the same people, the same glass room on the other side. However after entering Rome, you feel as if you're not completely there. "Feeling something, kid?" Barracuda asked, obviously knowing what you were feeling. "That's the slowest cells in your body catching up. You'll get used to it." "The scientists recommend a minute in staying near the portal so these cells can get back in your body. Nothing really harmful if you don't but let's stay so you can familiarize the feeling." The super agent told you. "How about some small talk? I heard your name was Jacob? Got an alias?"

Holy cow. I took a day off to study Economics and suddenly s*** happens. Okay I wanna clarify, am I accepted or not? No? Cool. Yes? Super cool. Also, I want to address one thing.

They are ridiculously over-the-top dark. Seriously, what do you honestly expect to happen when, tonally(at least from what I've seen) this is supposed to not be too far off from the Teen Titans cartoon. Which had a brain in a jar and a talking Gorilla as some of the final villains. I mean, they were serious and it's been ages but I remember it being a really cool arc, but they were still a brain in a jar and a talking Gorilla. Not "organ thief druglord who murdered his own parents for basically no reason aside from evil crazy and who imprisoning will somehow just make things worse". This isn't some super-dark, gritty, "realistic but not really" RP.

Yes I remember that episode. 'Twas epic. But let us not forget Slade a.k.a. Deathstroke. The guy whose appearance marks the end of comedy, the guy who poisoned the Titans just to get Robin to work for him, the guy who tempted Terra to betray the Titans, the guy who almost killed Robin even when he was dead, the guy who helped bring about the end of the world just so he could live again (though did save it 'cause Trigon ratted him out). Though I understand if mah boi's worse than Deathstroke. Mah boi operates within the realm of possibility and thus much more unsettling than Slade.

This will be a very "Slice of Life" RP. Try not to make your character focused on combat, unless you're willing to RP them out to the fullest extent.

Ladies and gents! I give you, Black Mask! Name: Richard Contiello Alias: Drug Lord Age: 19 Personality: -Richard has a very brutal and sadistic personality. His temper is certainly not the best in the world and cares very little for his employees though he will not waste men if it is not necessary. (Unless he is angry.) Powers: -Richard has no powers besides an extensive knowledge about chemicals, poisons and drugs and some knowledge in martial arts. Equipment: -A necklace of colored pins. Three yellow, three blue and three red. Yellow pins are coated with a paralysis poison, blue pins induces unconsciousness and amnesia and red pins induces uncontrollable rage. -Two knives hidden on each foot. Weakness: -Richard is a regular human and so is vulnerable to anything a super can do to him. Appearance: -Standing at an average height of 5'7, Richard has a handsome face with short blond hair and sky blue eyes. He usually wears a fancy tuxedo when he is out in public and switches to his more casual clothes when he is not but he always wears a necklace of pins of varying colors and a knife on each foot. He has a skull mask which he uses when he is at 'work'. Bio: -Richard was born in a simple but beautiful family who lived in a farm the outskirts of a small town in Oregon. Richard grew up seeing rich kids in T.V. flaunt their possessions, possessions young Richard would do anything to have. However his simple family could not afford those kind of things and this made Richard angry. Thus Richard vented his anger by capturing small animals in the forest and brutally dissecting them alive and decorating the forestry with their entrails. When Richard reached 19, he watched the rich kids in the media continue to flaunt their wealth. Richard could take this anymore and decided to kill his family, harvest their organs and burn down their house. He then promptly sold the organs to a client which netted him enough money to enter and become a major player in the criminal underworld, his violent and unfettered personality eventually subjugating much of his rivals. Currently, Richard deals in organ harvesting, drug smuggling and arms dealing. Arc Ideas: -Oooh, do one where after the heroes take down Richard, the underworld becomes five times more violent since there's a power vacuum. Other: -To protect himself from supers, Richard employs supers available for hire. Lemme know if there's anything wrong.
