A quick-written farewell letter. That was all Lord Oja had to bid farewell to his vassal Kenji. The Yang was not at all displeased about this. His Lord was never a man of words, always keeping it forward and blunt in both oral and written. "Tell Lord Oja farewell as well." Kenji ordered the Oja messenger. "And to pray for our success." The messenger bowed and went on his way just as Kenji did along with his compatriots. The village also bid them farewell, some believing they were a lost cause while some believing they will return in one piece. Kenji really preferred the latter.

In time, the guide had appeared and introduced himself as Takumi of the Kunteki Clan. He was from Naji but assured the group that will not get in the way of his job. Yuudai was the first to speak up then Jiang then the halfling Gin. Their conversation was mainly about where to search first and the three routes include the Shima village Uta, the village of Ru or the bandits' route. The third one was no doubt dangerous and so Jiang and Takumi turned to the others for the group's decision.

"If I may," Kenji spoke up. "We already know the village of Uta may be helpful since likely everyone there would cooperate with our search. However, the thieves may know this and so might not go there at all... or they could and use magic to properly conceal themselves. The village of Ru, on the other hand, is their logical choice to flee since it is outside Shima influence. The villagers there, however, may require more to cooperate or they may be in agreement with the thieves' not to reveal their location."

"The third route, while dangerous, may provide the most information since it is bandits and vagabonds who are most knowledgeable in the latest gossips of plots and schemes." Kenji finished. "Or so I believe. I am merely relaying my thoughts and I could be wrong in everything I said."
DIS AR PEE IZ DED!!!!

Just kidding, we just gotta be patient and persevere.
Hey @mcpop9, you still in the game? Is Cage too obnoxious for you?
So back on topic the question will arise
would you like this to be a small group or 1on1?

It's really up to you.
Has anyone seen my man Mackie Poppie?
Stuff

Don't you think it's a wee bit complicated? It will also require the dedication of many players which is as rare as vibranium. It will also take up some threads which may seem... interjecting? Assertive? I don't know the word. Me no English well.

Anyway, here's my proposed idea. It's a wee bit simpler and it may be crossing into stuff nobody likes.

I have little knowledge about HSDxD so I'll need help with the canon.
Kenji's day has already has gone sour thanks to Shinja showing him off but Kenji took a sharp inhale and purged the bad thoughts off his head. He then turned back to Lord Shima who was conversing with some of the fellowship. Kenji also wanted to say some words to the Daimyo and so made his way to him. By the time he reached Lord Shima, the Daimyo was talking to the half-Oni Yuudai. The mystic promised Lord Shima that the mission would succeed since she did not like the Daimyo in a worried state. Lord Tenzin simply laughed the notion off and let Yuudai know that he was confident that the fellowship would succeed which would lead to a celebration and possibly marriage for the half-Oni into the Shima family. Kenji raised an eyebrow at that and while it was unusual, it was possible given the family's viewpoints.

Once Yuudai was done, it was Kenji's turn. "Lord Shima." The Yang bowed at the Daimyo. He was always thankful for Lord Tenzin Shima. The Daimyo who let the Oja survivors settle near their home with little question, even befriending the small clan and not assimilating it into their own like the logical action. "It is an honor to participate in this venture. And like, Miss Wakahisa said, we promise the return the relics."

"But... please do be careful around my fellow servant, Shinja Harada." Kenji warned. "If he tries anything, I ask of you not to hold it against the Oja."

Sure. Why not?
@PaulHaynek

I just realized reading it over, the elf was knocked unconscious by the magic spell, I think you have to tweak your post a little bit.

On it.
Me is interested. With (probably bad) ideas if you want.
