Didn't we already do this? I was Alex Mercer that time!

Anyway, glad this is making a comeback.
The two Church members made their way through the city towards the abandoned church where Calvin had set up shop. It would be quite a while before they get there and the priest figured it was time to get to know his partner. He would have preferred the Silver Knight or the Golden Pillar, friends he had in the Vatican but an inexperienced, clumsy nun should not be too bad, he thought.

"Rika..." Calvin started. "May I ask how again you came to be my partner?" He asked. "I mean, did you ask for it? Or were you simply assigned to me for no reason? A recommendation perhaps?"
Silently observing from the structure's roof, Kuai, in his masked form, watched as a group of differing races interacted with one another. He saw a quite cartoonish gorilla, a purple horse, two gigantic robots and a group of maybe humans with differing clothing. No different than if all the defenders of Earthrealm had come together to chat and mingle. The cryomancer figured he would get some form of answer if he approached this group but at the same time, they looked unbelievably unpredictable and he might be better off to go investigate the matter by himself.

Overhead, he saw a girl with the clothes of a Japanese shrine maiden floating in the air and after a few moments, she was approached by the purple horse who apparently has the ability to fly and speak the human language. Sub-Zero continued to watch and soon some of those in the ground had left to go somewhere. Another mystery to add along with where he was, how to get back to Earthrealm and how to make sure this incident never repeats again.

Letting out a sigh, Kuai figured it would be better to go solo but then again, these people could be his first leads to solving the problem. However, they looked as lost as he was and their appearances suggest that they did not come from the same place. If so, then they might not lead him anywhere but they could be potential allies in the endeavor.

Looking up the sky again, he saw the aforementioned shrine maiden and purple horse still talking to each other. He had heard the girl ask what was going on and decided to entertain the question. "You two there! In the sky!" Sub-Zero called out to them. "I may have insight as to what is happening here."

@Shoryu@Black Alice
This is going way too fast for me to catch up. Maybe it is best if I leave?

P.S. And I was working on an FE Robin character.
GAT ROOM FOR ONE MAR?

*Name: Kuai Liang a.k.a. Sub-Zero II
*Universe: Mortal Kombat (Reboot)
*Appearance:

*Personality:
Once Kuai was a devoted assassin of the Lin Kuei but in recent events, he is now the wise and benevolent Grand Master of the Lin Kuei. With that, he is a polite and kind man to those who are hostile to him. Unfortunately, he is sometimes forced to combat opponents who are good-natured. Such fights evokes regret from Sub-Zero.

A servant of justice, Kuai is quick to intervene in defusing matters that would surely lead to violence. However, this does not mean he is not fearsome fighter as he would gladly use violence to solve particular disputes.

*Powers/Skills:
=Complete control over the ice element.
=Able to flash freeze opponents for a brief amount of time via ice orbs, ice beams or ice clone
=Able to form weapons made of ice
=Martial Arts with above average strength

*Brief Bio:
"Kuai Liang and his older brother, Bi-Han, served the Lin Kuei assasin clan faithfully until the first Mortal Kombat tournament. There Bi-Han, codename Sub-Zero, was killed by the demon Scorpion. Kuai Liang assumed the Sub-Zero name and went to Outworld to find his brother's killer. Meanwhile, the leadership of the Lin Kuei embarked on the Cyber Initiative, converting its members to cybernetic ninjas to increase their efficiency and remove their human imperfections. Kuai Liang was captured and converted. Eventually, Raiden and the defenders of Earthrealm restored his soul, and he joined their cause. He was later killed in the Outworld invasion, his soul claimed by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi. Sub-Zero served the demon realm during its subsequent war with Earthrealm. Returned to humanity by Raiden in the aftermath, Sub-Zero rebuilt the Lin Kuei--this time as a benevolent organization dedicated to the protection of Earthrealm.

After the incident involving the fallen Elder God Shinnok, Kuai had caught wind of some portal disturbances between the realms. He went forth to investigate, knowing little that this investigation would turn out to be an adventure.
"

*Equipment:
=Ice Weapons, particularly the Kori Blade, Sub-Zero's signature weapon

*Others: Can one make more than one character?
The last Fate RP I was in died. I was a Hollywood Star and my partner was a shrine maiden. Good times.

Anyway, color me interested.
IS THAT A BUMP I HEAR? I, PAUL-MAN, WILL SAVE THE DAY!

I have an interesting take on the Kitsune plot, if you're willing.
Don't see @Penultimate_Pi anywhere.
Enemies: 20+5

@Eklispe
After you had knocked down the first spearman, a lance had thrust upon your shield. It was too weak to pierce but it did push you slightly away and prevent you from finishing off the first Orcish spearman.

They were, however, helpless when you started spinning and they had enough semblance of self-preservation not to approach you, their spears instead pointed at you but not attacking.

Relocating over to the archer still spinning, you knock down the first Orc and startling the other two. Like you had thought, the spearmen have begun making their way towards you and the undead archer while four Orcish archers had taken aim at you and your ally.

To make matters worse, five of the fallen Orcs had truly risen near you. They looked muscular than before and had formed mouths on their faceless head. Jagged, sharp teeth was what filled those mouths and they proceeded to lunge at you in all fours like animals. Their summoner still held his staff high, no doubt to raise even more Orcs. It does look vulnerable though.

@Penultimate_Pi
Taking down two Orcs with boosted reflexes, your ally had blocked the Orc coming at your front and you had taken aim at the spearmen coming for the two of you while the four remaining archers had begun aiming.

To make matters worse, five of the fallen Orcs had truly risen near you. They looked muscular than before and had formed mouths on their faceless head. Jagged, sharp teeth was what filled those mouths and they proceeded to lunge at your pointy-eared companion in all fours like animals. Their summoner still held his staff high, no doubt to raise even more Orcs. He does look vulnerable though.
Sorry for the long gaps between updates.

I'm working on a complex RP somewhere else but rest assured this is something that shall not be forgotten.

...Yet.
