Wow, you guys work fast. Alright then, I won't hold back.

Let me know if I missed something in my post, I tried to respect the various things happening.
Well, I can wait on my post till Mara replies. Have to know what everyone is gonna do before I continue.

@PlatinumSkink Seeing as you are right, this is an unofficial battle. Technically, there are no rules on how to do this. I'm just surprised it's the good guy attacking Charley directly first. Of course, since you decided that trainers are on the menu, I might have to escalate this higher.
The Red Hand

Charley

Dewmeadow

@PlatinumSkink @Morose @Hatakekuro

Monster, no respect, predator. These words were used when he was rejected from The Red Hand. It didn't make sense to him, he thought anyone was allowed in. He had power, so why wasn't he a shoe in for the group? He sat there on a bridge as he contemplated these questions. He had a get rich plan and it was going pretty well. Charge a high price to cross the bridge, and destroy anyone who doesn't cough up. It's been quiet for a while, but new trainers had to cross this bridge to get to Dewmeadow. The rapids below were too ferocious for them to cross any other way, and he has been exploiting this.

He looked around, the bridge seemed old, but it still held strong. The rapids caused the rocks below to become sharp at the top, further reason to use this thing. His Pokemon seemed bored from just sitting around and wanted something to eat. He sat there thinking to himself. Most new Pokemon only had tackle, which would be funny to watch their dreams go down the drain much like his did. If they tried to fly over, a few Rock Blasts would ground them quickly. He smirked, this was all too easy.

It was looking to be a boring day, all this dirt and mud everywhere. It was quiet for a bit, till he spotted more trainers in the distance. Oddly, they weren't looking to enter Dewmeadow, but leave it. That means they probably had Pokemon and more importantly, money. He peered over the edge of the bridge, quite a long fall if someone fell down. All that water and rock, gonna be painful. Push come to shove, sending them over should be a good finisher.

There were three of them, a girl up to her knees in mud, some guy with what appeared to be a flying bug, and a shorter trainer with what appeared to be some kind of cat. Two of them were asking him to move aside, that's not how it works around here. The third one looked ready to say something but was quickly cut off. He crossed his arms, his Pokemon's claws snapping with anticipation. He stood tall and glared at them, preparing to speak.

He held up his hand in a stopping motion, "Sorry, this bridge here is under the protection of The Red Hand. You won't be crossing, for free. The toll is 600 Pokedollars per trainer and 100 for each Pokemon. If you for some reason can't afford the toll, then it looks I'm gonna have to beat what you have out of you." With that said, he cracked his knuckles for dramatic effect. His crustacean like Pokemon looking ready to attack if they dared to move in any direction. A silence in the area allowed his words to echo a small amount, letting it sink in.

Inventory:
??? Pokedollars

Pokemon:
???
I'm sorry, its a little to complex for me to understand. I'm bowing out of interest in this one.
Randar Xenil

Randar was lost in his thoughts when some girl approached him. The first thing to come to mind was the amount of blue she had on her. Blue skirt, sweater, and hair. She was a bit taller than him, he quickly shook the thought from his head. Another person who arrived early, didn't look like she was his opponent. She looked nice enough, no idea where her Spirit was, not like he could complain though. His was a small distance from the area.

He looked at Farrah and decided to open his mouth. "Hello, my names Randar, what's yours?" He wasn't good at this small talk thing, be he was gonna make an effort this time. "So, it's nice to see someone else who takes this competition seriously by showing up early. Well, I guess some of us had a good excuse what with the Dissonance that appeared earlier. So, this place is amazing right? Even if I disagree with the shield rule for the people involved. Sorry, I'm rambling, aren't I?"

He was partly nervous for the competition, the other half for introductions. She could be his opponent along the way, so he wanted to figure out her Spirit. Not like it mattered, overwhelming strength was a pretty good tactic anyways. He extended his hand, to offer a handshake.

As he took a quick glance around, more Song Knights were arriving. Randar recognized two of them from the Dissonance fight. One was the guy covered in a shield, the other... A quick sigh escaped his breath, Mary showed up. One of them mentioned a large Spirit, causing him to notice a rather large green Dragon, well I guess about 20 feet was large. Quickly dismissing the others, he turned back to Farrah to pay attention to what she said.
Alright, just wanted to make sure before I post something I shouldn't. The one post thing sounded like there was a rush to get to the action. Since you say it's fine, Ill get a post later today for talking with Farrah, since she seemed so thrilled to be in the presence of a true Song Knight.
@tex Personally, I've been keeping up with all of the stories here. Sometimes it is a lot to read, and other times I can't read because I'm laughing to hard to continue. Every area has interesting things going on, and occasional odd situations that arise. Like a Mareep covered in String Shot using Rollout, Katamari Damacy style.

I personally encourage reading what happens outside your bubble if you have the spare time. As Whimsley said, it is by no means required to continue though.
Well, two people got their post up, so the trickle effect is happening. I'm sure they will get their post in by the deadline. Otherwise it is gonna be a short competition

First to post, as always. Guess I'll sit in the corner till I fall asleep waiting for everyone.

@Kol Kol said we had one free post before the fight, so are we not allowed to post for conversations while we wait?
Randar Xenil

Finally arriving at the Imperial Coliseum, Randar was a little surprised at being the first one there. Guess the back roads were shorter routes. He gave a shrug, it worked out either way for him. After quickly filling out his papers, he decided to look up the list for the opponents. Lets see here, it was him versus... Josiah Everett. Randar had no idea who that was, that was the bad news. Looks like he needed to keep a look out for this guy when he finally showed up.

Being so early, he also went to check how the rules worked around here. After reading a few paragraphs, he stopped. His eyes fixed on a seemingly normal detail. To no one in particular, he ended up blurting out, "No no no no, shields? We are using shields? That's ridiculous." He knew safety was a concern for the audience. After all, Innocent bystanders could be hurt otherwise. Shields meant fairness on both sides, helping the weak stand up to the strong. Shields can't be healed, they don't care about elemental weaknesses and strengths. They probably didn't take into account the toughness of the person it was cast on. The use of shields left him standing there. His plan, was now useless.

He went into overdrive trying to come up with a new plan. Lucky he arrived so early, he needed time to change his plan. He placed his hands over his head, this wasn't how his competition went. With a loud groan, he started to pace around the room. 90 second rounds, that was the only good part. It meant an all in shot would be fine if it came down to it.

Maybe the rules would shake up his opponent as well, not likely. Death match rules, he didn't have a second chance if he let this detail beat him. He quickly headed outside and told Cothyl, "The plan changed, we're going with the second round plan."

Cothyl just looked at him and replied, "Are you alright? You look pretty shaken up." Randar wasn't usually this freaked out. Not before the big fight he was waiting for, guess something changed. With a nod, Cothyl headed a distance from the Coliseum, if he wanted plan B, then there was no point to avoiding people. He almost felt bad for the opponent, at least it was still a nice day. He should be able to prepare plan B in time.

Randar sat down. A bigger target was a risk, but if Cothyl landed a hit, the match would be over pretty fast. No time to mess around, he won't be beaten on the first round. At least he could take a chance and do some small chat with the other competitors as they arrived, well except Mary. In the meantime, he got lost in his thoughts on how he was gonna pull this off.
@Whimsley I have to agree with PlatinumSkink. The fact that you are keeping up with the events of four groups while simultaneously handling "other" things is nothing short of impressive. Frankly, you deserve some sort of high five for the amount of dedication you are giving to this RP. Your posts don't have that feeling of someone rushing a post for the sake of not falling behind. I'm kind of curious to how long your posts take to write at this point. Man, now I feel like I mostly repeated his words now.
