Here you go. The first and last posts are largely unchanged, but the middle one on the character sheet section and immediately below it has received some updates. Not in the list of classes, but other things around it.

Feel free to do as you please.

Oh, and thanks to 71342 for the image of the bad guy to the left.

Contents of the world of Magvel

You don’t need to read it if you don’t want to, all you really need to know is Jehanna is attacking Grado, you can’t win, let us flee. The above two posts will do fine, this is all just extra effort of mine.

Renais

Frelia

Jehanna

Grado

Rausten

Carcino

Caer Pelyn

That should be all. Have at it.

This roleplay is currently accepting more players, but it would help if any new characters are created so they may easily join the plot.

Character Sheet

Name: What your name is, OR what you want people to call you. If you want people to call you “Raven” because saying that your name is Raymond would attract unwanted attention, then feel free to write “Raven” here. And remember, in Fire Emblem there are no last names.
Appearance: How you look like according to someone seeing you for the first time. Fire Emblem is anime-inspired, so I do not mind at all if you use an image. I mean, I have painstakingly searched for an image for every single named NPC I’ve created so far (except Rioga, because one or more of you might be creating his children (Grado Lords), I don’t want his hair and eye color to be set due to your freedom (nop! He has image too, now!)), so I would like if you could do the same, but you don’t have to, really… I use safebooru to find images.
Apparent Age: Fire Emblem rarely mentions the age of the characters, it seems like. As such, there is no requirement to state the exact age of your character, “Young adult” or “Elder lady” are acceptable answers. Actually, I never use numbers for the NPCs, so you might be odd if you do. … And yeah, in case of Manaketes, they don’t need to write their real age. Just remember that humans shouldn’t use this to disguise being younger/older than they really are.
Gender: Male or female. … If you’re hiding your gender by whatever reason, you can write the gender you’re trying to be here. Unless it is obvious, in which case I’ll deny it.
Nation: The nation which you consider home. If you’re originally from one nation but grew up in another and consider that other home or any other special circumstances, write that as well. If you’d like to keep it secret, feel free.
Class: The class which you trained to become a part of. Use the class-chart to determine where you want to be. Any complaints or suggestions should be routed directly to me.
Weapon Mastery: Using the skill chart, inform us how good you are with the weapons your class allow you to wield. Don’t even try wielding something that isn’t on it, you’ll hurt yourself.
Level: To give us a sense of how strong you really are. Weapon Mastery does this to a degree, but this is another one. So, 1-20? 1-10 in case of Trainee… And any pre-promoted has to pick 1. Fire Emblem tradition. Since we do not have experience, you will go up a level when I say you do. … But I will be factoring in your performance, so stealing EXP is still extremely possible.
Background: If you want to, write your background into the character sheet here. If you don’t want to, simply write “secret!” here and send me the backstory for approval instead. Feel free to leave loose ends of story which I can abuse later as the GM to strike right back at you with. Possibly using characters mentioned in it. Tihi. You’re also perfectly free to link your story to existing characters that I have mentioned, like kings or such, or even to characters I haven’t created that might be princes or princesses of other nations or other highly esteemed people that I have no idea of. If it isn’t acceptable I’ll say so, otherwise, feel free and I’ll adapt the story to that~
Plot-Susceptive: “Yes” or “no”. “No” means that you will, except for whatever development you go through in the future, never have been more than what you write in this sheet, you’re simply moving along experiencing the story without me touching you in any inappropriate way. “Yes” means that you open yourself up to be involved in the story in a more significant way than maybe you yourself could imagine. It allows me to consider your backstory and make appropriate twists to surprise you and those around you, but I will of course ask before making any significant development in case you do not agree. For example, if two of you were playing Ephraim and Eirika I might ask “Would you be okay to have been childhood friend with the prince of Grado, Lyon?” and then we’d go develop that… And yeah. If uninterested, simply put “No”, and you’ll have full control of your life yourself, except for what you might be running into.
Equipment and Items: Things you start with. Will probably be changed over time, feel free to make edit here when it happens. Don’t go overboard, normal people don’t carry five axes. And a peasant probably doesn’t have a Silver Sword. Just saying.

Optional fields you don’t need to have but can if you want to.
Personality: How your character acts and thinks about the world around him or her and what this individual is likely to be perceived as. I was kind of writing the sheets of a few NPCs when I realized I didn’t have a field like this.
Ability Assessment: This is to go more into detail into the stats of your character. Is the character fast? Strong? Is the defense lacking? Is skill the top priority? … Or how they may otherwise be distributed. Otherwise, details of fighting style or otherwise could be mentioned. Just remember, for every advantage stat you mention you should have weaknesses to compensate.
Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: Is your character secretly a ___ on the side? Hides a hidden hobby of ___-ing? Or maybe that’s actually quite out in the open? Secretly has a crush on ___? Wants to become a ___ when grows up? Acts like a ___ when confronted with ___? Cannot ___ to save his or her life? … Field of development. Really, if you have this field, you can fill it with whatever such amusing quirkiness you desire, or you may leave this field out entirely and just go with it. You’ll be surprised by what fun things can occur to you if you consider what to fill into this field.
R-button Summarization: What it says when you press the R-button on your character’s name. Extremely limited in size. This description is way too long already, but I won’t be holding to the size restrictions either. These will be shown in the “Notable Individuals” fields of the IC if you have one.

Do post your character in the OOC first. After I have accepted the character you may go ahead and post it in the Characters Section. Not before that.

It is perfectly fine to link your story to existing characters that I have mentioned, like kings or such, or even to characters I haven’t created that might be princes or princesses of other nations or other highly esteemed people that I have no idea of. If it isn’t acceptable I’ll say so, otherwise, feel free and I’ll adapt the story to that~ Of course, anything normal is fine too. It would, though, help if at least one of you is a trusted Grado someone, seeing how King Rioga sees fit to entrust you with the fate of the world. Most appropriated would be if someone was a prince or princess of Grado, seeing how Fire Emblem has a tradition of putting a troubled young Lord in charge in the beginning, but that isn’t a necessity at all. All up to you guys.

In an age long past... evil flooded over the land. Creatures awash in the dark tide ran wild, pushing mankind to the brink of annihilation. In its despair, mankind appealed to the heavens, and from a Blinding Light came hope.

The Sacred Stone.

This glorious treasure held the power to dispel evil. The hero Grado and his warriors used the Sacred Stone to combat evil’s darkness. They defeated the Demon King and sealed his soul away within the stone, which started to glow with a demonic fire which made the stone come to be called the Fire Emblem. With the darkness imprisoned, peace returned to Magvel.

But this peace would not last…

For some 800 years, a quiet peace has reigned in the absence of the terrible darkness. The Sacred Stone has been passed from generation to generation under the command of the Five Heroes. Each of the Five Heroes had a nation built around their power and their legacy.

The Kingdom of Renais, which today is ruled by Ginnava, the noble Paladin Queen.
The Kingdom of Frelia, which today is ruled by Kennard, the prudent Sky King.
The Kingdom of Jehanna, which today is ruled by Sion, the King of Red Sands.
The Theocracy of Rausten, which today is ruled by Edan, the Celestial Emperor.
The Grado Empire, which today is ruled by Rioga, the respected Court Emperor.

These five countries house the powers of the five heroes. They are joined by the emerging mercantile Republic of Carcino. In times of peace, tales of the past conflict has drifted into legend, and memories of the ancient dark arts, or how the Sacred Stone came to be, has all but evaporated. The stone now rests safely in Castle Grado, where it has been deemed the safest.

The year 808 a huge earthquake shatters the nation of Grado. The natural disaster left the grandest nation reeling in its wake, with the other nations sending the support it could. The then emperor, his children and the Sacred Stone was safe, but much of the nation needed assistance. The king and the other nations provided what they could, but a new disaster was affecting all of Magvel…

Ancient fiends, monsters, dark creatures. They came from nowhere, and appeared in all nations at once. Their strength was weak compared to that of human military, but it was a fact that the people was no longer safe, ever since the earthquake that shook Grado. Grado itself took the worst blow, with little military to spare after the disaster, they had to depend on the troops of others to survive.

Three hundred years passed. No solution to the monsters was found, but they were manageable in numbers. No town now went without protection, the people have been forced to accept the threats around the world. However, the people have grown tired of constantly fearing for their lives. They seek something to blame, something to end it all, and a report from Rausten gave them one…

A paper from an esteemed Bishop in Rausten said destroying the Sacred Stone containing the Demon Lord, the Fire Emblem, would vanquish the enemy. The dark researchers of Grado knew the idiocy of this and defended, but the idea had been instilled into the people. The already damaged Grado took critical blame from all corners of Magvel, and it was clear that a change would soon take place.

However, nobody could have predicted just how such a change would take place.

It is now the year 1106…

The Kingdom of Jehanna, flourishing from mercenary business all over Magvel due to monsters, invaded the Grado Empire. King Sion acted on the papers of Rausten, in order to destroy the Sacred Stone to end the monster threat. With their military still recovering and with Jehanna’s mercenaries spread across key locations of the nation to support against monsters, Grado stood little chance.

Emperor Rioga cannot answer Sion’s demands to hand over the Fire Emblem, as its destruction would free the Demon King. At the same time, he cannot face Jehanna’s troops. He has no choice but to use all his strength do defend nothing while a smaller unit (you guys) attempts taking the stone out of Grado, towards safety. But he cannot hold them forever. Grado will fall… It is inevitable.
This roleplay is full and is not accepting more players except for those who have been told otherwise.

To OOC for plot and information.

Prologue: Chosen for a Mission

Jehanna’s forces invaded Grado and were able to cross the distance to Grado Keep at a speed which nobody could have predicted. Even while Emperor Rioga prepares to defend the Sacred Stone with all his might, he realizes that there is no way they could win. So, with a last desperate attempt at saving the world from a horrible fate, even as Sion and his army is knocking on his doorstep, the Emperor calls ___ ___ ___ ___ to his throne room in order to entrust them with an all-important mission….

I'm happy to hear it~
What do you mean, "accepting new people"? We still don't even have an OOC or any posted characters. We'll be accepting new people all the way until we think we've made a mistake. And currently we don't. So yepp, you're very much welcome~

I'll have the OOC up in a bit, I suppose. Heh.
Absolutely. You just happen to be the only one who posts any discussion right now other than me, so I don't have much to say.

Also, yes, it is somewhat helpful, thank you.

I am just making sure an ample amount of time has gone for me to consider and ponder about things, and for random potential interested people to see this thread, before I get things truly going.
Um. Isn't "This is EXCELLENT! Very well thought out." a comment? ... Oh, well! ... And being absent for a smaller while is completely OK, we'll just make sure to take that into consideration at the time.

I could probably post the OOC right now, when I think about it. I pretty much have everything I need already in the current first three posts. But I am wondering a bit, the part with the story, doesn't that really belong in the first IC post? But then again, isn't it expected that the story-part be the first you read in the OOC? ... Or should I just post that in both? ... Haha. Oh, well.
