Teh-heh... And almost all of you start with C... Why you all start with C? That'll make battles against anything normal significantly less exciting for a while. XD

In any case.

@ruler710 As the page on the first page informs, you're allowed to force hits on opponents if they're three letters of Weapons Mastery away from you. You have C in Weapons Mastery. So, I guess, you assumed that they had F? I'm afraid that if they had F they wouldn't be on this battlefield to begin with. They most likely have D, which is that which most average soldiers will have. As there is a single letter difference, you'll have the advantage, yes. ... But they'll have an appropriate chance to fight back. As such, when fighting, you're to tell what you're TRYING to do. Yes, even against these NPCs. If you do want to include a whole fight in the post, you'll have to PM exchange with me for a bit.

I didn't actually expect you to leave the room that quickly. I did think that all the people on the outside would be allowed at least one post before you all came thundering out, and past them. Though, yeah, as for those setting up defense, the Fighters were not actually going to attack. They were the ones on the defensive, really, making sure nobody came into the corridor. Of course, that might have been hard to predict, but I'd have ample reason in my own post... but now they're under attack, so that's another matter altogether.

If things turn too chaotic, I may implement that grid-system, yes, but for now we'll be roleplaying things accordingly in the free-form way of the real world, that's how I envisioned things, and deal with things as it comes. And in the future, I will attempt avoiding making maps that forces 10+ characters to move in the same direction. And using tactics is encouraged, things just went off a bit quickly here. This is the first map, but charging like that... Mind if I remind you two sword-users that there are two lance-wielding soldiers diagonally up-left there? XD
@ruler710 I did intend on Garric being one of the NPCs important enough to be under my control, but I'll accept that for now. I'll be commanding him in the future, however. Mostly, that'd be the case for any NPC that I've seen fit to put a real sheet in the character tab for, but I understand your usage of this scene and such, so no worries. It might have been inconvenient if you wanted to follow... Haha.

Marwood appears to have moved twelve squares and straight past any individuals who may or may not otherwise have been in the way, too. I think I may need to speed up the NPCs too if that's the pace you're setting. All of that is up to the individual, of course. Haha.
You'll never get the Secret Book, Mend is a common enough item, Bronze Axe don't exist, none of you are capable of using Light magic, and the Poison Bow is in the opposite side of the map. Sure, I'm fine with that. XD

Oh, my, different people have different impressions of how fast they should be taking this... XD

Oh, and those two fighters now have names thanks to Harbringer, so they'll probably get stat-bonuses due to having names... ... ... XD [/joke]
Answered the above in PM.
@Nightmare Bunny That long time fight-scene was actually kind of what I had in mind, yes, but they can be worked out like conversations if you players wants it to.

@Draconfound ... ... ... I... didn't actually consider those treasure chests... treasure chests. XD ... I just kind of picked the map because it is Grado Keep as it is in the game, any treasure chests on the map... just kind of came with it, I didn't actually think they'd come into play... XD

Considering that if those archers start walking out they'll run into the Spike Guild on the left and King Sion on the right, they'll realize rather quickly that they're not going anywhere. Remember that Sion will be heading up, so. And it is supposed to take a turn for a thief to open a lock, you might be left behind when everyone else moves... XD (the previous was a game-related joke)

... Well, you might succeed, depending on your explanation. The people around here aren't quite the type to put that much value into the treasures around here, most guards here are pretty sure they're going to be killed one way or another, not to mention I currently don't have a clue what those treasure chests contain. Well, that's entirely up to you to convince me of that something is plausible on that point, though. Haha.
@Draconfound If you want to have a faster conversation, you could PM me short pieces and I'll reply as I see it and then you could post the full thing. I mean, we'd be able to have more answers and returns if we do it that way, but obviously that only works in private conversations and so. Posting your half IC and then I post the answers work as well, but it will definitely take longer.

If you wish to control the conversation yourself you could probably control them yourself, but I would suppose that doesn't get the same response and feeling as actually talking with me would do.

*is sitting on nails hoping nobody tries to recruit nameless individuals, because that'd be totally turn into way too many way too fast, since I'd have to give them all character and such. There's already been random naming of people who are supposed to be nameless... XD*
@71342 Really, any way of telling where you're going that I understand works well. I'd say Harbringer did it excellently.

Also, the guy you're dragging is a Priest, the regular class below Bishop. He can only use staves, you'll see no offensive light magic from him. Is this a conscious mistake or something we can throw in? XD

Oh, and when I say "Any NPC will follow your commands"... It is if the NPCs are of Blue color, so Green (or Red, or Purple assuming it doesn't make sense for them to follow your command) don't need to follow your command if they don't want to. Haha. But... heh...
@Nightmare Bunny In the IC, you tell how you're moving along with the rest of your post. Either by integrating it in the rest like Archibald traveling across half the width of the map just did, or... however else you want, really, haha.

And diversity is excellent~! ... Not sure he became like that when everyone in Caer Pelyn speaks normally, he's probably the only one in the entire world who speaks like that, guess he must have gone out in the wild even EARLIER than I thought, (gosh, that makes a certain detail none of you know so amusing), but eh! I approve! XD

Though really, at later times I'll put some realistic limits of how far you went before stuff started to happen, enemies should have moved an equal distance during their movement, after all.
@Harbringer Oy. Everyone's going to have to move through there. Haha.

@Nightmare Bunny You tell me how you move, I update the map in my next post.

Alright, now let's check the IC...

Edit: Oh, Ret talks like that, eh? Teh-heh...

*onto Alvin's post* Oh, yeah, I could have worded some of those words differently, but the trying to talk would also be getting you killed, so yeah... Hahaha...
@Harbringer XD ... Thanks. That made me laugh. Haha.

@Nightmare Bunny Thanks~

If anyone has quick questions they want a character to answer swiftly or just a comment they want responded to or similar, they can probably ask those outside the IC and I can give the appropriate answer and the person who asked can simply involve it in their post as well. If that is more convenient to them.
