Miroku had wondered what would be their next activity. Learning is cool and all but he was itching to do something else. He had already done most of the quizzes for his year and only a few remained. He stood up, looked at his friends, before looking at Sir Zodiac who was leaving the room. He quickly followed.

To say that he was impressed was an understatement when he entered the armory. Not only did it have modern weaponry, it had a huge variety of it. He started to look around, admiring metal weaponry. As a speedster, he was best in close range so he pried his eyes away from the bows and arrows. He then took two wakizashis from the rack and placed them securely around his waist. He then unsheathed it and then started to slice the air. "This'll work for me." He said with a smirk as he sheathed the swords once more. He also took two brass knuckles just in case.

The Manakete was pleasantly surprised at the noble's reaction. Not only did she drop all forms of boundaries to take his hands and shake it, but she also practically fangirled. Those stories were true. He served as a loyal bodyguard to the castle itself, only being assigned to the front lines every now and then. What Hyakuya didn't know was that Lord and Lady Croce had actually talked about him. He was sure that he only exchanged a few words with the nobles just to greet them.

"I never thought myself to be famous but it is refreshing to see that someone actually acknowledges me." He said with a smile on his face. He kept a mental note to call her by her name and not by her family name. "As the daughter of one of the top nobles of Jotenvarr, I think it is mandatory that I know you. But we shall not let our titles hinder us from being comrades in battle." He continued. No matter the position or rank, they were all equal comrades and that was how Hyakuya would want everything to be like. He just nodded as she apologized because of what she did. He did not find it insulting but if it is her nature to do so, then so be it.

More people were getting in. So all of them were in other squads but then their squadmates met their untimely deaths. And so they've been reassigned to other squads and coincidentally, the ended up in either Squad Trignita or Squad Quinque. Not that Kyakuya was complaining. It seemed that most squads composed of 6 people, like how they originally started, so they were completing their set.

Joan Croce. It was obvious that she was of noble blood, from her dress to her manners. "I had heard that Lord and Lady Croce had a daughter. I never knew that their daughter would dream of joining the army." As someone who had lived in Jotenvarr since the war and then lived in the palace, he had interacted or at least heard of talks about the nobility around here. And his ears were all too familiar with the family name Croce.

"I am Hyakuya, it is a pleasure to meet you Lady Croce. Hm... shall we call you by Joan perhaps? And I look forward to working with you." A troubadour, a healer on horseback one could say. She was needed in their squad and as one could easily see, without a healer, they would end up bleeding like Hyakuya did. He was better now but if they were to be injured in the middle of battle and cannot battle, that would pose a huge problem and thus a healer was needed.

Akiko Kawamura

The brunette had discarded her usual nerdy demeanour and carried herself like how she was taught... or at least, that was what Akiko wanted to do but failed to do so because it was in her natural nature. She wasn't one for acting like a royal despite her family being one of the big shots in Japan. She always wanted to act like a normal girl and no matter how many lessons were drilled into her, she couldn't... wouldn't use it on her every day life. She wore the uniform of the school [if they had one] and then continued down the streets. Nope, no cars, no bodyguard, just herself, walking down the street like common people do. Well, that was what she always did back when she was still with her family.

She was very excited for school because she was going to see the hybrids again. She had interacted with some before and found that they were actually nice, or at least still very human-like with their personalities. Sure, they haven't had any human interactions before but that was still alright considering that the government simply hid their identities. When Akiko heard that there was a school being opened for both hybrids and humans, she was overly excited about it and forced her father to let her in. She then walked in before noticing someone waiting near the walls.

The brunette had noticed that some were looking at her but proceeded inside. Well, she didn't exactly blame them considering that the girl had some air of regality around her as opposed to the normal hybrids around there. Akiko was used to seeing this since she, herself, was born in the higher side of the world and thus met others with the same kind of aura as the young violet haired girl. Mustering her courage, she approached her. "Hello there." She said with a bow before looking at her once more. "I noticed that you were simply standing there. Do you not want to go inside?" She mustered all the politeness and right terms she had learned from her parents when interacting with nobility.

Hyakuya simply nodded when Aika pointed out that it was how they called Manaketes in their region. In all honesty, the dragon didn't know much about other regions so he wasn't aware of other names of his kind. He then stayed silent, happy with merely listening to these young folks talking around. He then proceeded to sit on his bed with his back leaning on the wall and was now facing Azi...

Whose tail was being caressed by Diana. A smile made its way to his face as he watched the whole incident. Hyakuya had only noticed that he was facing a laguz. He had not known much about the race but he had encountered the dragon laguz tribe when he was but a child. he remembered it to be quite an experience, seeing other transforming dragons who didn't need the use of stones. His attention was soon taken back by Diana and Azi when he started to whimper. Ah, of course, a tail was always the most sensitive part of an animal, same can be told with those humans who had their own tail.

And he turned his head towards the door when someone kicked it, a blond haired fellow walked in, greeting everyone there. And so it was safe to assume that he was part of Squad Triginita since Hyakuya assumed that 'retards' was actually pertaining to his teammates. Whatever happened in their trial would have to be different from what happened to their own trial. Not that it mattered much to the manakete. He fell back into silence with a smile on his face as he watched them all talk with each other.

Leo watched her as she placed the bread slice on the table and then ask. He shrugged, not really knowing the answer. "I don't know but it's perfectly edible... you know, you can eat it. It's actually pretty tasty but that might only be my preference though." He continued before tilting his head to the side at her next statement. "Eyes?" And there was confusion on Leo's face. What was she talking about?

Personality - Yutaka is kind and helpful to those he are close with. Although getting on the 'friend' side isn't quite easy since he has a short temper and tends to get shy and awkward around a lot of people. He is on the average side when it comes to studying. He isn't actually acting lazy nor is he doing any special things to improve his studying. She doesn't necessarily hate humans but don't like them either. Any interactions with humans are either because he needs to or he had an argument with them. He is actually very caring towards animals [non-hybrids] and tends to make friends with them. Like his animal half, he tends to be very mischievous and sneaky. He has a tendency to steal stuff from other people, may they be human or hybrid, student or teacher. He can get into a lot of fights thanks tot his but that is if he can get caught.

Biography - Yutaka's tribe is actually pretty scattered but meet every once a month to take back any findings they get. Despite them just seeing each other once a month, they still elected a leader. They base it all upon the amount of valuable things they bring back. The current leader of their small scattered tried is Yutaka's father. When they all met again, they were given a note about the whole hybrid-human school. Yutaka's father practically forced the young tanuki-human hybrid to attend school saying that he'll learn a lot from there and they practically need to do it anyway.

Personality - She is kind and helpful towards others, especially towards her friends. She is actually pretty smart and can practically cram tons of information into her head. It was... photographic memory, they called it. She doesn't hide it at all; Akiko is a gamer, an anime lover and a freelance writer. Akiko can be very shy towards those she just met for the first time. She isn't actually quite good at social interactions with people whom she has to approach. She gets nervous easily and tends to hide in her books, writing, gaming or anime. Despite hailing from a rich family, she acts humble. She is a good cook, since her family has rice farms.

Biography - The Kawamura family is a rich Japanese family. Their rice farms have been producing rich grains ever since the Edo Period. Every generation has been said to have been blessed by the Gods which gives them all the successful rice harvests. When Akiko was just a child, she got addicted in a lot of things like watching anime, playing games and reading books. She didn't have a lot of friends when she was a kid since she was particularly shy and instead just enjoys her own hobbies. When she got in her teenage years, she started to write stories and post them up the internet. Through her family's connections, she managed to publish books herself and make some profit out of it making her a full-fledged freelance writer.

Soon enough, her family got a note stating that they were looking for students. Originally, her father didn't want anything to do with it but after news reached Akiko's ears about the hybrids, she convinced her father to let her go there. He asked why and she simply replied with, "Because hybrids seem to be interesting. And you know, I think I just might be able to make friends with them." And so her father just gave up and sent her to the school. She was in college by then, going for a literary course so she can be more of a professional writer.
